A law needs to be passed in the house of assembly where people cannot just open churches and say things.

Kenya practised this. It working so we'll for them. This public redicule of the christian fate must end.

Not all Tom, Dick and Harry should be allowed.

Religious freedom…his own interpretation of the Christian Faith. Let God be the judge of the true Christian Faith.

In an extreme scenario, a truth serum could’ve sufficed, why beat them up like this na? Besides, can we rely on any evidence procured through torture. Men under torture can “confess” to anything, including crimes they didn’t commit! FSB officers no do well o. The faces of these suspects don reach Hell com back. Haba!

blackboy:
His story. Fact or not, killing the soldiers simply spoilt their case.

How did they know the soldiers were coming for their chairman? What proof? Their speculation led them to make à big and evil mistake.

And if you look at the rank of the soldiers that were killed it does not look like they were going for operation to arrest or kill. It is too low a job for such high ranking officers. It looked more like a team of senior soldiers with their boys going to talk or try to get respect and settle something. But were ambushed. Surrendered and tied then executed.

Your perspective is thought provoking. If it were true that some community chiefs had earlier been killed, it could also stand to reason that the soldiers (reacting to prevent an escalation) might truly have been on a peace mission and then tragically slaughtered!

Nigerians need real solutions, not gossip of when the president goes to bed and wakes up.

The change in policy and manner of the FX backlog settlement under prevailing conditions boost investors confidence. It isn’t propaganda!

Kaycee9242:
How much is dollar rate now

The best of macroeconomic policies takes some time (at least a year) to yield intended results. However the movement of some key macroeconomic variables can show us whether the policy will achieve its goal or not. For instance, if an economic policy effects rising External Reserve, it’s a good sign we are moving in the right direction. The Naira value will not go up unless you build a large External Reserve.

I agree with you that the dollar rate is too high, but we need patience. And Tinubu needs our prayers!

Politics / Re: Restructuring: Nigeria Has Only Two Options—anyaoku by Volksfuhrer(m): 9:43am On Mar 19
For an African country, a Federal Government with 36 federating units is too big! 37 civil services will drain resources necessary for capital projects. No wonder recurrent expenditures perennially outstripped capital expenditures. How do you develop when much of government revenue is spent to maintain personnel and their office operations. Regionalism is the way forward.

Politics / Re: BREAKING: Security Agents Know Bandits’ Hideouts - Gumi by Volksfuhrer(m): 8:36am On Mar 19
According to Gumi, “bandits are just marginalised Nigerians, who don’t have access to education, good roads, water, and other social amenities.” What type of deranged argument is that? There are millions of law abiding citizens in the North living under same conditions who didn’t become bandits! The reward system espoused by Gumi and his likes is responsible for escalating chaos in the North.

A lot is wrong about Sheikh Gumi’s moral compass. Why can’t Gumi (an Islamic cleric) be brave enough to tell these bandits to desist from banditry, that Allah forbids wrongdoing!

The modus operandi looks very much like IPOB. Kill then mutilate or eat the body.

It could be anybody. We can never be sure it’s IPOB until a thorough investigation is carried out to unmask the culprits. I don’t believe there’s any shortcut to justice!
Politics / Re: IPOB Terrorists May Be Responsible For Killing Of Nigerian Soldiers In Delta by Volksfuhrer(m): 6:58am On Mar 19
The soldiers were killed and their bodies defiled to provoke a desired response. Any group with a vested interest in the area could’ve done it. A proper investigation should be carried out before innocent lives are unnecessarily wasted.

So, I have to be lower cadre before half salary paid every 3-4 months negatively affects me?

Meanwhile, his security operatives who were guarding the banks could not stop the hungry people he created by not paying them, who then now came in my farm and harvested all my yam and cocoa which I am indeed sentimental about, and making it uneconomical to farm in Osun State.

Sorry, but I don't own a bank. If I did I too would be sentimental about him not letting it get robbed.

Aregbe was a great champion amongst Osun State Governors. You people have truly over-flogged the salary issue. Development of Osun State infrastructure for millions of Osun State Citizens came at a cost: yea, the belly of a few senior civil servants! But with the benefit of hindsight, and without sounding insensitive to these gallant civil savants, you should still be happy that the sacrifices weren’t in vain. Or are you not proud of the schools Aregbe built and the roads he constructed. The returns on these investments will continue to accrue for generations yet unborn!

Explain the DNA research by Di Giacomo and other scientists, which reveals Japanese genetic descent from NIGERIANS.

What evidence surpasses DNA?

The question is not IF they got to Japan. The question is when and how.

How does DNA evidence necessarily imply the op's claim that "Benin people conquered Japan in history?" Please elaborate.
Politics / Re: How Benin People Conquered Japan In History (vid) by Volksfuhrer(m): 6:10am On Feb 10
The "evidence" in the video isn't solid enough. Nothing definitive.

I'm not outrightly rejecting the hypothesis. I believe more work is needed to settle this.

Politics / Re: For 57 Years, The South East Have Watched Other Regions Destroy Nigeria by Volksfuhrer(m): 2:10pm On Sep 20, 2023
gidgiddy:

Then that means nobody was better than Ironsi. If you come to power, and you could not do better than who you replaced, and end up doing worse, you lose the moral right to criticise the one that did better than you.

As for Ironsi concentrating too much power at the centre, how is that possible when we had 4 Regions that were controlling their resources

Today we have 36 states with no resource control.

The "4 Regions that were controlling their resources" became provinces under FG overlordship. Whatever the "regions" became or possessed on the face of the decree were at the FG's discretion, after all Nigeria had become a unitary State!

That Ironsi had not created States before he was ousted didn't mean he wasn't empowered to do so. Ironsi's Unification Decree made him supreme commander over every nooks and crannies of Nigeria!

If Ironsi could abolish the Civil Services of the Regions by the stroke of the pen, what could have stopped Gowon from creating States with the same pen. Ironsi was power hungry, period! He created the monster that others used to destroy the country. He was also guilty!

Oh really? So why didnt those who came after Ironsi not remive the decree and take us to the next level? Today you have 36 states, poverty capital and 8th most insecure country on earth, none of which was existed under Ironsi

If you could not do better than Ironsi, no point criticising Ironsi

Gidgiddy, you are better than this. ChiefJusticeFuc's posts should enlighten you.

Ironsi concentrated too much power in the FG for selfish, South East agenda. The North saw through this, violently removed Ironsi and inherited his super FG powers as spoils of war!

How dare you suggest they give such power back? It's theirs to wield as they like for their own benefits, just as Ironsi wanted to do. There's no way you can extricate Ironsi from this mess.

South East created the pathway
to the said destruction through Ironsi's Unification Decree. So, South East were the founding fathers of Nigeria's destruction!
