Celebrities › Re: Timi Dakolo Poses With Mandela's Statue by vioment: 5:31pm On May 23, 2017
South Africa is infra-structurally better than Nigeria by a large margin, not to mention the USA. The journey long no be here, and we don't seem to understand that we have a long way to go, but we are just bent on arguing, fighting, disrupting, hating with invisible presence, and many other self inflicted hindrance we employ. When we say God help Nigeria, no be joke o, mean am.

Politics › Re: Military Destroys Illegal Refineries In Okrika, Rivers State (photos) by vioment: 9:05pm On May 22, 2017
It is too bad that the illegal refinery pollutes the surrounding air and water, then to destroy it is even more damaging to the environment and also the economic potential. Only God knows when the African populace will have a visionary way of life.
Celebrities › Re: Fela Effigy Built At Allen Roundabout Lagos By Ambode by vioment: 11:44pm On May 21, 2017
A good way of advertising. To me it brought my attention to those pictures of Lagos, saying it is ready for business and investment. I hope they put city name and state name on those pictures.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Melania Trump Doesn't Wear Headscarf In Saudi Arabia — And It's Not An Insult by vioment: 3:18pm On May 21, 2017
Arabs are pure hypocrites and racist. No African leader's wife will be welcomed like that. If not that Africans are idiots, why shouldn't we be protesting, sabotaging, out innovating the Arabs and make them feel uncomfortable in north Africa. Our leaders need to start preaching and teaching students that Arabs are not and will never be our friends talk less of brothers and sisters.
Culture › Re: Eyo Festival Ends With A Serious Fight Between Eyo Masquerades In Lagos (Video) by vioment: 12:04pm On May 21, 2017
Festivals na wetin oyibo dey do normal but our own dun turn war and destruction. Africa loves backward lifestyle, we are an embarrassment to development and maintenance.
Politics › Re: Biafra Day: Do Not Force People To Sit At Home, It Is Illegal- Lawyer Warns IPOB by vioment: 5:21am On May 16, 2017
This by force sit at home doctrine is similar to Arab ways of life and enforcement based on their ideologies. Am 100% against this sorts of barbaric orders. Preach what you want to preach as long as it is not outright violence and call out Nigerian government for its in-competencies but don't start flogging and maiming people who are going about their business. The igbo tribe are a diplomatic tribe and so shall it be.
Crime › Re: Policewoman, Helen Sunday Shot Dead By Gunmen In Enugu (Graphic Photos) by vioment: 10:36am On May 15, 2017
AreaFada2:
This kind of brutal killing of a police woman must have been orchestrated perfectly. Ordinarily as a policewoman, the police would do a good job.

But those involved in this crime are probably well connected. They'd easily cover their tracts, buy police/investigators.

It can only be love/money related: witnessed massive looting, about to blab about money/affair with an important person and asked for settlement (threat) or taken out by a jealous wife of her married high profile lover or by a furious jealous lover cheated on.

These are the likely scenarios. But no thorough investigation will happen. Even autopsy is unlikely. Her family will say let's leave everything in God's hands.

That is 9ja for you: wearing flashy clothes, using flashy cars, expensive smartphones and so on but mentally still in Victorian times. shocked shocked
facts.

An educated society is a civil society. Nigeria heed this.
Crime › Re: Navy Officials Kill Jobs Seekers At Warri Refinery (Photos) by vioment: 9:33pm On May 12, 2017
Very bad. I hope the senate proposes that every capable nigerian from 18-40, go through military training for four months or a year and scrap NYSC. This should equalize all these bullying from our armed forces.
Crime › Re: Policewoman, Helen Sunday Shot Dead By Gunmen In Enugu (Graphic Photos) by vioment: 9:30pm On May 12, 2017
My problem with nigeria's homicide is that there are no credible investigations. RIP.
Crime › Re: Cultists Caught During Initiation At Imo Secondary School (Photos) by vioment: 11:22pm On May 10, 2017
Agimor:
Everywhere saturated with cultists..... This is not about IPOB or Afonja's.... This is a perennial problem that needs to be dealt with.
This has always been a problem and until we see it for what it is, we will remain doomed without understanding.

This is arguably 25% of Nigeria's problem because it impedes educational growth right at the place of education. u see as devil parole bee. And we are not wise to understand situations on the ground. This national and local challenge to a nigerian student is in addition to a chronic unreliable power supply system; Corruption at all levels in the nation, in every state in the nation and even at all levels in many school administrative systems.

It is no surprise why we can't dig ourselves out of our economic woes and a global beggar status. It's a collective "effort" at all levels especially from the government, the parents, the staff, and every security apparatus we have. A high percentage of our graduates especially of university levels, are not competent in their areas of study to a serious level. We have to start building ourselves out of our mess and the world mess, not only for the 21st but the 22nd century and we have the opportunity to start from scratch and learn from ours and others mistakes. We have to be fast, no time.
Celebrities › Re: Cossy Orjiakor, Vincent Opurum & Others Storm Abuja All White Pool Party by vioment: 8:57am On May 08, 2017
No guys in the pool. Are we just a boring country or what. Fun games in the pool involving both sexes can be done to make the atmosphere more lively. Things don't have to be too aggressive either ie raping, groping, fighting, etc. We can have a civil and interesting fun too.
Politics › Re: Ikpeazu Woos Chinese Investors With Corn And Coconuts (photos) by vioment: 10:04am On May 01, 2017
I just hope this guy is not taking abians for a fool; I mean he is a master of photo op than gov fayose. Gov ikepazu is beginning to lead with all talk and no action unlike gov ambode and gov obiano. I still grade gov obiano as mediocre but he is leading a gov of action.

