David0:Social media was never meant to be an avenue for cyber bullying and insults. Its only shallow-minded people with low self esteem who hide behind a keyboard and spew, trash to make themselves important that can utilise it for such. In a few hours from now, those same individuals dust their bibles and go off to church! |
miqos02:That's the picture. As I mentioned, it's very rudimentary and you could start small. After installing may solar panels + charge controller to this, I will add another battery (if I can afford it ). For now, my 2.5kva Firman generator set charges the battery back fully in about 7/8 hours (but I make sure never to deplete it more than about 70%) which I spread over 2 days + if there is zero Phcn. Else, it charges for less time to 100% full charge.

EnergyWA:I think the first poster was concerned (and rightly so) by the unforseen but strong underground cartel run by generator importers in this country. Their direct livelihood will be affected by this proposed venture and they could find ways to politicise it. Case in point, remember LG's battery operated PLASMA TVs of a few yrs ago? I think if government finds a way to include them in the value chain somehow of making this project work (probably import the hardware or something), then it could benefit all - importers, finance operations, consumers alike. |
Super story! His account was hacked jare. |
DancingSkeleton:It depends on the capacity. I installed a1.1kva sine wave inverter and 1 200AH battery in my house in late January. It powers all my energy-saving bulbs, 2 ceiling fans, TV, DVD, laptop. But not fridge or freezer nor electrical iron. Inclusive of wiring and installation costs, I paid N80k. Waiting for my landlady to give me approval to add my 2 solar panels on the roof soon. |
nedu2000:Don't mind the OP. The babe came to collect her cheque jare. ![]() |
For real? No currency swap after reading two very lengthy threads to fully understand what it's all about?! And the advantages made some sense o! |
V0lv0:Since it's clear that your likes do not know how to communicate without "trying" to be insulting when giving correction, you leave me know choice than to ignore your little jibe. Oh and speaking of Google, you must have missed the thread of 3 days ago that had Ghana's name on the list. That's where I saw it for the first time. Not that I owe you any explanation. Talk about uncouth! |
Ishilove:One of his popular love interests back then. And on again/ off again chick kinda thing. They all toured with him at different times. Sheila E was purported to be his fave though. |
What on earth is happening? Why are all our golden legends dying this year? This guy is so talented, it hurts. Cream, purple rain, Gold.... |

Kylekent59:Nigeria is actually quite late or in signing an agreement of this nature with China. Let me not use Britain as an example since they are an industrialised country (and therefore not import-dependant). Is Ghana a slave to China since they signed this same bilateral agreement ? Watch and see first before we hastily criticise. If GEJ had first started this but didn't conclude, you will all be change your tune o that PMB is simply implementing GEJs vision, your support for it and all what not. Chill. |
leksmedia, Would increased demand for Yuan (as the case may be soon), not put pressure on the exchange rate btw Naira and Yuan which will slowly take us back to square 1 as happened with the dollar? Also, how are we so sure importers will reduce the prices of goods at the micro level if they just want to still pocket the difference? I am all for it though. Our terms of trade should gradually improve with time. But we still need to get out of the rut of being an import -dependent nation. |
Impossible! Toke Makinwa didn't get an invite?! |

Wealthyone:I Feel u bro. I started using BBs in 2009 with the BlackBerry Curve . Since 2012, my 2 phones have both been blackberrys even till now. I have a Passport that will be 2yrs old in October and a Z3. I can't believe I will have to dump them both by year end. This is what happens when there is intense competition in the corporate marketplace. BlackBerry has been muscled out of existence |
A United States Academic report for the year 2015 has suggested that the Igbo people of South Eastern Nigeria are the most Brilliant black African Race. This doesn’t come as much of a shocker taking into account the Two Igbo students who broke records by gaining admissions into 8 Ivy League Schools. The students, Harold Ekeh scored 2270 out of 2400 on his SATs while Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna scored a 101.6 GPA. 17-year-old Harold Ekeh is a senior student at the Elmont Memorial High School in Long Island while Augusta Uwamanzu- Nna is a high-school student from Long Island, New York. The 8 schools offering the admissions include: Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania and Yale University. The report reads: “A search through the promotional materials of school for a black student – all schools and colleges would always show some black faces in their promotional materials if they have any – reveals that they have had at least one black student, and it was, unsurprisingly, a Nigerian Igbo.” According to two online news portal, NBC News and MSN, the two teenagers are faced with “a big decision to make soon.” as Harold Ekeh has 13 admission offer from universities, 8 of which are Ivy League schools which according to NBC makes the choice-making decision harder than usual. Ekeh while Speaking with NBC News said: “It’s very, like, stunning. It’s like getting hit with a brick, honestly. When you see congratulations, you’re like, wow your hard work has paid off, definitely.” Nairalanders...don't hate, appreciate Source: http://spicyblitz.com/us-academic-report-reveals-igbo-people-are-the-most-brilliant-black-african-race/: Cc: lalasticlala |

Good one. Should have also addressed the issue of birth control though. I am pleased to see that homosexuality will not be unduly indiscriminated against while it remains generally frowned upon. |
Unbelievable! Undergrads being treated like swine in their own country. Its not as if the fees are free sef. So they aren't allowed to protest inconducive environments again or what? And because you paste some circulars round the school with an inconvenient deadline, you lock up all persons left on campus?! God help us in this country. Nigerians are tolerant to the point of being zombies I swear! ![]() |
Extremely dangerous and reckless behaviour from so called educated youths. And what on earth is the last dude up to, sitting or pushing the bike with his feet? ![]() |
So many posts without so much as a positive comment. Nigerians though ![]() |
