You are almost correct but I don't really see myself as a religious person like I haven't been to church for years now, I just believe that there is a God somewhere and say my prayers every morning.

I rarely go to church but when I do it's definitely Jehovah's witness because my spirit aligns with their teachings like this is how Christianity is to be and practiced but let's not go into all that now.

I am not going to force any religion on my daughter, my parents didn't force one on me. They allowed me to choose my path same way I am going to allow my daughter choose her path.

In a nutshell, I don't really fancy religion
Your ideology about life in general was exact as mine. Do you reply to PM?

That boy needs beating to reset his head. Your hubby is not helping matter. If he knows his presence can't be felt in the house, especially for that 17years old boy stealing, then he should return him back to where he brought him from

That boy needs a manly figure that he'd always be scared of. Give him a marathon beating with punishment. I swear it does help. He'd always think twice before stealing, knowing fully well what the outcome would be.

Do everything within your reach to make the boy stealing get your hubby attention

Probably those he stole from should come arrest him when your hubby is around, or better still they should come to give him a resounding public disgrace when he's around. This will definitely get his attention and by then you can chip in one or two possible means to curb this act of his for your kids sanity

That boy needs real beating seriously. He'd change if i handle him.

Getting married is a choice and if you don't want to, it's perfectly okay. However, whatever you do, don't be a wayward father. The child's self esteem will stem from how you treat women. Let her know that there's more to life that being a good wife. Tell her that regardless of her gender, she can be anything she wants to be in life. Tell her that it's not cool to refer to women as "bitches", "vagina people" or "that gender" cause they are human as we are. Tell her to always voice her opinion even in a society where it doesn't seem to count. Tell her to look beyond the stigmatization of Nigerian girls and pursue her dreams head-on. Tell her to be careful with the boy child but know that he's not an enemy.
Brilliant input.

TMTR:

Hello, good day cheesy,

https://www.nairaland.com/4538476/want-adopt-child

y'all remember the thread I created back in 2018 ,well I did succeed adopting a child, I adopted her from a orphanage and I will say my experience during the process of adopting her was really difficult than I Imagined, first I was a single young guy not even in my mid twenties yet and I had tattoos and lil tjay and lil baby kind of hair styles (those familiar with them will know the kind of hair style I am talking about grin) oh mhen the stereotyping was off the roof, what did they not say, is it been called a ritualist , mhen I was suffered by the abusive words that was unleashed on me by all those women but I didn't relent and finally after everything I succeeded,

At one point , I wanted to go with my mum at least to show that I had no ulterior motive but then again I thought to myself, you can do this on your own and I am glad I overcame.

I began the process in mid 2018 and it was not until it late 2018 that my application was granted, I then proceeded with the rest formalities and I took my daughter home, she was 3 when I adopted her .

The first thing I did when we got home was to change her wardrobe, I took her shopping and bought two big boxes filled with clothes and shoes, also bought some female toys and other stuffs.

She was shy at first around me but with time ,she got used to me and became more free with me.

Mehn I must say so far adopting her was one of the best decision I have ever made in my life , I even tattooed her name on my arm, made me more responble in a way cheesy

And also in addition, chicks dig babies, like babies are like ladies' magnet. I never believe those statements to be true till I got my baby, like mehn you need to see the attention I get because of her, I mean we get because of her.

Don't get me wrong, ladies trip and drool over me before she came into my life but the amount of attention I get before her more than doubled cheesy. Before y'all start thinking this is the major reason I am happy I adopted her , let it be known that this is the least reason why I am happy..

All-in all she is God's blessings to me and I bless the day that I made the decision in adopting her.

She is such an Angel and a darling

I love her so much

Fatherhood is sweet

A friend was telling me yesterday that we can't get a job. Not even the unemployment that got me.

Like the way he sounded, he had given up all hope on this country and sees it as nothing for graduates to be unemployed

He literally laughed at me, coming top of the class with all my suffer head. Nothing to show for it.

You better drag your sister's ears now! Nigeria is the worst country to have a good heart. I learnt it the hard way. When I was in school, I was very naive to the point guys and babes used my head. Right from when I was on campus, even to when I started staying off campus, I suffered. Then I was receiving enough money cos my elder brother was sending me enough, added with the one pops man gave me. But my wicked roommates and neighbors took advantage of my shyness then. Then I could never say "no" to any request by someone from me, be it financial or food. Chai! I suffered o. In fact, apart from school fees, I was the one practically taking care of my roommate; from feeding to clothes and shoes. All the stuffs in the room was mine. I was bearing it until the day we fought over plates he always used and left for me to wash, despite the fact that I was the that cooked the food with my own money. After I heard the rubbish he said to me that day, I packed out and rented my own space and stayed alone.
So abeg, tell your sister to use her head. Personally for me, university friends are one of the fakest friends, and the worst friends you will help in life. Because to most of them, they are the sharp ones using you. They don't see it as help and as social interaction and networking. Since I left school, I have been the one checking up on most of them. Though I know a lot of them are stalking me, especially on facebook in order to know my progress in life, just to see if I have blown so that they can come and bobo me and finesse me. Ndiara!

Oga, you've been brainwashed into thinking your mother's love is unconditional. In fact, I was once like you until I became a man with responsibilities. It was then I knew that our fathers were trying .

They might not have been perfect o, but baba, dem try no be small.

While our mothers were busy painting them black before our tender minds, they were out in the rain slaving and toiling like madmen just to make sure there was food on the table and a roof over our heads . And to me that is the ultimate sacrifice any person can do for another.

