Car Talk / Re: Please Tell Me About This Car by VISTIN(m): 8:01pm On Feb 02, 2017
The car is not a bad one only make sure the area you want to use it mostly is not rocky. I mean very bad roads.

Better still, when you buy it, get a good mechanic and raise the four shock absorbers. Then fix engine sump protector.

The reason is that the car is too low and small contact breaks the "aluminum" sump.

It's a good one

Politics / Re: "I Stand With Buhari" Protest To Hold Alongside 2face's Protest by VISTIN(m): 5:25pm On Feb 01, 2017
This is total madness.
Sometimes it looks as if some people have special hatred for this government.

When people want to express their feelings democratically, they will send another group to mess things up.

I will keep saying that PMB made mistakes, he failed to unite the country. If he had called it a task, he would have done better than any other person.

He refused to let go of the past and move "Nigeria" forward. He's running the govt like a "revenge" thing.

Some persons don't know what average Nigerians are passing through. No light but you must pay. 1 litre of petrol is N145. A litre of kerosene is about N300. A bag of rice is N22,000. 1 custard bucket of garri is N900. Dollar is N500.

The major anger is that people are not seeing any sign of imminent relief. They have the right to protest. If it were in a civilised country, both APC and PDP supporters will come out and protest "bad governance".

But same people who are unable to take two meals a day cos of situation of things will say PDP has paid some people to stage a protest against APC.

Religion / Re: We Want Fridays Declared Work-free For Muslims Like Sundays – MURIC Director by VISTIN(m): 8:41pm On Sep 04, 2016
Story.

Saturdays and Sundays are weekends and work-free. Christians worship there GOD on Sunday and there's nothing anybody can do about it.

That day is symbolic and I believe even the founders of Islam know it and have not contested that.

If you want additional work-free day, tell Buhari, as long as it won't affect salary.

But try to understand that, since Muslims also enjoy Sunday as work-free day, Christians will also enjoy Friday as work-free day.

Haliburton scandal itself was done by Jonathan

Health / My Experience At Isolo General Hospital, Lagos. by VISTIN(m): 12:08am On Aug 26, 2016
This is an ugly situation I never expected from any right-thinking personnel.
Some time in July, my younger sister fell sick, having serious stomach pains and chest pain.

It was so severe that we had to rush her to Isolo General Hospital. On getting to the hospital, after their normal preliminary processes, we were told she had to wait until someone was discharged before she could be admitted, as there was no vacancy. We decided to wait while tests were being run.

A particular doctor asked for malaria test. We didn't want to argue, even though I saw no connection of Malaria with the situation on ground.

Meanwhile, as we were trying to do that, another doctor suggested we do a scan to be sure of what the problem was. That we followed, and scan showed that she has ovarian cyst (according to the lab personnel) which is gradually affecting her kidney.

Recommendations:
The doctor said the solution could be surgery, but in the interim, she would be place on some antibiotics and pain relief drugs for some time.

Moreso, she would take pregnancy prevention pills to stop menstruation for some time. This he said may force the cyst to disappear. But she would report back after two months. We followed this process diligently.

Unfortunately, by August 24, the trouble started again. This time in a more dangerous form. We rushed her back to the hospital and they did another scan and concluded that she has fibroid.

Recommendations:
This time the only way out is surgery to remove the stuff.

The trouble:
Now, we wanted to do the surgery at Isolo General Hospital but non of the doctors was responding. We asked for a referral letter to LUTH but they refused and discouraged us.

What Did They Want?
Every of the doctors has suggested or strongly advised we use their private hospital. They prevented us from having the surgery done in the hospital where they receive salaries, they prevented us from going to LUTH where we will get it cheaper, not minding the protocol.

When we inquired about the cost in their private hospital, one said N400,000 while the least quoted N300,000.

Though we have decided to take her to a gynaecologist in Anambra who would do it at N170,000, but it's strange that people can be this callous and selfish even to the detriment of their employers.

I didn't write this to blackmail the Hospital but frown at the attitude of some people in the public sectors. General Hospitals in Lagos have been doing great but this experience is just shocking to me.
I hope my sister will be fine, and I pray people don't lose their lives for situations like this.
God bless Nigeria.

After the Enugu killing by the Devils, I heard that the commissioner of police has gone to the scene.

