If I knew they opened all items for customers, I would have made them open up the flannel I bought cos I regret buying it cos its small and can't wrap a baby fully at all

Pls I bought those 5 in one flannel and was told it's the big size and after that size is the 2 in 1 that is used to back babies but on getting home and opening the pack of flannel it doesn't look big at all in my eyes and where I bought it from is very far so no option of returning it so my question is what are flannels used for? Because my understanding of it before was it can be used to carry baby like shawl.

Well the way it was packaged shows it has never been opened before or better still let's say laziness jare but I might still wash them sha depending on my strength that day.i only bought 2 shawls

My induction was moved to this morning but my water broke in the night around 11:30pm, I felt a small gush of yellow fluid and some mucus. Then I wore a pad to be sure but nothing came on it for 1hour, I sat to pee on the toilet and had another gush. Then I had a small gush again around 2am and the contractions started. Waited till 4am to wake up hubby and kids, took the kids to my sis Inlaw and got to hospital around 5:20am. My contractions were 8mins apart but very painful, checked and was 4cm, confirmed it was my water that broke and baby already pooped inside. Wheeled to LAndD around 7am, and was managing on nitrous oxide coz epidural was taking long. Checked at 8am, 7cm and contractions were really crazy at this point and was shouting for epidural! Epidural came at 8:10 but I couldn’t hold still again and nurse decided to check and baby head was already crowning, team of people rushed in and baby was born 8:23am. It was my third birth and was the most painful labour I ever had ���, it felt like I was dying! Baby is 3.5kg and no tear at all. Allaahummo Bariik.


She was born on 41weeks exactly, team March 31st.

Yes I plan to wash almost everything except shawls. Personally as an adult when I buy a new outfit for myself I have to wash it before wearing it out ,if not I won't feel comfortable. But this baby washing is just gentle washing with little Detergent just to remove anything that might be toxic

Good morning teamie, we are just three in my compound and one of the had already blocked her backyard so it was only one that knew I washed anything.. I dried it on the rope outside but monitored it so that I packed in as soon as I noticed anyone has dried... The only comment the woman made was to ask why I was washing even the new items which I explained and that's all + we have a good relationship... If it were to be my former compound, I would have dried inside and ironed.. When you air dry and iron, you are good to go.

Okay I think I will wash and dry it in the visitors room, then iron them after because I don't want anyone knocking my door to ask me if I have giving birth and
so on lol

Very normal... I even snapped everything as I was buying and created a folder for it on my phone and I also bring them out and play with them (funny) but I stopped after washing and ironing for the clothing items (I washed 2 months ago and the last batch yesterday).. This evening I was viewing the pictures on my phone and smiling so it's perfectly normal

Teamie pls when you washed,did u dry it outside with ur baby hanger or u dried it inside? Did your neighbours make any side comments?I am thinking of washing as well but I don't know where exactly to dry it because I am avoiding questions

Oh my God! Can't believe we are in April already.
Heavenly Lord we thank you for this wonderful journey and beautiful experience we are currently having because without you we wouldn't be here today, father accept every bit of our praises of you (amen), provide us with the necessary things we need to be mothers and fathers to these lovely gifts from you and grant us good health from heaven above to birth and look after our little ones. We commit the reminder of our pregnancy journey onto your care, we join our hands and souls in one accord that we shall not experience stillbirth, complications or death amongst us( using this as a prayer point that you console families who are passing through this and Lord bless them with double for their trouble and pain very soon) in Jesus mighty name. We pray oh Lord that our testimonies are permanent and we receive the strength to carry on with life in Jesus precious name. AMEN!!!

I hope teamperfection are in top gear preparing to meet our little ones in faith soonest. I'm sorry some of us are having third trimester morning sicknesses, please let's hang on a little because God who has given us the strength till this stage will finish with us.