So guy, I can never be able to reject my father's love . And as much as I don't like my father in terms of somethings he did , he is still the number lover of my life irrespective of whatever
Your definition of love is in Monetary terms. There's no point educating you futher

Good day!
Family › Re: Fought With My Dad Today Because I Caught Him Pant-down With My Mum Friend by VTJN(m): 12:25pm On Sep 05, 2021
Ammishaddai:
I understand , but in christianity it's the father's blessings that are regarded ; a mother's blessing is rarely considered and is often believed not to have any effect .

Secondly, you also need to drop that notion that your father is irrelevant. Because he is ,and he probably loves you more. Have you ever thought of the pains he goes through just to provide for your and your mother ? Just because your mother is always there doesn't mean she loves you unconditionally. A father's love is strange, but it can be just as fierce as a mother's
I still don't know which Christianity regards fathers blessings and disregards that of the mothers

I never said fathers doesn't love their children. But you can't compare that to the love of the mothers. It's uncomparable.

The only true love ever in existence is that of the christ who gave his life for mankind

The only person who will ever truly love you unconditionally is your mother. Have you ever wondered why most children bent on loving their mother more than their father?

Take religious aside, hope you know that alot of women went through and are still going through hell in some men's hand all in the name of marriage? Do you know the nonsense our mothers went through from the hand of our fathers? Our customary law isn't solid enough. Marriage doesn't favour women in Africa. Particularly, in Nigeria. Why? because of the calibre of men they breeds. Men claimed they are polygamous in nature and have the right to sleep around.

Some mothers are even contributing financially to the upkeep of the family. Gone are the days that it was solely the men. Even though biblically, the women are not supposed to work but to look after the home. The irresponsibility of some men had made alot of women took it upon themselves to look out for ends meet. Some women are even the breadwinner of their family

No where in the Bible nor Quoran disregard the mothers blessing in favour of the fathers. Go and meet a Muslim scholar and pastors they will affirmed it to you. Women are the pillar of the home, salt of the nation, mothers to all men out there.

Respect every woman. Young or old, big or small.

Nevertheless, that doesn't give a child the liberty to disrespect or hit his father. That's totally wrong.

I'm only addressing your supposed claim about fathers. A father that can elope with another woman, a father that can abandoned his wife and kids for another woman. A father that can claimed to be polygamous in nature and automatically began sleeping around.

The same Men who travelled to the developed countries upon arrival dropped their naija mentality.

Guy forget am o. Na this naija we follow dey o. We know how men behaves.

Take it to the bank, Mothers are uncomparable to fathers.
Family › Re: Fought With My Dad Today Because I Caught Him Pant-down With My Mum Friend by VTJN(m): 11:01am On Sep 05, 2021
Ammishaddai:
Bro, you need to take it easy . And secondly, you need Godly counsel right now , so I'll give you the little that I know of .

Number 1. Polygamy has always been a part and parcel of the African culture and the best way of dealing with it is through prayers and patience with God .

Number 2. Fighting your father is not the right way to handle the issue and it can invoke curses on you . If you don't know this , let me tell you now: in this life , it is only your father that is capable of blessing or cursing you. This means an utterance (positive or negative) from his lips can alter your life now and in the future, and trust me , it won't do you any good if he speaks a curse against you (...just believe what I'm saying because I'm speaking from experience) .

Number 3 . It is best to settle with him now because biblically , it is the right thing to do and it is written " do not let the sun set upon your anger "(Ephesians 4:6)
.

Do this and remain blessed
Peace
I heard it's the mother who can prophecy (positive or negative) into one's life and it will definitely come to pass and not the father

The mother carried you for good nine months and beyond, risk her life to birth you, breast feed you for years, nurtured you, sleepless night, cared for you and many more. Some mothers forfeited their career, their purpose in life, their goals et al just because of their kids. Please tell me which man or father on earth can do that?

A father doesn't play all these roles. Even islam confirmed it that your mother is the channel in making heaven.

A man can abandoned, forsake or even denied you and your mother. A man can denied impregnating a woman. But a woman can never denied her foetus. She can never denied the child she risk her life for

Our mothers pay the ultimate price not fathers

Btw, I'm not justifying what the guy did. But your claim that his father is the ultimate source to his eternal life is what i found wrong

Also, this guide would highlight the following;

1) A list of 75 Universities/Colleges in U.S/Canada that don't demand IELTS/TOEFL as test of English requirement (26 for Undergraduate and 49 for Postgraduate studies). Most of them just ask you to complete a duolingo test, which is easier and faster to write and pass. Not as complicated and expensive as IELTS or TOEFL. A couple of these schools even waived English tests completely if you had your prior education taught in English but just assume you will need duolingo. If you come jam the one that waives English test completely, na your luck. I will show one of such school that waived English based on this, and it is not the one I already showed you in my last offer. Then another 74 schools that don't insist on IELTS/TOEFL.

2. How to get FREE assistance with securing admission (agents charge N150k - N300k for this), with 3 of the 26 schools mentioned above for undergraduate studies, and 4 of the 49 schools mentioned above for postgraduate studies. You just fill a short form of consent, drop copies of your credentials and requested details and go and relax and wait for your admission letter.

3. Where and how to get student loan of up to $50,000 if you get admission with any of the schools mentioned in No. 1 above plus a webinar replay access link so that you see with your koro koro eyes that this is no joke or hype. You will hear from the horse's mouth.

4. How to get FREE assistance with securing your student visa (agents charge N400k-N800k for this) after you have secured your admission and study loan application approved. I am talking about U.S or Canada study visa.

If women were the gender with the more power and men the majority victims of rape, they won't deem it necessary to constitutionally out law rape like men do now. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, paternity fraud is just as bad as rape; basically taking what is precious to another, forcefully or by deceit.
