It is actually since I started reading the Canads study thread on NL that I see people applying for SP with Police report. 3 of my friends landed this August ( all first time applicsnts) and none used Police report for their SP application. Also on the Canada study group on telegram, the norm is always mentioned that police report is not a requirement for SP application and people are getting their PPR too. So for me, i also think it is optional and does not affect the application by any means. For PR application, it is a mandatory requirement. But let everyone do what they think best though.May God perfect our applications, Amen makano: 2 Likes |

Sure she did like I mentioned on my post. Her layover was about 5 hours, so she chilled at the airport. Also someone shared a recent landing gist and he had a 12 hours layover connecting from toronto to BC. So his friend in Toronto picked him up and went to downtown to chill before he came back for his trip to final destination. Just simply note that you get your SP at your point of entry. I am not a guru but from what I know so far on this study route, truth is that change of DLI outside Canada will mean to apply for a new study permit. This is clearly stated on IRCC page. Change of DLI can only be done inside Canada without getting a new permit since you are in already. But in your case, it is complicated because you do not want fall 2022 and I agree with you it's a very long time though. Pray for a positive response before 7th of September or you painstakingly defer to the next intake. God will help you to make the right decision. You can also await for more advise from the gurus here. All the best to you. Olacherry: 2 Likes |

But I think every school have that online option na. And in your case it is easier cause you already have your visa approved. So why not ask them to move you to virtual for this first semester, that way you can take your time to travel in late september or October. Las las finish the first semester virtual even in Canada, then when you register for your second semester then you can join the hybrid mode of delivery. If you really want to defer to next fall, your stamp validity is for 1 year for you to enter Canada with it. Since it is prolly going to be stamped this August or early september ( depending on when you sent your PP for stamping,) so you have 1 year to use it to come into Canada and noting you can only enter Canada 1 month to your session resumption ( this has been since Covid restrictions) However, you will need to get your new LOA and send to IRCC to inform them, i guess that should be your basis to apply for the extension of your visa when you have entered Canada. I will advise you send a mail to people like Justwise and Frank on this platform, so they can advise you better too. All the best. honorableron: 1 Like |

This should not be a problem. My friend landed on the 24th if August at Toronto airport, got her SP there and could not get her SIN cause she landed late. Then proceeded to Calgary ( her school is University of Calgary). Also considering she is fully vaccinated so there was no quarantine plan. so if she had friends in Toronto that she would love to see, no one will stop you shaa. Just ensure you get your SP and SIN, cause for me this should not be any issue at all. Gottigoodgood: |

