PoliticsRe: Fashola Blames Okada For Damoche’s Murder by Wadeoye(m): 7:52pm On Mar 02, 2013
This statement goes to show Fashola's sophistication in governance. Here in the UK and even in the US, you often see and hear politicians use an incident to promote a government piece of legislation and to drive home their message why it is highly needed. And it helps keep the issues at the fore front and people continue to discuss it and expose themselves towhat the legislation is all about. It has achieved success for most of these politicians down here and no doubt this is exactly what Fashola was trying to do.

His message about community policing by the citizen is very important. A situation where some particular people will go to the village and bring 15 people back with them to lagos to come squat in the name of doing business, hustling etc and after a few days you can't find them anymore. Yet people are wondering why crime in Lagos is suddenly on the increase. Those that live in that neighbourhood should rightly inform the police and security agencies so they keep an eye on such peeps.

This was how people from Akwa-Ibom invaded the GRA in Benin with their brothers and sisters all in the name of squatting and doing Okada business during the day and the once very peaceful GRA with its lovely greens became a zone of constant robbery!
Most nigerians are naive especially those village monkeys from SE. Obama is today pursuing gun control because of an incident in the US. What should stop a governor from pursuing a ban of okada now that they have become an instrument of crime?

PoliticsRe: GEJ For 2015, Your Opinion...? by Wadeoye(m): 12:40pm On Feb 28, 2013
chukwudi44: GEJ will most likely win in d entire SS/SE and states in d north like Benue,plateeau,taraba,kogi.nassarawa.buhari will most likely win in d entire nw,ne and the sw states with the exception of lagos.votes will be evenly distributed in state like lagos and kadunna

Whoever will win will depend on the percentage of votes gotten from the opponents stronghold.finally it is the total no of votes that counts and not the no of states any candidate won.

It is basically SS/SE/MB vs NE/NW/SW
GEJ will win Nasarawa like he did in 2011 - the only state Buhari won for CPC. Keep deceiving yourself. With the alliance, pdp will find it extremely difficult to win even two more state in NC apart from the hell hole called Plateau.

You amazed again when you talked about Lagos votes to be evenly split between apc and pdp. How? As the days draw nearer, you will see more than clearly that Lagos is fully owned by Yorubas and no bastards will be allowed to polute our votes here. Lets wait and see - I am waiting to see a flat head animal coming to vote for pdp in polling boot.

dayokanu: Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna and Nwobosi are the beginning of Nigerias problems

Those Ibos soldiers are the people who brought us to our knees as a country

cdoffx,

Can you tell me any reason why Nzeogwu and co killed other regional leaders but spared all Ibo politicians?

Under the guise of cleaning corruption, they killed

North - balewa and bello

SW- Akintola

SS- Okotie-Eboh

But these Ibo soldiers found all SE politicians free from corruption

or why wasnt Azikwe or Michael okpara killed?
Give Igbos the opportunity again, they will do the same. We can see this from their responses to discussions on this forum and elsewhere.

The only way out of this is to ensure they remain followers until the country breaks. They must never be allowed to be president or vice president in Nigeria.

See their flat heads. Bakassi boys in Lagos - stupid lazy villagers. Energetic guys that should be farming in their south east villages to feed the people working in Lagos.

Send them to kirikiri with hard labour. The work they were running away from, they will do it in kirikiri.

I have told the okoro heads on this forum that we will close that market very soon. Dirty flat head creatures messing around in Lagos.

PoliticsRe: Why the Double Standard to judge Between Gej And Buhari? by Wadeoye(m):
take dat: This thread is premised on why there seem to be a double standard and I explained that its because one expect the president to show more consistency, decisiveness, forthrightness and honesty than any other, it doesn't mean Buhari shouldn't honour his promise as his integrity is also at stake but the president carries a greater burden of fulfilling a promise made than he(Buhari) does ! I'll refrain from going into whether Jonathan made a gentlemanly pact of not running for a second term or not, because you and I know the truth! I do respect the president's right to re-election as I did state on another thread where I got lashed for it!
www.nairaland.com/1202383/jonathan-agreed-one-term-president-obasanjo#14412288

I just do not appreciate a devious president!
And what do you mean by Buhari honoring his promise? Who promised who? Why should Buhari promise anybody that he would not contest again? Is his contesting hurting anybody? GEJ made a promise to the people he cheated that he would allow them to rule after one term in office. Those people wont be happy if he decides to contest again - meaning somebody will be hurt if he decides to contest against his signed promise not to contect.

Now, tell me why anybody should compare Buhari with GEJ's situation?

The case of Buhari is very different - he made that statement because he felt bad about the way things went few days before the election - with the alliance failing and people ignoring real issues and got carried away by "I had no shoes", "If I can make it, you can also make" - all those lazy deceptive words from PDP.

