Yewandequeen:Hello Yewande, I am looking to get this device for my mum. How has your experience been with the phone and how much did you get it for? |
tosaino95:I'm saying I tried already and the app did not detect the earbuds. Do you know a way to make it happen? @Soothsayer Also. Have you ordered from Aliexpress before? I'm interested in the T13 and I wonder the cost to get it to Delta state. |
TheSoothSayer:Sorry man, Please when you resume stop listening to music at a high volume. Nothing is worth having an incurable ailment. BTW. Will jumia offer refunds for a product that is by a seller (and not the official store) when the product says shipped from abroad? I am considering the Haylou T15 |
tosaino95:It's the first thing I did with the very first Edifier TWS pro I got and it didn't even detect the device. I was afraid that it contributed to the problem so I didn't install it again by the time the second set arrived. |
I got the X5 and immediately knew that the TWS 1 Pro don spoil me when it comes to quality. The Pro has "Cleaner" sound. Damn you infinix Zero 6!!! |
Hello Guys, I am seeing different Galaxy buds+ with different prices on Jumia and Konga, Why are there different prices? Are there differences or is it just the case of sellers trying to get the advantage? |
TheSoothSayer:I don't know o. I am still looking for a solution here. I believe it is the bluetooth codec, I went into developer options to change the codec to AptX but it doesn't even change, It goes back to SBC immediately. |
Badgers14:Love your analysis, You're right here. His man management needs work but he doesn't seem to have the time for diplomacy |
mctfopt:I had the same issue with two sets of the TWS 1 pro |
Got my Edifier X5 today. Same issue. I went to different forums and posted for help. Only one person on a forum helped me try to trace where the issue comes from. I just wanted to post the results of an experiment I ran this evening. So here are the results of the test I just ran. I took a fourth device. A Xiaomi Redmi 9C which runs android 10. 1. I connect the Earbuds and make a call and I can't hear anything. Then I press the volume down key and I hear the ringing. 2. I switch to my Infinix Zero 6 and I make a call and I can hear the ringing. I press the volume down key and the sound stops. 3. I switch back to the Redmi 9c and repeat step 1, the voice comes back. 4. I connect to the Zinox Zpad 7 (Second device in original post) and it works. I press the volume down button and the volume up button and it still works. 5. I repeat step 2, same result. |
mikkycoins:How much? |
Jacku:How is the call quality? |
TheSoothSayer:Okay, if my refund is approved, I will go for the X5 |
hoilakes:Infinix Zero 6 |
hoilakes:I have ordered the return of the earbuds. I wanted something that allowed me to make calls and I wanted something I could test and return if there was any faults unlike what you get when you buy from different shops. |
Ifeanyi4491:Wow. And there were no reviews talking about the problem anywhere before you bought it? |
If you connect your data to your laptop using your phone WiFi or modem, then your Windows 10 may be responsible You can also check http://hsi.glo.com/HSISelfCarePortal/ To be absolutely sure that no one is eating your data. I sub for the #3,000 plan and I get 17.2 Gb which lasts me for a month using only my PC. The same plan would not last me for 15 days on my phone because of Instagram and Google Chrome. |
Lalasticlala please move this to the front page. Thank you. ![]() |
Before buying any device online, I check through reviews on every site I can get reviews from. If it is a mobile phone, I will check reviews on GSMArena and Nairaland threads dedicated to the phone. If it any other device, I will check Nairaland threads and also Amazon and Aliexpress reviews. Reading reviews are the best way to find faults that may not manifest on the device until 2+ months later. However, I am currently experiencing a problem with a gadget I just bought; some earbuds. I decided to go for what was touted as the best Earbuds under $50 in the market: The Edifier TW1s Pro. I got it from Jumia for 13,599 naira. When It came down, the earbuds worked fine. But there was one problem. I could not hear anything once I clicked the dial button to make a call. I could not even hear the ringing tone that tells you whether the recipient's phone is ringing. Here is a post describing in detail the process I went through to try make sure the problem was from the earbuds and not from my phones. https://www.nairaland.com/6303636/head-phones-earbuds-thread/19#102978186 I tried everything. I tried three different phones. I Googled the problem, but none of the results addressed that specific problem. I emailed their support, and after describing the problem, they just referred me back to Jumia for their warranty. I returned the set I had and ordered another one. It worked fine, and then the problem started again. I have ordered another return, and I will get another model of earbuds. I know you're reading to this point and saying the problem is from my phone, but if you think that, click on the link to the thread where I posted my troubleshooting process. Another thing I noticed is that you cannot leave negative reviews on Jumia once you have ordered for the return of a product, so the reviews are skewed towards positive reviews only. Therefore, it is highly likely that someone else faced the same problem, returned the device, and could not leave a negative review to warn others of the possibility of such a fault. I want to hear from you. Have you ever bought a device that had a problem so unique that you could not find the answers on Google, and you could not see any one sharing the same problem on any reviews online. |
I have used two cheap (relatively, they cost 6000 and 7000) and I never had these problems, I only spent this much money for the call quality and it delivers on the quality but what is the use when the sound randomly goes off? |
TheSoothSayer:Can you recommend something else? |
anonymousey:This answer is not sufficient. So I will find out the shipping fee before or after I've paid you? |
TheSoothSayer:I had to connect it to the third phone for the sound to come on and the sound only came on on the second try. Three devices just from my end. No device should operate like this on any end |
anonymousey:How much is your shipping from Lagos to Delta state? |
WackyJ1:The problem is back, I will be initiating another refund. The last time it came back, I disconnected and connected to another tab and it worked fine. This time, it is not working both on my phone and the tab. |
Redpanter:It's working fine. Convenient how you skipped the post where I detailed my troubleshooting process. |
TheSoothSayer:Na wa o, See the way you're talking about my Stellio player disrespectfully. Chai, you even misspelled the name. I will check out the Jet audio and it better be up to the hype o. P.S. Can you share equaliser settings that can help me get the best out of these earbuds? |
TheSoothSayer:Checked and everything seems to be working. The only issue is that the touch controls don't work for my music player. Stellio Player. It is an issue unique to the player, not the buds. Any ideas on what might be the issue? |
TheSoothSayer:It works well now. Tried it again. I will keep checking. |
It starts sounding on a call then it goes off after the second ring tone and that's it. |
New Edifier Same problem.. |
TheSoothSayer:One of my ears has a smaller hole than the other one, so I switched the ear bud for one ear and left the there one the same. I will try to change both when it arrives again. BTW What makes the TBNS one better than the TWS1 pro? |
