Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Are Your Experiences With GNLD??? by Vulcanheph(m): 8:12am On Dec 02, 2021
I've actually had three experiences...

The first was in 2015 , I was working but I had issues with the job and wanted to get a job Before leaving, this was before I knew anything about the scammers called GNLD, I called them to find out about it and a man told me to come to their office for the "interview"
, When I got there and listened to their cock and bull story, I asked them where the factory is and they then told us that it's actually a marketing job, while showing us pictures of people who were sponsored by the company to Dubai... After a while , I discovered that it was a sham and left....
The second time was in 2017 when an old classmate of mine who told me that it was an "free empowerment seminar" , I had rushed there hoping to maybe learn a small skill for a minimal amount... When I reached there only to discover that it was GNLD with the usual stories, I just stopped by the door and left and told the hungry looking manager that I wasn't interested.
The third time was actually out of boredom, when I never knew that the job adverts on Facebook were shams... I went to attend what they said was actually a "hotel job interview" only for me to reach there and see the usual stories... I simply played along and even wrote their fake exams, then some hungry looking guy came out and introduced himself as the director wearing an expensive looking suit (which looked obviously borrowed)... He came and gave us a mind blowing speech about how he is making millions and we can do the same and when he asked if any of us wants to leave , I got up and left (which really shocked him since he felt he's got everyone by his lies).
I just pitied the people that remained, Because they don't even know that it's all a sham

I think she's beautiful natural... Men like you who body-shame are the reason so many women feel insecure... undecided

Scars, cellulite, and strechmarks and acne... They do NOT make you ugly... They are a part of you...to be loved too!

Skinny or fat... Short or tall... Dark or fair...

You define beauty! kiss

For someone who's had to deal with body dysmorphia... This hurts.
When you girls do it by calling any guy short, ugly, big head etc ... It is ok
But if a guy does it , you ladies call it "body shaming".

DOUBLE STANDARDS.

Let's not forget that Nigerians are migrating all over the world and are commiting crimes and scams in every country they invade. Black Americans are no way commiting crimes on a global level like Nigerians. Take that plank out of your own eye.
I never disputed the fact that there are bad eggs amongst us Nigerians but don't forget that for every 1diasporan Nigerian committing crime, there are dozens more who are legitimately makei g a living.

Don't also forget the fact that every country irrespective of race has it's own fair share of citizens involved in crimes.
The reason why the stereotype is so high is because tend to always do things extremely well either good or bad .

African American and rest black root have that discriminative attitude to Africans, they feel they are more superior and advance than Africans also majority of them are into one form of gangsterism or the other which most Africans have that fear of relating with them. thank God for African and Nigeria music's that have been accepted globally which made them to start relating to African root and feel among. Jaycee on d keys
I agree with you.

You're right, most black americans always feel superior to native Africans and kind of always disassociate themselves from them despite the fact that they're of the same race, even Africans born in diaspora have just recently started to accept and identify as Africans due to the rising popularity in African cultures, music, cusines etc.
The bridge caused by the African Americans and the fact that most of them tend to be aggressive, violent and have a tendency to crime has made native Africans to tend to move towards white people who despite the racial difference tend to be more accommodating.
Let's not also forget the fact that Black americans due to the history of slavery and racism they faced from white people in the past has caused to a certain degree a slight resentment towards white people, therefore white people who might want to associate with black people will find much easier to relate with native Africans much better, and as such this will cause more relationships between white people and native africans, which will in turn lead to more interracial marriages between white people and africans.

RomanceRe: Is It Right For A Man And Woman To Split Bills On Their First Date(photos) by Vulcanheph(m): 1:44pm On Nov 24, 2021
walkbrazil4k:
well, i am old school and I believe a man should foot the bills on a first date with a woman, but it would also be nice if the woman offers to add something but i would still refuse, what do you think

https://www.walkbrazil4k.com/2021/11/is-it-right-for-man-and-woman-to-split.html
Personally, I feel the guy should be the one to pay on the first date but there's no problem if the girl wants to split the bill or pay part of it. ( That act alone can earn a woman lots of respect).

However, The problem isn't about who pays but another thing entirely ( and this applies exclusively to Naina girls).
Naija girls tend to see relationships as a poverty alleviation scheme.
Ask a naija girl out on a date and she'll want to order food that will feed her whole family.
They forget that first dates doesn't necessarily have to be in fancy or posh place, it also doesn't necessarily have to be a restaurant.
First date is just an means to know if there's a connection, chemistry, compatibility etc between the two people.
These means that whoever pays isn't much of an issue.

Most Naija girls will never volunteer to pay on a first date because they are too busy ordering excessively and also because they feel that paying is solely the man's responsibility.

PoliticsRe: CRUDE OIL: A Blessing Or A Curse To Nigeria. by Vulcanheph(op): 3:18pm On Nov 22, 2021
backbencher:
Is oil a blessing or a curse.

1.Nigeria's problem is that the main source of our income is exporting raw materials. The problem is, we don't control the prices of those raw materials, nor do we set their prices. And the prices are always never at a level that can sustain us.

2.That is the problem with oil.

3.When we got independent, agriculture and mines were the main source of our income. Oil was just one of many sources. However, the problem was that our agriculture and minerals were not profitable enough by the 1970's. The sudden increase in oil prices in 1973 was what helped us hide our problems.

4. Even then, oil as I said , suffers from the issues of a) price never being at sustenance level b) it isn't enough for all of us.(Saudi has 1 oil barrel for 3 persons. Nigeria has 1 oil barrel for 80 OR MORE persons)

5.Ultimately our issue is that we don't use our raw materials for industrial development, and making exportable industrial goods and services. We export oil, and import things we should be making, at a higher value than our export revenue...which is why we are in debt.

6. At the end of the day, oil is a curse because it prevents us from using our talent and our brains and our resources from making stuff that would earn us a lot of money at a price that we can set. That is how china went from being behind many African countries in 1972 to being the lender of the world right now.
You seem to get my point.

Only a madman will still want to marry a Nigerian woman after JAPAing from this hellhole.

There are many reasons why no sensible Nigerian guy in diaspora will settle for nigerian woman .

1. Marrying a Citizen of that Country means that you have better chances of settling in this country.
2. It will be more difficult to cater for the expenses of transporting and supporting a wife in that country
3. Marrying a foreign woman means no unnecessary bride price etc.
4. Most Nigerian women are too materialistic and have a high entitlement mentality... I could go on and on.