Am beginning to think that all these governor's(obiano) actions with foreigners and shady projects with natives and foreigners are schemes of looting under the noses. He can allocate overcharge fees for this trip and many more. Let us be wise. Gov obiano, please get serious and lead or step down. No time.

Politics › Re: Nnamdi Kanu Leaves Kuje Prison As Osita Chidoka Drives Him (Photos) by vioment: 7:01pm On Apr 28, 2017
Good look for the decision makers that made this happen. My only problem is that Nnamdi kanu is not an igbo savior. He is arrogant, egoistic, and should be very careful during these times or else he will be taken out for good. He thinks he is trump or kim jun un or even putin. He is a leader with devoted followers but I won't put him in the same sentence with the great Ojukwu.

Nnamdi kanu, preach your message of highlighting the injustices done to the igbos but be humble in your sermons. You don't own or rule the igbos.
Politics › Re: Wike & His Wife Buying Things At A Market In Port Harcourt (Photos) by vioment: 10:57am On Apr 27, 2017
Am not part of governor wike's fan group due to many factors especially his cultist association as a governor, but I must say he seems like he cherishes his wife. At least he got a lesson of substance to teach others.
Politics › Re: Fayose Climbs Ladder To Inspect Flyover Construction (Photos) by vioment: 10:11pm On Apr 19, 2017
Very unsafe and ignorant move. You could've encouraged work place safety equipments in your state. Making the ones you can make, importing the ones you need. Any way, we need to boost up our game in all cylinders in every state in Nigeria.

On point again. Trump is failing big time here and the Russiagate is not going away. He can bomb Syria and threaten to attack North Korea, Americans will hold his feet to the fire on Russiagate.
I swear, i almost forgot about the russigate, you see his distraction techniques. Nice reminder there. We are watching like hawks. He dan know, if na jammo people.

He's strategies are always bolster, uncertainty, cover up, and distraction because he is a false prophet. Nobody seems to bet on his long term stability even for a week not to talk of years. Today he'd say obama was very wrong, tomorrow he'll say the strategy is great without crediting obama. Side note: I heard obama hasn't answered his call since he left office, so that infuriates him . Am sure, obama said to hell with you, since you didn't take transition period serious, deal with the consequences. In a way, all these events are good, because the rest of the world gets to step up for themselves. Anyway nice one bro.

Nice one bro.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Be Ready For Real War If You Launch Airstrikes On Syria Again-putin Warns Trump by vioment: 3:04am On Apr 13, 2017
Lucasbalo:
You are absolutely right that Pootin is a despotic leader and that's why many Nigerians love him because they are used to despotic and semi authoritarian leaders. About time Russians stand up to Pootin and kick him out for his corruption and nepotism. He oppressed his opponents and jail or kill them. What a worthless leader Pootin is.
On point analysis. He is a gra gra fool. That is why trump loves him. Trump wanted military display at his inauguration because that was what his idol did. Trump wants putin to wink back to him politically and militarily, so that they can share and recolonize the under-developed nations and he can suppress blacks and others in the USA. He will fail as usual. Bigly if i may add.

The OP is a psychopath and a never do well who is suffering from Obama derangement syndrome. The guy needs a psychiatric help. When it comes to Obama, Olaadegbu loses all sense of rationality. Op is a never do well. No one in his entire lineage both born or unborn can carry Obama's briefcase.
i concur.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Video Exposes How Corrupt And Evil Obama Really Is by vioment: 6:53am On Apr 11, 2017
Obama is one of the three best american presidents if looked at fairly. He is not white so there are lots of bias against him. No matter how you twist it, obama is a man of peace and morals. Ghadafi was about to massacre people that ran to the hills, and obama stepped in. Osama was treated like a small criminal. Obama has 60 months of steady job growth under his belt. Many things that trump do today, couldn't have been done by obama because he is not white and trump is. It is called white privilege.
Foreign Affairs › Re: 'Ready For Real War' Iran And Russia Warns Trump They Will Retaliate If.. by vioment: 6:43am On Apr 11, 2017
nemesis2u:
when 2 very powerful adversaries engage each other indirectly,

either of them does not want to push /corner the other into a position of no return/zero option

ie. one party offers the other enough leeway to avoid direct confrontation which otherwise might/will end up in a full blow confrontation.

here in syria the survival of US or Russia is not at stake , but they r simply fighting for their interests , whatever that might be ( eg economic/geo-political etc).

Syria is too little a factor for either US or Russia to risk mutual destruction,

so Russia was given a option to allow them to avoid getting into a confrontation situation due to the American strikes.

had the Americans hit the Russians in Syria ., the Russians would have been forced to retaliate directly , hitting the american assets within reach, then the Americans would have retaliated to it , and soon the whole thing would have spun out of control , and we all would be eating radioactive omelettes grin

personally i have no problem with assad going down , if in the process all the terror scum middle east countries like UAE , saudi arabia , qatar etc suffers the same fate as syria too
ur head dey there. nice 1

Good job. But we just need to get our country to be a country again. A country for everyone. That means principled men of honor in power. Forward thinking leadership. All basics infrastructure built. I mean if we have these, we can write believable stories and teach them in schools.

This post is like a rich man/woman and poor man/woman telling a group of youths about wealth. Who do you think the youths will believe more? even if they are both speaking with wisdom.