Hope we are taking our drugs(even if not everyday) and then let's listen to our doctors or health practitioner's advice and seek second or even third opinions where necessary. Let us also endeavor to eat fruits or take smoothies regularly or seldomly for people who can't tolerate it and eat healthy foods.

May the great provider surprise us all and make things easy.

Please, I'll love if we all respond to roll call so we would know we are all doing ok.

We can choose a specific time for the class, maybe 8-9pm daily tabi 9-10pm daily. Or should we make them weekends?

What do we think? Am sure everyone will learn one or two things from each class especially first time mother's like me lol.

Here are the topics I picked and it's just for 7 days, each topic per night tabi weekend deni.

But everything has changed for me
Am 29 weeks and a few days gone when my world was troubled.
On Thursday last week was jejely sleeping when l felt like urinating
Cos l was tired, l decided to wait for some time before standing up, only for me to feel as if l have already urinated on the bed, l immediately put on the light and l was in a pool of blood
To cut long story short got to the clinic and was told l had placenta previa type 4
Bleeding and water has stopped, but was placed on bed rest till 36 weeks
Scheduled for surgery, no VB for me.
Pls pray for me, l was truly mocked, l can't afford to loose this precious boy, l want my mockers to see him face to face

I tell you, okay now like this I can't take satchet water any more because it smells like either a dead rat or there is excess chemical but if I take bottled water I will be okay with it, me that has bn taking satchet water since I was born o...so do I kill myself? If anyone is having it easy during pregnancy that person is extremely lucky..infact my husband wished I had twins so I won't pass through that route of pregnancy again... I became a shadow of myself

If that my nurse here this one,she will so laugh you and make u feel somehow.

That matron is not professional in her choice of words, it's a matter of luck or let me say grace of God for pregnancy not to humble a woman, the fetus controls the mother abeg.. Nobody can tell me otherwise.

Lol that's the same thing a nurse in my hospital like saying o,infact she will say ur konkonlo (small) baby can not control you and that she doesn't get it when pregnant women select food and blame it on the baby because she is also a mom too.I just laugh her in my mind and say thank God your own pregnancies are always stress free but don't laugh others

I woke up today in high spirit ready to go for my antinatal with my fine bubu gown and new all back braids I made yesterday
Took bike from my house to the junction, told the aboki bike man 'kadankada fah' I even pointed to my stomach so he can understand.

On the bike too I was still cautioning him with kadankada. Within a twinkle of an eye, this aboki man went to climb a rocky part whereas there was a smooth part beside it o, I was Still cautioning him when his tyre hit one sharp something and I can't even explain what happened that minit, I held unto him shouting blood of Jesus. The bike was going for a fall.
How God held him and we didn't fall is still a Miracle. handbag fell down , phone, everything with me.

People rushed to us to bring me down and all I could do was cry. Infact they all gathered and was insulting him.

Just thanking God cos it wasn't more than that, if not where I for dey? With my biggie belle?

Rejoice with me, I just put to bed a bouncing baby boy on 5th of March. As FTM, the pain was really unbearable for me, contraction started at 2:40am, I was enduring it until my husband woke up and was like, lets go to the hospital, I said noooo. I don't want to go there and they will send me home in this pain, I wanted to see the mucus plug before going anywhere.

Well, I couldn't eat as I was feeling nauseous..i stayed awake from 2:40am, well when it was around 12:30pm, I went to brush, but I started vomiting, the force of the vomit pushed the mucus plug and that was a sign for me.
I immediately went to dress up and off to hospital I go, getting to the hospital everything went fast, within 10 minutes of entering labour room, I delivered my small handsome baby. I had some tear though but it's part of the package.
Thanks y'all for all the knowledge you share in this page. May God all of you safe and easy delivery..Amen.

Good evening Mamas.pls how safe is lonart or any ACT maleria medicine in 30 weeks ? According to my test results doctor said I have maleria and fansidar won't do the work but I just want to be sure ,you know get a second opinion before going ahead.
