Someone will state a car issue. You wont even ask for a scan result. You will just go to AI and drop everything verbatim as AI told you. Is that how you attend to your customer's cars?

Now my own steering rack is still normal. Yet the fluid leaks. If I fill the power steering fluid compartment, I can use it for almost 2 months before it goes low again. My steering is still as normal as it should be. I even drove it down to the east from lagos and back during the Xmas holiday. Unless I tell u, u wont know I have leaks. Is the solution changing the rack too? Can it be fixed?

Please, I really need help before I give up on this car.
I have a 2006/2007 Honda Civic and the fuel consumption is extremely bad , it’s behaving like a V8 engine. This is far beyond normal, and I don’t believe simple sensor errors alone should cause this level of consumption.

Here’s my situation:
• I’ve replaced parts that were throwing codes (02 sensors, MAF sensors, Purge valve, Egr Valve, ect2 sensors, no hose leak anywhere, air filter changedl, plugs changed)
• Fixed the cooling fan (now working at factory settings)
• Reset ECU multiple times
• At every refill, I reset my trip meter
Real example:
• 16 liters → only 40 miles (~64 km) . that's around 10MPG
This is draining me financially.
I’ve spent close to ₦800,000 on diagnostics, repairs, and parts — moving from one mechanic to another with no real solution. Even tried a well-recommended workshop in Oyingbo — still trial and error.
Another example:
• ₦20,000 fuel finished just from Abule Egba → Airport → back
This is not sustainable.

Current observations:
• Spark plugs are brown (no oil, no black soot)
• Engine runs relatively smooth , with a little vibration(I just realized my mount is bad and that could be he reason for the vibration)
• LTFT around -21%
• No major current fault codes
• Mechanics here don’t seem familiar with proper fuel pressure testing , so I haven’t done that
I’m honestly exhausted and frustrated. I don’t have access to highly experienced professionals, and I keep wasting money without solving the problem.
Please:
What could cause this level of fuel consumption on a 1.8L engine?
What should I check next that others might be missing?
Any serious, experience-based advice would be greatly appreciated. I honestly don’t know what to do. Pple just dey refer me to their pple on man know man. At the end na rubbish

I also observed that my driver's seat exit system stopped working (steering doesn't go in or out and seat doesn't slide front or back when I start or switch off the car. This also started yesterday after I replaced all the fuses in the car to new ones. Please what may be wrong with it? Your advise will be appreciated 🙏. Thank you.

Kindly note: the steering tilts up and down and goes in and out when operated from the knob on the steering system. The seat also moves in and out when prompted by its buttons.

P2757– torque converter clutch pressure control solenoid control circuit performance or stuck off.

Both showing pending

I would advise you find another job or look for how to earn a living, then u learn how to drive, get your license before u start looking for a car.
Even if u don't do ehailing, u must learn how to drive and get a DL as an adult man.
If and when u have ur DL and u are now perfect in driving, and u still haven't had a stable source of income, then u can look for a car and do ehailing. Knowledge of road is d least of your concerns right now.

Funny enough, i bought my car middle april of 2022 without knowing how to drive talkless of drivers license. I dropped the car with my youger bro who knew how to drive. He was driving his own and mine. I went to a driving school for two weeks. Then i and a friend went to pick the car. Then sef my driving license never come out. I knew when police checkpoint closes around my area. So i started driving to work. After like three weeks, my temporary driving license came out. i used it to register on bolt and indrive sometime in june. No one knew i just started driving that car around middle of may. Had no accident. The only issue i even had was understanding how to use the google map fully which i later understood.

Your issue is from the rear brake apparatus.
If your vehicle uses brake linings, open each brake drum and inspect.

I changed brake pads and callipers two weeks ago and I started noticing this.
Infact I did serious leg work. Callipers, break pads, upper arms, lower arms, shock absorber, linkages. Injust changed all.

My younger brother had this issue recently on his 09 E350. He was having blue smoke. One engine seller linked him to a mechanic that works engine for him. His engine was ringed and it is working fine. The job was done late last month and it cost him #670k for everything.

Hello guys, i am having an issue with my car. it is a 2008 acura tsx with an automatic transmission. It actually started recently.
At cold start, when i switch to reverse, it wont move till i step on the throttle and then you hear this low thud and it moves. once you start driving it, you wont feel that issue again untill you park it for a long time say over night. I has no driveability problems and this issue happens only during reverse at cold start. i have checked the transmission fluid and it still looks okay. I serviced it last july of 2022 with honta atf dw-1. I have taken it to a scan center seeing that my personal scanner is a small one and cant read transmission codes and it was scanned. it didnt throw up any code. i am confused on what to do next.
1) should i drain the fluid and change it and the filter? that might involve bringing the gear down as the filter as i learnt is inside the gear.
2) i spoke with a gear mechanic i saw one day working at ladipo. he says he works on only honda gears and was actually working on that of a pilot when i saw him. he is yet to see the vehicle but said he suspects it is the gear selector switch that might be having an issue.

i need suggestions from anyone who has had this sort of experience.
