I see people churn out 1000 NCB and LCB (journals, notebooks, youtube planners, etc) in a week with nothing to show If it was so cool why is ingramSpark banning them on their site. Amazon may follow suit. Some people have over 10,000 NCB and could barely make $1000 a month.

Well, I have little reservation for LCB if you are doing some illustrations and adult coloring books, even at that, it is saturated. If i have 1000 well-written books i will conveniently cross $20,000 a month. Forget those guys on Youtube, they are after lazy people who don't want to write but want to cash out on kdp. They know those lazy folks give them more views and they cashout from Youtube.

Even here too, you see people who have written books but have made barely nothing from them because they didn't do their due diligence. Nothing is guaranteed.

It's the same thing with NCB/LCB. If you do your niche research well and publish a journal that took you less than 30 mins to make, you can make as much as anyone writing full content books but if you just churn them out, you may make nothing.

Journals still sell and that's why Amazon won't ban them. It all depends on preference though. For me, I'd rather spend less time and publish LCB/NCB rather than spending a week to write a book that might not take off.

You are welcome. Let me also make you understand that kdp is a game of number if you don't have money to promote your books like me, just ensure to be ready to write your ass off. Not LCB or NCB o. Those are for lazy guys looking for a fast way out. Over the course of 4 years, i was able to get 110 well written non-fiction books and it resulted in btw $3000 to $3500 monthly organic sales.

Quick tip: Don't look at you dash board, write the first book, publish, go to the next one, publish. Just keep doing it. Its a lonely life, but you will come out strong on the other side.

That's nice. But LCB/NCB is not for lazy people looking for a fast way out. It also has its rules and research process. If you go out there just dumping hundreds of notebooks you'd make nothing.

Someone like shashwat is making 10k or more from only LCB/NCB.
I too am grateful I got to know about it. So no, it's not for lazy people.

I landed my first job of $120 on Upwork.

After 9 days following Venzal's thread back to back and writing out Ben Settle's emails and then finally writing my own personal samples.

I created my Upwork account yesterday because I decided to chill first.

Made my Profile Overview so damnnnnn irresistible.

Saw a job offer and tested out my proposal writing skills on the job offer and attached one of my samples.

Woke up this morning to the client's message.

I quickly cranked out two emails as samples for him to reel him in.

Now I've got the job!

I'd work to give the client the best result.

P.S: Venzal has given us everything we would ever need to start and I can see some people here are still contemplating and asking questions.

Write out samples by hand and it would come easily when typing next time.

Of course, you can't just become a globe trotting master copywriter except you put in the hard yards (like Oga Venzal will say).

What could be worse? There is nothing like mastery in copywriting.
The revered guys just have higher confidence levels and maybe a few dollar churning copywriting tricks up their sleeves -nothing you can't learn.

Its been a while I made an update on this thread, I guess the reason is because I have been working more than ever at breaking even in publishing, learning, unlearning and relearning new strategies and testing them out to see what works. So yes, helioshay has said it all, the work has to be put in + smart work + hard work and I love to say + God's involvement = Success, Money, Joy etc. My screenshot is a little encouragement to those that feel discouraged, I know how I started, what drove me to publishing and thanks to helioshay who responded to my post about where to invest, he was the only one that suggested publishing that sounded great to my ears and today, I am in a better place in publishing than I was last year. It was not easy, so don't expect to cut corners, but much of the tactics and strategies I use today is as a result of being consistent in publishing and been open to new ideas. I don't make as much as others do, but in due time, I would get better results. Please don't message me privately to ask any questions, I also don't offer mentorship, simply start with what you have learnt and read so far, I wont respond if you message me but can respond on this thread.

PS. The ad stats is exclusive of organic sales obviously and more so, I dont outsource my books, I did for the first book I wrote but I realised it was not sustainable finacially if I wanted a very high quality book, so, I started writing my books my self because I am good at it and I design my covers myself using photoshop because I am good at colors and whats good and not. The morale of this is, do what you need to do to get to where you desire to get to, learn how to write quality books if you cant outsource and learn how to design good covers with any software that can help you get the job done.
