missKiffy: All this need to stop, while I was in school, a lady was mistakenly poured acid, cos her friend thought it was water, some students kept some materials for disinfectant in the hostel and there's a material there that looks like water inside eva water bottle, the girl thought it was water and poured it on her friend cos it was her friends birthday. The reaction was that of pouring acid on someone, the girl needed about 12m for surgery. I don't even know whether she survived or not. All this acts of pouring things on people should be stopped Jesus! For real That's a horrible story o. My school poured satchet water but i guess it would just be a matter of time before they decide to graduate to something "innovative" |

Nigeria unfortunately has a huge Lebanese community doing legitimate business here - Retail supermarkets, Tyre business, Paper and plastics manufacturing etc. I can bet you that a member of his extended family is living here and invited him over. |

Adesiji77: Thanks for the complement. However, I am not the author of the article
Loans/mortgages can be renegotiated though doing that for rents may be challenging. Noted. Its still a good write-up and you educated some here. There is no true mortgage industry in Nigeria. Informal loans, yes. Formal loans....hian! Oyo is the person's case o. Especially when its not a corporate organization that took the loan. |

I was more upset while driving to work this morning and listening to the famed Rotimi Disu on Classic FM endorse what the Oba said. Some rubbish about respecting tradition. When did we disrespect tradition not to believe that the crash was caused by either operational negligence, prevailing weather conditions or mechanical failure. I am also sure that Government showing more "respect" for traditional rites includes monetary donations for those so called rites to take place not so? |
