NeroPapas:
To me Love is the most important thing! It will make you stand when trust fails, it will make you carry on when the bridge of communication collapse, it will make you swallow your pride when you are treated with disdain, it will make your go extra mile to put a smile on the other party's face when you are perfroming below expectations, etc

It's not how people feel about you, it's how you feel about them. Read below message sent to me by a frien and you'll understand better:

A thought to share
It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80s arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He said he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00.

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On examining it I saw it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors and got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while! As she is a victim of Alzheimer's disease.

As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised and asked him, 'And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?' He smiled as he patted my hand and said, 'She doesn't know me but I still know who she is.' I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm and thought, 'That is the kind of love I want in my life. True love is neither physical nor romantic.

True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.
Peace is seeing a sunset and knowing who to thank. The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.
Nice one
It sounded familiar to one i have heard before:
A young boy was asked what the meaning of love is and he replied "Love is when my Granpa does pedicure for my grandma because she's down with parkinson, but he does it anyway, even though he has parkinson too"

i have a visa letter from a college in London and the qualification that was listed on my visa letter are my Ordinary level qualification and HND qaulification,i told the college i dont want my OND qualification to be listed on the visa letter becos all i ve got as a prove of having an OND qualification from my school is just a notification of result,i was unable to get my OND transcript and certificate.pls what are the implications of showing just O level cert and HND Cert without any prove of OND certificate if i shld go ahead and apply for a student visa under the PBS?pls i need advice
well, the TBS rule states that the documents stated in the Visa letter should be submitted with ur application, if your OND is not listed, it only shows that the school believe that your HND is good enough to qualify you for the course. I'd advise you go ahead and apply with the documents stated in the visa, however to be on a much safer side, u can submit your OND notification of result like that, am sure it wont hurt.

The thing i posted was, bring your passport hold your money in 2weeks time i will bring your visa, you should go and comfirm your visa before payment. Its just common sense. You are not paying any thing so dont try to spoil the mind of others that are interested,if any is still in need of it with out following others that do not have any money, foresight or experience in aviation just follow your mind and try and see.The number still remains the same 07056781333 or 08060421979.Try and see.Dont underrate your self,i am not colleting a dime from you,a trier will convince you.
like the great Bob marley sang "Many more will have to suffer".
Many folks out there will still end up falling for this fraud even though its obvious!
How does one get you a visa without your fingerprint and interview?, and lets say by some magic not known to man, he is able to do as he said, the bearer of such visa will still eventually find him or herself in deep shit! and from stories, such shit usually meant jail terms

Romance › Re: Would You Marry A Prostitute? by violent(m): 1:20am On Nov 04, 2009
Delta007:
Marriage isnt all about sex. Infact, if things are tense in your home, sex will be the last thing on your mind and your "wow-ish" lady will no longer be that appealing.

Methinks someone's personality matters alot and no matter how tough things are, there are some people that will never stoop that low to willingly sell their bodies for peanuts aka prostitution. However, one thing I have learned in life is that our response to unique life experiences shape our decisions and habits; in the end, we all live and die by the consequences of our decisions. So inasmuch as I try not to judge anyone's past/present, I know I CANNOT marry a love-peddler; This is because my decision has nothing to do with whether (or not) she is repentant; more to do with her personality, who exactly she is, where she has been, what she wants in life, her short/long term plans etc etc I might have been able to date one but Marry? Hmm.  .  .she'd really need to give me some very satisfactory answers why she does not value her body and would easily bend over when she sees Benjamin. People accept you the way you present yourself and a love-peddler to me is someone saying, "I dont value myself, I have no talent and I cant push myself to the limit to survive, hence, I'd like anyone, yes anyone to take advantage of my most prized assets". You know she does not value her life when she can travel several hundred miles just to hump you for some cash without knowing you especially in an "anything goes zone" like Nigeria where you have ritualists and all sorts. That's definitely not the kind of partner I need in my life to compliment and motivate me (someone that has already given up on life) or the kind of mother I want for my kids (What will she teach them? Spread 'em legs when you want a passing grade?). What happens if another recession hits and you lose your business/job? How many abortions has she had (she will never tell you the truth)? What kind of birth/health complications/diseases will you have to deal with in the future?

For the single folks out there, when it comes to the question of marriage, get someone that compliments you and you can make a home with; If you are looking for a love mate, get a girlfriend or pay for a love-peddler (not my thing). Never marry out of pity, convenience or obsession.

To the OP (friend), try to get it; love-peddlers are excellent customer service workers who make that moment very special for you (and they make it special for every other customer, not just you); they have perfected the act over time; so do not think cos she looks into your drunken eyes while she's riding you to glory means she has what it takes to take you from glory to glory for the rest of your life. Keeping in contact while the girl is humping every manliness and Harry (pun intended) in Nigeria does not mean she is the best lady out there for you and doesnt mean she is the worst either. The mere fact that you can fall inlove with a love-peddler means you can fall inlove with anyone you choose to, including those nicer young ladies who do not have a problem sweating it out to earn a degree and be outstanding professionals in their fields or that village girl who refuses to sleep with every man that promises her heaven and earth, despite the fact she just gets by daily. You are in the best position to make the call but it will require you thinking with your skull (just incase you forgot where your head is).
grin, well said

@Chris J: Nah, i very much doubt if his story is even 2 percent true. The guy was just looking for a way to get into the UK.
How do you leave your country in a rush, well dressed up with a tooth brush in your pocket?
If i forgot my toothbrush in my pocket, once am in the plane, all i have to do is to transfer it into my handluggage, and to think the brush left with him right from his bathroom to the UK entry point? i will rather believe the earth is square.

What baffles me more is that more and more Nigerians will be swooned by these so called agents.  We all hear the same story about how risky it is to enter and live in any country illegally, how it is almost impossible to work in such countries given your immigration status, and yet hundreds still fall prey and not only tht a larger percentage dispose of their properties, all for wht?

If i were the british agent, i will have him arrested, not for forgery, but for stupidity that stinks to high heavens. For pete's sake, what if he was asked to explain wht he taught at the University with 50 students?
One thing tht baffles me however is if counsular agents actually go through so much trouble before issuing a denial, from stories ve heard, it looks their decision is strictly played out by their mood

shame of a nation---Bad roads, Poor power supply, corrupt government, poor educational system----to crown it all, Nigerian nationals are being killed slaughtered like animals all around the world---what a shame
I doubt it if an American or  british citizen can be executed anywhere in the world without drawing a large media attention, and even such an act is tantamount to treading on the thin line of war with US or great Britain.
Like someone rightly pointed out, even killing 30 chickens at once is gross, and on certain occassions has generated protest from Animal right activist
But what will Nigerian leaders do after 30 citizens were executed at once on a foreign soil? Raise the issue at the National Assembly, debate foolishly on it and might even settle with an apology letter { at the most} from chinese government, i can bet my my fingernails this issue will not be on the media in another two months time----shame of a nation.
If you ever make a statistical estimation of how many Nigerians will love to be citizens of other nations if the had the choice, you will be appalled at the number--Americans anywhere in the world are proud to be Americans, that's because the US government places a high value on each individual even convicts!
shame of a nation!
