Meanwhile some governors in the north, south south and southeast built modern airports from the scratch to finish without any collaboration with the federal government or the World Bank and with far less revenue than Lagos. Many states built brand new functional universities, but LASU was built in 1982 by Alhaji Lateef Jakande. They couldn't even maintain it. Security is in collaboration with companies operating in the state, with each company contributing to security funds periodically. Public schools are 'adopted' by private entities for renovation and refurbishment. All these in a state with huge 'IGR' o.

He also owns the company that collects Lagos revenue called Alphabeta and earns 10% of whatever revenue is generated in Lagos, that means when Lagos generates 400 billion per year, this criminal takes 40 billion . His daughter is the Iyaloja controlling revenue generated in the large markets in Lagos. He is now the single largest owner of properties in Lagos State, just by extrajudicial acquisitions by Fiat!

If not for this evil man, Lagos would have been a lot better. Go to the mainland and see how millions of people are suffering from horrible roads, flooding, refuse, lack of Pipe borne water etc. etc. But his children are busy buying condos worth millions of dollars in America.

If Nigeria is a sane soceity, this evil man would be serving life sentence but he is here insulting our sensibilities that he wants to rule Nigeria. He is now using the same humongous loots to buy hungry people to his side.

His legacies and landmarks are just everywhere in Lagos, till today about 40 years later!

Ask any adult who is at least 60 years old about how Lateef Jakande governed Lagos in the 80's. Trying to compare Tinubu's 8 years of lacklustre performance between 1999 and 2007 is grave injustice. While you can still see Jakande's legacies all across Lagos, same can't be said of Tinubu who only left as governor in 2007. I won't bore anyone by rehashing Jakande's legacies because they're too many, instead I will leave screenshots of them.

To Nigerian youths, particularly those in Lagos, don't allow propaganda and utter lies being promoted by fifth columnists to deceive you. Please ask questions or make your own research, Tinubu is not fit to untie Baba Lateef Jakande's shoes talk more of trying to compare his great 4 years as governor to that of Tinubu. Stop confusing yourself, having a block vote gives a region maximum advantage to any party they favour than regions that split their votes. Only SE, SS and NW gives block votes in Nigeria. However, NW is going to split theirs in the next election while SE and SS are still likely to retain their block voting in favour of Labour Party.

Let me break it down for you, if a region has 3 million voters and split it into 2 or 3, each party may be getting 1 million votes while another region that has only 2 million voters but decides to give it to one party, then they're more important!

In 2019, only two Northerners were contesting, and non of them was inspiring so you don't expect Southerners to come out en mass and stand under the sun or rain to vote them, they would certainly prefer to stay at home and sleep. However, 2023 is different, we now have a credible candidate who many believe has what it takes to change the system for common good. The numbers Southerners would record in the next election is going to be unprecedented. North having more numbers is a myth as proven by the lastest record released by INEC.

Also, except Kwankwaso doesn't chicken out, Northerners will be more lethargic to vote in 2023 after Buhari dashed their hopes badly.
