Adulthood and everything pertaining to it is all about responsibilities. Sometimes I look back and relish my childhood days. Those days when we run the street rolling tyres up and down while leaving our parents to worry about injuries sustained in the process.

Only those who remain infants in adulthood are those who don't know it is synonymous with responsibilities, with or without marriage. Marriage is just another responsibility associated with growing up, children don't marry, adults do.
Let's be fair to some extent, you can't compare those days to these days.

It's extremely choking now... undecided

...when I see men who want to get married, I always tell them "your home is blessed".

Foolishly, you will see people telling the men "congratulations" .... congratulations for what ? For selling your peace of mind ? or for dividing your life into two ?

If all marriages should dissolve today, I don't think up to 20% of the men will marry again

Word!!!

The reason is that when you are responsible for
the welfare of other human beings, you have to acquire the basic neccessities such as food, clothing, shelter and medicine.

You also need to Send kids to school, pay house
rent, electricity bills, lawma bill, even entertainment bill(Dstv, Gotv, Netflix).

All these are simply the costs of living a secure
and comfortable life.

So yes, living well is very expensive.

Which is why a woman has to find a partner that
would take the burden of these responsibilities
and show serious commitment.

It is very important for the safety and comfort of
her and her children.

So i apologize, if the Marriage maintenance is a bit
expensive, but the Family unit has to thrive in
order for society to thrive, and you are playing
your role as a Husband Well.

Take pride in it, for your sacrifices are,
Imperative.

In a society were standard of living is very poor, how do one expects family units to thrive.

😏What is actually sweet about marriage? What ridiculous decisions are you talking about? Ridiculous decision is that I got married or what? I bet you are not even in a relationship talk more of thinking of getting married. You don’t know shit bro.

Bro I can imagine your plight. 4 years ago I was just rushing and so eager of entering into marriage because I was almost approaching 30.

I am glad I never made that mistake yet... I would have been spending on bills bills bills instead of acquiring more skills...

In my compound whenever I wake and look at my hardworking married neighbor...I feel pity for him... "Bloodshot eyes, atyms he falls into deep thoughts", and he now's looks older then me. Even though I senior him in terms of age.

Fact one can't compare our fathers times in terms of marriage to this current clime.

Everything don cast .. undecided

God bless you . This shows that you’re a responsible man
Not all men are lucky to have women that ‘support’ financially, even if she does, you should not rely on that 100% .
Hmm. . But ehn 100k in two months as a married man is very fair o.

It’s far more easier to save as a single man.

How? When you’re single, you only spend what you want , you can ignore billings you’re not comfortable with , no one can compel u except you’re generous or a simp. infact you can decide to be extremely thrifty , and it’s more easier to adjust and adapt to any situation. You can decide to suspend morning and afternoon food, you can decide not to sub to cable, you can decide to even sleep if you have little change in your account. It’s easier to take risk and you’re open to different opportunities.

But when you’re married, it’s impossible to do all that. No matter how wicked you are , you can’t watch your own wife and kids go hungry , 90% of time , you’ll have to consider your family before taking any decisions.
Except you’re financial buoyant , you can’t just buy any cloths, shoes, for yourself. You can’t go to expensive restaurant without thinking about what to give your family the next day .

If you have money in your acct, you’ll still be scared , 70% of time you’ll be experiencing heart palpitations, you’ll not want them to lack.

Technically as a man, when you marry, you’ve given up your freedom and comfort for others.

That’s why , a man needs to be smart and ‘prayerful’ while choosing life partner , not all women worth these sacrifices.

Word of wisdom...not all women are worth that kinda sacrifices.
Especially this tiktok/oloshoism, manipulative, liars, low quality era of women all around now.. cry

Family / Re: The Brutal Truth No One Would Tell You. by virginboy1(m): 3:12pm On Apr 17, 2023
CaveAdullam:
1. A university is a place of higher education where individuals gain knowledge and skills that can be used to gain a better advantage in any chosen profession. It's a cynosure for ideas from different perspectives, fused into one place so that everything taught and learned will be robust for profits, sustainability, and development.

Take for example a traditional herbalist who can get medication from a different potpourri of plants that can heal. This is based on experience.
However, he lacks knowledge of the biochemical process that resulted in that healing. He doesn't even know the constituents of the plants. All he knows is that plant A + plant B can cure Mr. C's illness.

If he decides to understand this whole process, he takes a pharmaceutical or biochemical course at the university. His horizon widens, and his repertoire of knowledge gets fat. This additional knowledge will fetch him more money as it is an upgrade. Even his clients will be happy to pay more if they are well-enlightened.

Originally, the higher institution wasn't meant for the poor and low IQ. It was for the elites and monarchs to train their kids in preparation to take their position after they retire or die. The peasants were meant to take local professions. Those with high IQs could fit well into the system and benefit largely because, by their IQ, they are curious and hungry for more knowledge.

Fast track to our contemporary day, the university has been filled with low IQs. People are not hungry for knowledge, but see it as a means to an end - money.

The monetization of the university by the government has even made things worst. Centers for learning and education are scattered all over the place, not for educational purposes per se but for profits. You know this by the series of departments and courses they create annually; this is to accommodate more students - the higher the number of students, the higher the profits.

A university education is not a waste. It seems like a waste in many nations today because there is no enabling environment to practice your profession and put every knowledge and skill into action.

Education can make you richer than the layman practicing the same profession as you. It's a matter of having the right tool and environment to implement that which you have learned.

2. Only a foolish son will squander the riches of his parents. Born into a rich home is a rollercoaster to wealth. It saves time and any unnecessary hustles. It gives you an edge over your peers. It gives you connections to other rich people.

Being born into a poor family is a setback. A huge disadvantage that can impede your movement and render you unable to do something meaningful with your life.
It takes a subset of individuals from poor backgrounds to experience success. The majority never meet up.

You can't compare an almajirai child running in the streets of Borno state under a scorching sun, begging for alms with a Saudi young prince. Both are not only continents apart, but in their destiny also. The prince is already in his monarchy while the almajirai is still somnabulating and looking for food to eat.

Being born with a silver spoon matters.

3. Positive thinking helps. Determination is good. Hard work is necessary. Consistency is a prerequisite.

But people do underestimate LUCK.

Your positive mindset, determination et al., are good as nothing if you don't have luck, a chance to make the big blow, and win.

You can't compare a prisoner to a free man. A healthy man to a psychiatric patient. Those that make a breakthrough from rugged conditions are the exceptions, not the rule. Luck met and blessed them.

If your environment is bad, you'll hardly see success. If government policies aren't favorable, you'll struggle hard. If you're not born with the right genetics, you'll triple work your way up.

Be prepared enough. Nothing is set in stone. We live by faith and hope, expecting to reach our destination someday. We must keep moving.

May we be favored by luck and chance.

Thanks.

Words of wisdom;

You too smart!!!!

I prefer the red pill reality of never expect anything good from women; always expect everything bad from women to the blue pill scam of
women are weak and sweet creatures; when you treat them nice you will enjoy their company and loyalty like angels

The disappointment and heartbreak that comes from the later can make a simp run mad or commit suicide.
I don see women finish for this life. Nothing about them excites me anymore 😎
