Politics / Re: People Who Mentioned The Words "Interim Government" by Volksfuhrer(m): 11:41am On Mar 30, 2023 |
In simple English, Interim National Government is a coup. Any ING has no constitutional legs to stand on. It can only be imposed, but who will impose it? The military? You see, a bunch of losers cannot sit down somewhere and decree that an ING be imposed on the country, especially after an election winner has just been announced. Yes, there were protests about the presidential elections. But it is also true that aggrieved parties have gone to court. Therefore, let us allow the constitutional process over this matter to conclude logically. Interim National Government is an aberration we don't need now. |

kelechi50: The elections that produced Yar'Adua in 2007 was terrible, it wasn't cancelled. Let The Supreme Court decide the matter, the case is already in court. That petition was In bad taste, especially from a renowned professor of International relations. 1 Like |

The Professor did not write this. But if he did, that piece he wrote was irresponsible of him...He wanted the election cancelled?!!! To preempt the military from taking over?!!! All because of deep seated hatred for Tinubu?!!! Incredible! 1 Like |

Obi is obviously schizophrenic. This man ran the most religious presidential campaign ever. This consummate ethnic and religious chauvinist now pirouettes shamelessly to admonish Nigerians to "rise above ethnicity, religion and sectarian politics in matters of governance..."! He surely needs an appointment at YabaLeft. 2 Likes |

Yes, it wasn't originally about tribe and religion. But Obi's brazen, sectarian presidential campaign has flipped the movement into a religious and tribal mission. Obi will never be President unless he repents. Nigeria is too diverse for such narrow-minded politics. 121 Likes 5 Shares |

mployer: The numbers were never on your side frankly speaking. Obi won in Lagos State because many Yorubas also voted for him. But the same spirit wasn't replicated during the Governorship elections. Simple explanation: many Yorubas that voted for Obi were not necessarily LP supporters. 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: Twitter Challenge : Name One Estate Owned By A Yoruba In The South East by Volksfuhrer(m): 9:44am On Mar 24, 2023 |
FreedomArmy: Very wrong. Yorubas do indeed travel. They are in many West African countries. Some even go through the South East on their way to Cameroon and Gabon. They've been in the North for many generations long before Nigeria was born. So what the heck are you saying? I've been to the East, I have many Igbo in-laws and friends. You are discriminatory to non-natives when it comes to land matters. I understand, our historical attitudes to land are different. But living in denial does nothing to resolve this perennial allegation against Alaigbo. Kindest regards. 7 Likes 1 Share |

The enormous power ascribed to Tinubu over every sphere of our social and political fabric is mind boggling, if not ludicrous! Haba, "Tinubu and his men" (whatever that means) did this and that...he influences all the the governors; he pockets all the banks; he controls INEC, and now the Judicial Commission! Na was o. 1 Like |

Nothing new here, and January 1966 comes to mind. The Coup planners were "Nationalists," the Coup executioners were ethnic chauvinists. Some of the Coup planners eventually realized they had been duped into an ethnic agenda. Thousands of Yorubas who voted for Obi believed they were creating a new dispensation, only for many of them to find out they were "useful idiots" for a tribal mission. 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: Sanwo-olu Sends Strong Message To Rhodes-vivour, Jandor After Election Victory by Volksfuhrer(m): 8:00am On Mar 20, 2023 |
Acidosis: I chose my words carefully. I didn't say "Igbo votes" but "Igbo bloc votes." When a candidate comes along to rally a non-Yoruba group in order to win a Gubernatorial seat in a Yoruba dominated State like Lagos, you think the Yoruba's will not rally back. GRV did not even help himself with his past tweets which some Yoruba's find insulting. Many Yorubas who voted for Obi In the Presidential elections did not vote for GRV. Why? 2 Likes |

SWATMan: I don't trust GRV's vision. He is divisive and doesn't think things through before acting. A brash leader is no leader at all. GRV needs time to mature and remedy his mistakes. In any case, SanwoOwu may not be perfect, but he is still better than the rest. 2 Likes |
