Something about dreams.
Somebody said of how they head a cooing sound in the dream only to wake up and find a 'demonic bird' cooing and they nearly killed it.

Sleep is a state of semi consciousness and sometimes whatever happens around us as we sleep can affect our dreams. Examples

During my college days we used to have these huge rats in our rooms and one day in he dead if the night one huge rat fell on my bed and was confused trying to escape. The ticklish feeling of r mosquito net on my skin I realized was exactly what I experienced in the dream right before the electrocution.
