[quote author=Abiyamọ]Good People In The House, I Was Just Arguing With My Australian Friend Now That The Woolwich Killers Are Not Nigerians, We Dey Drag Am, Drag Am So I Decided To Kuku Check The Constitution On Who A Nigerian Is And This Is Actually What The Nigerian Constitution Says, Chapter III, Section 25:

25. (1) The following persons are citizens of Nigeria by birth-namely-
(a) every person born in Nigeria before the date of independence, either of whose parents or any of whose grandparents belongs or belonged to a community indigenous to Nigeria;

Provided that a person shall not become a citizen of Nigeria by virtue of this section if neither of his parents nor any of his grandparents was born in Nigeria.

(b) every person born in Nigeria after the date of independence either of whose parents or any of whose grandparents is a citizen of Nigeria; and

(c) every person born outside Nigeria either of whose parents is a citizen of Nigeria.

SO, THE DUDE IS ACTUALLY A NIGERIAN, ABI NO BE SO? Wetin una think? lol!

Everything about them is UK as they got no influence from here. Call them Nigerians if you like but the truth is that UK turned them into what they are today.

Whoever is supporting GEJ is a fraudster including Mimiko - I was thinking Mimiko is a gentleman.

ZUBY77: Whether Amechi wins or not, Jonathan is staying in Aso Rock beyond 2018.
Amechi is not the most popular Politician in South South. It is GEJ. Amechi's victory means nothing to the entire South East, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Delta and Even Edo... Ileke Idi and Dayokanu and other super Yoruba lovers? Does Amechi's victory mean anything to you guys in the SW? Naa, i dont think so..
Amechi chose a very wrong time to contest for vice president, a time when his close brother GEJ is the president who also wants to return in 2015. Half of rivers state would naturally prefer a President from Neighbouring tribe/state to a VP from Rivers...
I dont hate Amechi or love GEJ but i am sure GEJ and Amechi must have discussed this before Amechi refused.. So the 10th law of power applies here.
''Crush the opponent totally because if you spare him, he might come back for you''

I dont know about you but i am voting GEJ in 2015 even though i am not PDP.
Clueless followers will always vote for a clueless leader...
PoliticsRe: Buhari, Tinubu, Fashola Lead Kaduna Rally by Wadeoye(m): 4:21pm On May 24, 2013
noblezone: Bros, it is not as simple as that:
When did the Boko Haram start?
Also, before the escalation of hostilities, there were promises from some Northern leaders that Nigeria would be made ungovernable should Jonathan or any other southerner win the election. They insisted that the President must be of Northern (Hausa/Fulani Moslem) origin.

As for dividing the country along political and religious lines, my position that Nigeria is a fraud has nothing to do with any riots:

A niece of mine wrote the national common entrance and scored more than 120, she was denied admission while some who scored less than 20 were admitted because of quota system and catchment area.

In my early days of graduation, I was asked to write my state of Origin at the back of the application envelop. The state of origin is an automatic qualification/disqualification as the case may be.

As for violence, the North is notorious for killing fellow Nigerians at the slighted excuses. the previous religious unrests you mentioned, why must they start from the North? What is wrong with the North? It is the North that has divided Nigeria!

that continued unrest in the North will weaken the North, is a fact that the Northern Leaders never thought of. They thought that violence will intimidate Jonathan. They have failed.

Perhaps in your conspiracy theories, it is Igbo Christians who killing and bombing churches in the North, shouting "Allah Ahkbar"!
Excuse me jor!
Answer those questions or shut up... You have not said anything until you answer the questions I posted up there.

noblezone: Bros, please oooo.

The last time that "thing" was chatted in 2011, I know how many of my kinsmen that were slaughtered.

Please oo, don't start that blood spilling invocation this time oo.

Enough blood has been split or you still want more?

The North has been on "fire" since I was a kid. the blood of the innocent has continued to flow in the North for every slightest reason. Those accusing Jonathan for being responsible of Jihardism in the North today are just being mischievous.
All previous violence were purely religious related and were easily curtailed by government because government didn't have a hand in it. This one is this protracted because some people in government have seen political benefits in continued unrest in the north. I have never seen a time when insurgents have this level weaponry and till today nobody has been arrested for supporting/sponsoring them. And how are the weapons getting into the country?

The following are products of boko haram unrest.

- it divides the country along both ethnic and religious lines. Who benefits from this?
- continued unrest in the north will weaken the north politically - who benefit from this?

Answer the above questions and you will know norther leaders have nothing to benefit from the daily insurgency in the north.

For igbos... Sensible and patriotic Nigerians know things need to change before we are all consumed by the decadence in the system.

PDP is evil and their supporters are devil incarnates.

