Do you know swearing in tinubu is suspension of the constitution?

Please explain.
Politics / Re: People Who Mentioned The Words "Interim Government" by Volksfuhrer(m): 11:41am On Mar 30, 2023
In simple English, Interim National Government is a coup. Any ING has no constitutional legs to stand on. It can only be imposed, but who will impose it? The military? You see, a bunch of losers cannot sit down somewhere and decree that an ING be imposed on the country, especially after an election winner has just been announced.

Yes, there were protests about the presidential elections. But it is also true that aggrieved parties have gone to court. Therefore, let us allow the constitutional process over this matter to conclude logically.

Interim National Government is an aberration we don't need now.

. I have not seen, read nor heard a single positive review of the election in any credible media in any country of the world.

The elections that produced Yar'Adua in 2007 was terrible, it wasn't cancelled. Let The Supreme Court decide the matter, the case is already in court. That petition was In bad taste, especially from a renowned professor of International relations.

The Professor did not write this.

But if he did, that piece he wrote was irresponsible of him...He wanted the election cancelled?!!! To preempt the military from taking over?!!! All because of deep seated hatred for Tinubu?!!! Incredible!

The "do not vote Yoruba Party" hypocrite speaks. As if we are ignorant of his actual history before he joined LP in 2022.

The proven poster child of ethnic, religious and sectional bigotry now wishes to remove his toga of divisive hatred, he has won proudly his entire political life, because he is desperate to lead Nigeria asunder as President.

Obi is a repellent and sadistic con artist. Nothing more and nothing less. I am.just glad he will now have no choice but to retire to his bigoted enclave to practice the unprogressive politics he has always being about. We reject such in our national politics same as Lagos resoundingly rejected his bigoted son Chinedu Gbadebo.

I agree with you...Obi is a con artist, an unadulterated Yahoo guy. Are his followers too dumb to see him for what he is?

Obi is obviously schizophrenic. This man ran the most religious presidential campaign ever. This consummate ethnic and religious chauvinist now pirouettes shamelessly to admonish Nigerians to "rise above ethnicity, religion and sectarian politics in matters of governance..."! He surely needs an appointment at YabaLeft.

Are there other reasons for this besides the same old tribal politics?

Yes, it wasn't originally about tribe and religion. But Obi's brazen, sectarian presidential campaign has flipped the movement into a religious and tribal mission.

Obi will never be President unless he repents. Nigeria is too diverse for such narrow-minded politics.

I already stated that everyone cannot be agbero at the same time.

The numbers were never on your side frankly speaking. Obi won in Lagos State because many Yorubas also voted for him. But the same spirit wasn't replicated during the Governorship elections. Simple explanation: many Yorubas that voted for Obi were not necessarily LP supporters.

My brothers let me clear your doubts. You guys are too laid back and love staying in your brown roof republica and hardly have time to travel and see what is going on in other parts of the country.
Alaigbo is not for lazy, smelling, hydraulic soup guzzling, ewedu eating foools. You must have money before you buy land in Igbo land.

Very wrong. Yorubas do indeed travel. They are in many West African countries. Some even go through the South East on their way to Cameroon and Gabon. They've been in the North for many generations long before Nigeria was born. So what the heck are you saying?

I've been to the East, I have many Igbo in-laws and friends. You are discriminatory to non-natives when it comes to land matters. I understand, our historical attitudes to land are different. But living in denial does nothing to resolve this perennial allegation against Alaigbo.

The enormous power ascribed to Tinubu over every sphere of our social and political fabric is mind boggling, if not ludicrous! Haba, "Tinubu and his men" (whatever that means) did this and that...he influences all the the governors; he pockets all the banks; he controls INEC, and now the Judicial Commission! Na was o. grin

Nothing new here, and January 1966 comes to mind. The Coup planners were "Nationalists," the Coup executioners were ethnic chauvinists. Some of the Coup planners eventually realized they had been duped into an ethnic agenda.

Thousands of Yorubas who voted for Obi believed they were creating a new dispensation, only for many of them to find out they were "useful idiots" for a tribal mission.

Which one is courted Igbo bloc votes?

Anyway, the plan failed because both ethnic groups suffer a high degree of insecurity. Many igbos do not feel secure voting APC. Some Yorubas in Lagos have been formatted to avoid whoever Igbos want.

I chose my words carefully. I didn't say "Igbo votes" but "Igbo bloc votes." When a candidate comes along to rally a non-Yoruba group in order to win a Gubernatorial seat in a Yoruba dominated State like Lagos, you think the Yoruba's will not rally back. GRV did not even help himself with his past tweets which some Yoruba's find insulting. Many Yorubas who voted for Obi In the Presidential elections did not vote for GRV. Why?

It has never been about GRV. All these things you guys did to him, you did same to Jimi Agbaje. If PDP or LP give you people Oduduwa's grand son as their guber candidate, una go still trace his ancestry to Igbo.

You still don't get it.

GRV and Jimi Agbaje used similar tactics. They both courted Igbo bloc votes in Lagos...and failed.

I have absolutely no interest in it; I'm just being honest about the facts. How much worse has it gotten since tribal profiling entered our political system. I'm not even Ibo, but this is just a warning to other southern tribes that the Yorubas are up to something. It would be exposed to everyone in the upcoming months.

Yoruba's have no agenda against anyone at all.

They are generally accommodating and laid- back, but you'd court the vicious side of their DNA when you insult them.

Amen. Developments like this gladden my mind immensely but also saddens me deeply because we see how quickly and without noise this was delivered.

One now begins to wonder what could have been if Buhari prioritised the delivery of this in his first year as Preaident over 7 years ago.
...

The problem with our leaders is the energy with which they pursue developmental projects. The must important resource of a great leader is time. Buhari's presidency could have been different if he had delivered this 7 years ago.

I completely agree with you.

Leadership is all about vision. It has nothing to do with private sector experience. Most world renowned and successful leaders were never technocrats.

I don't trust GRV's vision. He is divisive and doesn't think things through before acting. A brash leader is no leader at all. GRV needs time to mature and remedy his mistakes.

In any case, SanwoOwu may not be perfect, but he is still better than the rest.