Wow, congratulations to you on your approval. Just to ask, your second refusal came on the 3rd of June and you re-submitted on the 28th of same June. So did you get your GCMS notes before reapplying,? Did you get the admission at UCW in that 2 weeks or you had applied there while you were waiting for your second decision? quote author=Clairene51 post=105186742]Long post My first time posting but I hope my testimony encourages someone here Program: MBA ( Fall intake, 2021) School: UCW. Vancouver, BC. PPR: 24th August 2021 After my BSc in Govt and Public admin, I thought I should just move to Tech since It was clear I didn't want to be in academia or politics. I applied to Dalhousie University for a BSc, got admission in less than a month. Feeling eager to take over Canada, I read through the Lagos office requirement and applied on 18th July 2018, submitted an empty application (na Neco, Waec, First school leaving cert, etc full there) The second correspondence for that application came in on 7th September 2018 and wow, I remember I was in school then, rounding up my defense and preparing for my clearance when the mail dropped. The refusal reasons were on Travel history, Purpose of visit, Home ties, and Personal assets. After the first refusal, I got Frankrobbn email from NL and sent my GCMS to him (I think he wasn't charging then) after he reviewed it, he told me it was workable, then asked me to go for a course related to my BSc and sent some scholarship links to me( I told him not to bother because I'm not reapplying) he said okay o, just like that♀️. 2019-2020, I got the courage to reapply. All the schools I applied to (Msc) boldly refused me, got frustrated, and decided to leave everything and go do my Nysc... 2021, a family friend guided me. She gave me all tips she used in her successful application but then “No application is the same”. I applied on 18th March 2021, and that faithful morning of June 3rd, 2021, the second correspondence dropped with the same reasons as the first refusal. I gave up trying and canceled everything about Canada the day I saw the refusal. I called some agencies that were in charge of UK applications so we can kick off asap... Only for me to wake up the next day and started thinking of Canada reapplication... My mind went straight to Frankrobbn1, he gave me the cold acceptance (aspa coconut head applicant) but this time I no send, I begged o, He sha listened and pointed out my mistakes in my Sop, and documents in general so the next thing was for me to go convince my parents that I wanted to reapply for the third time. They accepted after many explanations with conditions of having a plan B( I got admissions from 3 different UK schools, and booked a late date in Aug for my medicals). I paid for Frank's services and we started from changing of school to UCW. When it was time to reapply, Frank reviewed all my documents, flagged down some with reasons, and we finally submitted them on 28th June 2021, upfront medicals passed 7th July, same with eligibility, no update till 24th August, PPR dropped Here's my timeline to the last application (in no particular order) DOCUMENTS 1. Letter of Introduction from your employer. 2. Copy of Applicant’s Family Members Birth certificates. 3. University's Unconditional Official Letter of Admission. 4. Copy of Applicant's Birth Certificate, 5. Copy of Police Character Certificate, old one) 6. Waec 7. Copy of Applicant’s International Passport Biodata page, 8. Copy of Applicant's family picture. 9. Letter of explanation addressing the concerns of the visa officer concerning the last refusal grounds (prepared by Frankrobn1) 10. NYSC discharge certificate 11. Degree certificate 12. Transcripts 13. Deed of gift documents. 14. IELTS Certificate. 15. Study leave approval letter 16. Work ID 17. Resume 18. MBS 19. Board resolution letter for my sponsorship 20. Dads company Cac document 21. Article of Memorandum 22. Particulars of directors 23. Sponsors landed properties 24. Company performa and sales invoice 25. Sponsors two company account MBS with sole signatory letters 26. Tax clearance I had challenges which were; First, my 4 years in the university, we were called political scientists and I submitted my first application with the name but after my clearance, I was handed a Government and Pub admin cert... Secondly, my funds were enough but the company account(which seems like a 3rd party sponsorship) IRCC said I was mobile and single blah blah. I must affirm that Frankrobbn1 of (fandrglobal.com) is professional beyond measure, he takes the hardest immigration cases and handles them with highest attention to detail, and to customer service. I disturbed him o (na 24/7 busy man) so you have to always remind him... God pass IRCC It will surely go round #Mapleland here I come # if God is for me, who will be against me Nobody![/quote] 4 Likes 1 Share |

You need to be very careful with this selection. I see people saying it is college certificate and I do not think so. Other studies may be the right option since there is no option for post graduate certificate. However ask a guru you know directly to advice you. All the best. MEDOLAB: |

Hello @Eilenora, My inquiry is as regards travelling with your children. 1) did you tick yes that they would accompany you in the family form during your SP application. 2) if you ticked no, did you inform IRCC before your travel that you would be travelling with your kids that are US citizens? 3) did you do medicals for them since they would be spending the timeline would would be in Canada with you. Thanks as I wait your feedback. Congratulations on your husbands application success. Eilenora: |

Yes true. That was my reason of posting it too as i was buttressing on the point someone made about errors from the VOs sometimes as mine is obviously a clear example of such errors. The final decision definitely did not represent my application at all considering I submitted my degree certificate for bsc and my LOA for post graduate cert. More so the initial assessment even said logical progression of study, so the final decision came as a shocker hence my own case was also a clear example of such errors in review from them. However, i sure addressed the concern in a letter of explanation. I am praying for the best right now for me and everyone waiting for a decision. makano: 2 Likes |

I totally agree with you about the errors. My application was refused saying that I had a higher degree than proposed study . I actually have a Bsc and going for post graduate certificate. Even my LOA that was confirmed from school has all the information. See my pre assesment note here and then the refusal was a shocker. These people do make errors really but it will always end in Praise for us fairlytreated:

Wow, this is so heart wrenching to say the least. My own pre assessment note was so positive but was eventually denied for purpose which further says my degree is higher than what I was going for. I have a bachelors degree and going for post graduate certificate yet this reason. God will perfect this for us and you cannot give up. RollyA: 1 Share

Hello everyone, I will like to get your thoughts on this. So I studied Geology in my first degree, I have worked in an oil servicing company for some years as a completions Engineer ( Petroleum Engr. related). Now I want to do my Masters in the UK. I actually wanted to go for Petroleum Engenineering but we know oil and gas industry is not booming at the moment and that could limit me in terms of job. I have actually applied to some schools for Civil and Environmental Engineering, and also Environmental Management for Teeside. I have gotten unconditional offer from Teeside for now. Still waiting on the others. My question is, what would you advise I actually go for in terms of versatility for job. Please I will appreciate your sincere advise on this environmental studies. Also I am open to other choice of study that is really on demand practically. 1 Like |