Prof Corruption: You have to put into context the fact that his parents are Christians. The guy got converted to Islam in Britain. So this has nothing to do with Islam as practised in SW, Nigeria or in Nigeria as a whole or the guy being of Yoruba origin. The problem has to do with how such an evil indoctrination went unnoticed under the watchful eyes of British intelligence services. Infact, there's nothing Nigerian in the whole crime.
You think the fool will understand what you are saying? If Muslims in South West are these radical, will ibos be able to live among us with their noisy but empty church programmes and unparalleled criminal tendencies?
PoliticsRe: Buhari Is A Damaged Brand, By Bamidele Ademola-olateju by Wadeoye(m): 8:08am On May 24, 2013
Stevogue: General Muhammadu Buhari is a damaged brand, he cannot win the presidential election on any platform unless his brand equity is restored. Any people or group of people who wants to do this will have their work cut out for them, it is a lot of work but it can be done. Buhari has the best brand equity any human being would wish for until religion was used against him. He is upright, disciplined, honest, devout, frugal and patriotic among other superlatives.
Who damaged his brand?
A. The political elite
B. The educated elite
What damaged his brand?
He is disciplined: Those of us who were old enough, knew how we all fell in line under Buhari/Idiagbon’s War Against Indiscipline (WAI). The spectacle of civil servants who were publicly humiliated for lateness is still fresh in our memory. When he was in charge, everybody observed decorum at publics spaces by taking their turns. It was unprecedented in a country populated by oversized egos. Little wonder, the “do you know who I am” crowd do not want a return to an orderly Nigeria. They benefit from the chaos and indiscipline...CONTINUE: http://crimefacts.org/buhari-is-a-damaged-brand-by-bamidele-ademola-olateju/
Interesting piece... Compounding the situation is the bandwagon effect among our youth. They are too busy with football, drinking, etc that they don't have time to follow politics closely and read between the lines. I pity some regions in the south.

If care is not taken, a terrorist will enter into the midst Of APC gathering and blow all of them into pieces. They better start praying that SOE succeeds instead of making unreasonable comments.yeye people.
My people perish for lack of knowledge. They perish because they have failed to use their brain.

Can you tell me who will benefit from this boko haram insurgency politically? Gej or the opposition? If you can think for once about this, then you are getting to the root of the pepople behind this.

Note that Boko Haram will continue until 2015 purposely to castrate the north and kill opposition against PDP. The reason amnesty didn't work - I knew from day one amnesty will not work. The aim is 2015 and the killing, etc will continue until 2015.

A stable and peaceful north is a threat to some people.

Nigerian military no more the nation defenders...

1. The Nigerian military turned into political charlatans of GEJ administration
2. By using the military as a tool to achieve his devilish 2015 plus….. 6 years agenda.
3. Harassing, killing innocent Nigerians in a simple bid to curve insurgency (BH) created by same man to achieve this agenda.
4. Unprofessional and crude approach by the military to tackle small but elusive targets like BH guerrilla fighters. (Killing a mosquito with an axe!)
I know with certainty that the only person benefiting from this whole drama is GEJ. No northern leader or politician apart from PDP is benefiting from this stigma the Boko Haram menace has created plus the destruction of their own already poor infrastructure.

You can imaging what will happen in south west if FG manages to give the evil security contract to OPC. Someone will come and say the governors or Tinubu is the one sponsoring violence here?

All accusing fingers should point in the direction of politicians in Abuja. It is all political.

Nobody should come here to list fighting boko haram as an achievement. They created it in the first as a decoy.

Secondly, we won't vote for GEJ in 2015 - he is corruption personified.

This is not to talk of the nationwide alliance involving people that matter.

Ozonna: That's politics for you. If you were in their shoes, you would do the same.

As for 2015 elections,i doubt if Nigeria will survive that election. Reason is if GEJ wins, Boko Haram will continue and if Buhari wins, under 1 week our 2.5m barrels per day will be reduced to 5000 barrels per day by militants. In fact i foresee a situation where there will still be lost of lives whether Buhari wins or Gej wins and our military will be over stretched.

Solution, let GEJ address the nation and NASS and call for a SNC before 2015 elections. For pete's sake, enough of the blood shed, we can't continue like this as a nation. The over 300 tribes in Nigeria should come together and discuss if we truly want 1 NIGERIA. Let whatever resolution made there be passed by the NASS without any debate since its clear they don't want to amend our constitution in any way.

If GEJ convenes SNC,it means his name will forever be written in Gold. He'll still go ahead to become he President of a new prosperous Nigeria/Southern & Middle belt Nigeria/Biafra & Niger Delta/Niger Delta.

Biko enough of this senseless killings
Interesting, igbos keep amusing the rest of us in the south. What do you mean by Nigeria/South? I would rather go with the north in a new Nigeria than peer up with Ibos.
