Jehovah overdo has done it again, to the glory of God Almighty I welcome my princess around 2:30pm weighing 3.2kg with shikini tear.... Labour was so short and bearable till the last minute.. Mother alive, baby alive, daddy and big sister super joyous.

Good day beautiful Mamas,my jenuary teammates how is the journey going hope you are all doing ok.. please I have a question,I went for anti_natal yesterday, when the doctor saw me and saw my record she was like your tummy looks like someone having twins or you are close to giving birth and I am Just 30weeks, anytime I go out people will be addressing me as mama twins, because the tummy is very big and all d 4scan I did shows is one baby,but the doctor said is just my tummy that is big not the baby,I am scared, please how can I reduce the tummy,or what can I do to make the tummy go normal,it's even going down now

You shouldn’t be scared mamaa, not everyone will have a small/moderate bump.. there was this lady in my antenatal class eh! I would have sworn she was having quAdruplets cos that’s the longest bump I have seen in my life but she gave birth to a baby that wasn’t even so big.. please relax and rock your big bump (mine is too big too
So far the doctor has said you and baby are okay, no wahala

Hubby and I use to joke about how this pregnancy bump is smaller to my 2 previous pregnancies and I was also happy about it, but I never knew wot the bible meant when it said your latter end shall be greater than the former....Omo this few weeks had d bump shooting out from no where.

Haha, this my bump is the biggest so far , people actually call me mama ejima.. I’m fine o mama, i have been booked for CS by next week, just praying to God and rounding up every every.. we shall all testify in Jesus name,Amen! Take care of yourself

I had my Lo at 37weeks 2 days. There was no breathing issues. Though she was given an injection (through me)before delivery.

37weeks+ already, am not even sure if na me they push bump again abi na bump dey push... Insomnia deals with me most nights imagine waking up around 1-2am and am like that till daybreak+ I will have to get up 5:30am to prepare for work and prepare DD for school , plus my hype active 29months old toddler..... Hubby is alone available on weekends, I know it's God that has been keeping me moving.

I hate to look at the mirrow now cos my face is super black, I careless about how I look now jare my only focus is to deliver with ease like the Hebrew woman.. Then u people should help me beg small boss in d womb to teasing me with on and off contractions..

Good day to all mama in house! Firstly, I will like to appreciate everyone contributing to thread. So far, So Good. baby to vomit that's she still getting used to the feeding. The vomiting continue for 3days. We call our Gynae again and she said it's normal. Though our baby doesn't have High Temp, No fast breathing, She was breastfeeding, and everything is okay but just the vomiting and it getting too much. But
We went to get it done, and the results came out, everything is fine, but the impression show she her enemy as a (Mild Gastrits). We started breastfeeding her again as instruct by the Dr. This time she'l doesn't vomit and we are happy. However, she still vomiting small small but not like before especially the time interval.

The reason for my long message is am just worried and I know I could get some insight from here regards to the situation. I believe God will take control! As the hospital is trying their best too. (Plesee excuse all my grammatical blunder)

Thank God baby is better now, God will perfect her healing.. does your wife rub her hands at baby’s back after each feeding to make her belch? I think it’s important too and i think it’s impossible for babies not to throw up some milk sometimes, atleast for now..

My baby is presenting breech at almost 38 weeks
We have been advised for an elective CS so I won’t go into labor and experience pain and still have to do the CS
We will be going this week for it as soon as we can.

This morning after my long rant here, i decided to tell dh my mind. So he went to meet the guy and also called their elder sis.


They seem to be trying to use emotional blackmail. After hubby called the elder sis to tell her he cant stay, they have been calling to beg. Saying he is abandoning his brother that let him stay till December atleast, bla bla bla. How would you make such plans and tell us you are coming to stretch leg. I dont understand. Hubby told them he is not having such conversation and he has to leave tomorrow morning. I have decided that i wont talk about it again, i will ignore till i put to bed. Then i will refuse to leave the hospital till something is done. The person begging for him to stay lives in a mini flat with just her son here in lagos too. Why cant she accomodate him? Hubby sha said its impossible as he cant allow same if it was from me. So he cant dish what he cant take

Let him go biko! Some inlaws can overdo, I’m sure if tables were turned, he won’t accommodate you.. You don’t have enough space in your home and his stay will cause wahala so let him leave while his siblings contribute money to get him a small apartment..
The one i housed for one year, went to my back to say i was starving him! A close to 40 years old man that i was feeding thrice a day

Yes you should go with milk cos you might not lactate immediately, i always go with Nan
You can give baby for a day or 2 while still putting him or her to breast then discontinue when you establish enough supply if you want to go for exclusive breastfeeding

good afternoon Sabi Mama's, I'm 33 weeks today, decide to go for scan also and was measuring 38 weeks full term. baby is measuring 2.79kg already. according to LMP and first scan, my Edd is 18/21 November while today EDD is 13 October. I'm just confused, I don't know what to think because the gap is much. should I be worried?

I’m not sure you should be worried, doctors always work with LMP, scan can do oversabi.. I’m 33 weeks today too and as at 31 weeks my baby was 2.6kg and Edd changed to October too but doctor said he doesn’t have any business with scan that we’re working with LMP..

Update: I have met the doctor in the hospital I use. The doctor said epidural is 100k aside the hospital bills that.
I will gladly go for it if it will have no side effects.

39 weeks and 3 days today, saw egg white discharge yesterday as if I was ovulating but early this morning the mucus plug came out with strips of blood.

Why are some parents mannerless? A woman with 4kids in my school(1 in primary school, and 3 in my own section [secondary]) came early dis morning and started creating Scene o,just cos d kids were sent back for owing last term school Fees..... Immediately I saw dis woman shouting at d top of her voice I just went back to my office and refuse to come out even when other staff were calling me as d V.P Admin... I came out after like 30mins and was attending to another parent when this woman faced me and started shouting o, Omo I don't even know where d annoyance came from and I gave her a piece of my mind before I was forced to enter d office. U owe gbese na u still dey make trouble, dis same woman is owing a colleague extra lesson money.....now after d whole shouting I don dey get on/off cramps abi na contractions since.

Make God save us from trouble maker

Your doctor is absolutely right.
We were in the same circumstance.
My doctor ((a consultant in gynecology) advised me the same.
His reason are (1) To avoid uterine disruption etc
Yesterday (23/9/2022) was 37wks 3 days
My LO was born via CS.

I just checked google too now and I saw 38 to 39 weeks, can you ask your Dr why he wants baby out before 38 weeks? Me honestly want 37 weeks for myself but Dr is saying 38 is what they do. Forget what your friend said o, 37 weeks is full term so you dont have to worry yourself at all.

He said it’s to avoid uterine rupture, i will go with the doctor’s advice..

I met with my doctor on Wednesday and he said he won’t want us to get to 38 weeks before he carries out the Csection (this will be my 3rd)
So i told a friend and she discouraged me, saying the baby might develop issues if she comes at 37 weeks..
I’m now confused o cos even google advises 38 39

You can get a nipple cream (it’s safe for baby) or wait it out to heal.. sorry mamaa