I hope he has not gone to arrest the youths who have gone after the devils.

That's their mission, "Kill them and we will keep them quiet".

But one day, The Almighty GOD will treat Islamists like Babylon.

The question I want to ask about this budget padding is, did they alter the figure that the FG estimated for 2016 budget?

Did they remove items and insert their own? If that is so, then why did Buhari sign it?

I remember we were shown a picture here where "Buhari was reading through the budget before signing" and people were praising him.

So why did the FG or Buhari study and sign padded budget?

Again, if it's true that that N940m grazing fund was hidden in one of the articles in the budget by the executive, it means none of them should go to Equity.

I'm not supporting corruption, but if the only thing Buhari wants to achieve as a as a president is fight other (independent) Arms of govt, it's not in our interest.

For me, the ranting is too much, since the so-called Law makers don't access budget funds, why not wait and see how it will manifest.

Summarily, the entirety of this administration is corrupt, from head to tail.

The list is coming from the VP's office, that's why the names are not from one side. If it was from Buhari, until he exhausts all the goats in the North, he won't look elsewhere.

Take it or leave it: Southerners think more of a united Nigeria than Notherners.

The question is, how come all these mess are coming up @ the time when they said A New Sherrif is in town?

Meanwhile, this media propoganda is not helping issues.

Has the FG released budget allocations that Dogara used to furnish the house so quickly.

Even if he stole money, the first thing was to furnish a guest house? I see lies all over.

You can't force a relationship, this is mere pretence.

In as much as I believe nothing is impossible, the tussle went beyond ordinary.

They have different political interests and have allowed it to get to marrow of their people.

Amechi sold his people to APC, not because he joined the party (he can choose where to belong), but he decided to cancel the Niger Delta University to the applause of the North.

Nevertheless, if their peace making will bring dollar rate down, reduce price of kerosene and make food stuff available for Nigerians, I volunteer to be a mediator.

Op, let me pray for your protection. They'll come after you but I declare, "no weapon formed against the truth" shall stand.

What surprises me is how somebody will be gazing at the truth and say otherwise.

The truth is that Buhari had the opportunity to write his name on gold by putting Nigeria in other, but he has messed the whole thing up.

The worst may be ahead as this govt will commit more atrocities in other to remain in power beyond 2019. They know Nigeria has rejected them.

This is not about ethnic hatred but facts.

For instance, I didn't vote for Ambode but if he continues the way he's doing and keep improving, my PVC belongs to him in 2019.

All we want is good governance, but Sai BABA has failed woefully.

God bless the OP.

How does this affect the price of Kerosene for the better of those in the rural areas?

Foolish leaders fighting over nothing while they hate the people the pretend to be fighting for.

I'm hopeful that sooner than later, the cries of innocent Nigerians going through agony cos of bad leadership will get to destroy the works of these evil men.

Instead of the South to be slaves to the North, I pray that GOD will turn his (Buhari) counsel in FOOLISHNESS.

He fraudulently obtained PhD from a State University even when there's no Waec certificate to show.

If he has a good intention for Nigeria as a country, he will succeed. But if he ever has a skeleton in his cupboard, he will not last to achieve it.

Today Kerosene is N300 per litre in the parallel market, everything is going up and somebody will come here and say the president has the power to appoint anybody.

Let him feel the govt with almajiri's in the name of nepotism. God will judge him at the right time.

Since the mods allowed this to be here, it means we are free to comment.

The Yorubas "went" to school but Yorubas are not "going" to school now. With the number of "Agbero" growing on daily basis.
Notherners don't just carry gun, even though most of them are heartless (they value religion more than life). They're pulling weight in politics, use others tribes and dump them.

Niger Deltans aren't lazy. The Nigerian govt destroyed their land and the only thing about that region is oil (which has made agriculture difficult). Take it or leave it, they feed Nigeria, they deserve some respect.

The Igbos are everywhere, education, business. They became so wild that money has become everything. They now carry drugs to hit it bigger.

Talk about education, the Igbos are not lagging behind, they have people who are intellectuals.

The Yorubas are peaceful and more accommodating than others. Followed by the Igbos.

Put them together, we all have our weaknesses and that's what you get when your population is approaching 200 million.

God Bless Nigeria.
