Position: Accounting admin
JOB FUNCTIONS/ROLES
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the bank's accounting system.
• Monitor cash flows and ensure that funds are available for operational needs.
• Prepare and submit tax filings, regulatory reports, and any other statutory financial reports required by regulatory bodies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budgetary spending and identify areas where cost-saving measures can be implemented.
• Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and guide the allocation of resources within the bank.
• Track and manage loan disbursements, payments, and delinquency rates.
• Collaborate with loan officers to assess credit risk and ensure that proper due diligence is conducted before issuing loans.
• Prepare reports on the performance of the loan portfolio, highlighting potential risks or areas of concern.
• Oversee expense records to ensure spending aligns with the bank's budget.
• Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.
• Verify invoices and receipts before processing payments to vendors and service providers.
• Provide financial reports and updates to management, stakeholders, and board members.
• implement internal control procedures to safeguard the bank's financial resources.
• Ensure all financial transactions are processed according to established policies and best practices.
• Continuously review and improve financial processes to reduce risks of fraud and errors.

QUALIFICATION:
HND/BSC Accounting/ Business Administration or any other related courses
Knowledge of Bankone Software will be added advantage
Two (2) years experience is required