Buhari CAN'T decide not to contest if we want him to contest - the decision is not his but ours. He must contest come 2015 because we need him.
PoliticsRe: GEJ For 2015, Your Opinion...? by Wadeoye(m): 7:52pm On Feb 25, 2013
ilugunboy: I can assure you that the sentiments and mood that swayed the last election in favour of GEJ the last time has considerably changed especially in the S/W.

They gave him bread in that zone..he reciprocated with stone.

The election were mostly perceived to be flawed in S/E, S/S and the core north....without the votes from the S/W titling victory in favour of GEJ.. accusations and counter accusations from those zones with flawed election results could have lead to the implosion of the country...

..but that sentiment that worked for him then is virtually eroded now.

The S/E S/S and core North will still vote along the same sentiments like 2011..then the question is who break the tie this time around again....you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.. wink
And not only that, GEJ will stuggle to get 10% of the votes he got in the north in 2011 come 2015. This government worked towards the destruction and division of the north but the north seems to have seen this and the handwriting is on the wall already across the north. I see a president that wont even be able to campaign in the north come 2015 - it will be that tough for GEJ.

South West, no go area for GEJ. In the last election, there was general aparthy as only 35% came out to vote. 2015 will be different - people of SW will come massively in annoyance to vote out GEJ. I am waiting to see how the okoro heads will make GEJ the president.

4chi: All Africans are brothers. But that's where it ends. Yorubas and Igbos are mileeees apart. Ibos are of a crude stock, lacks refinement and appropriate social skills, are oftentimes unnecessarily aggressive, prone to whining and blaming others, TOO CRIMINALLY MINDED AND CAN SELL HIS MOTHER for money, has no discernible history prior to colonisation,no kingdom nor royalty, tend to always have a flat head which tends to explained why his brain is kinda mixed up. Has an annoying tendency of laying claims to what does not belong to him. E.g lagos, P.harcourt and Ikaland.suffers excessively from megalomania and porous self esteem, hates his origins and is always eager to dispense his "apoche" for an agbada or change his name to funny nomenclatures like paulinus, livinus or Rochas. Hates his land so much that his primary aim in life is to leave his barren origin for better endowed parts of the country e.t.c, e.t.c

truth4meal: is it not the same you that ditched the choice of Okorocha as vp for a Tinubu/Remi Tinubu ticket? in 360 you remember you are Igbo because someone exhibited the same act of bigotry which you earlier manifested. Igbos should indeed learn to support their own. If truth be told APC is the only party that can guaranty the emergence of a Igbo man as the president in a short while because if GEJ contested and maybe rigged and win - 2019 will definately be an undisputed turn of the North in PDP but if under APC a northern emerges in at most 8 years time the power will go to the south and am sure the igbos will have the nod. its a mathematics which the Igbo leaders know but bribery as blinded their vision. The choice is yours o - my people of the east.
Exactly my aim. An okoro man demonstrates with joy, hatred for other people and ignorantly forgetting that bigotry is not a monopoly of any tribe. As a matter of fact, a minority group will suffer more if we all begin to show hatred for the other tribe.

****No tribe has a monopoly of bigotry and hatred for the other tribes****

You are underestimating the brain capacity and the learning potentials of kids. Those kids can learn anything starting from age 2.

Do you know what it takes to learn to talk and understand what others are saying? It is more difficult than most of things we learn at older age. Hence, dont underestimate their brain.

drexx: Bro I just wish you would not be sentimental over this. Firstly why I think that Buhari is worse than Jonathan is because Buhari is an extremist. Is Buhari a statesman? Please ask yourself and answer objectively. Here is man who called onMuslims to vote only Muslim candidates at the recent elections. As if that was not enough, when
given the chance to deny the statement, he blurted
that he only said Muslims should vote for those
who would promote their religion! Is that not one
and the same thing? And true to it, he did his campaign only in the North. No. 2 "If what happens in 2011 should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon will all be soaked in
blood." - General Buhari. The above statement goes to show that Buhari is yet to be a democrat. It is a clear cut picture now that the upshot of the 2011 elections, I especially in the north, with the Boko Haram insurgents could be traced to the loss of the election by General Buhari. It is demeaning of an elder statesman, who was once the Head of State, to make statements indirectly inciting his supporters. Also Buhari is part of the north that has been ruling this country for the past fifty years and they plunged Nigeria to where it is today. What tangible thing can we point at as Buhari's achievement while in power. If you're talking about Fashola and this new generation leaders like Okorocha, Akpabio, Oshiomole. I would hear. Not Buhari pls
Thunder fire your bigoted mouth. How is Buhari an extremist? Can you define extremism? Is this because Buhari is a muslim or becuase he is desciplined?

I pity naive human beings like you.

'cause only a true iboman can save nigeria- the present retardeen is not IT.

Zik espressed the same sentiment 60-odd years ago with regards to Africa but till date, they haven't even saved themselves

yet, they want the rest of us to believe that ONLY an ibo man can salvage nigeria.
Thunder fire that your lousy mouth... Only yiboman can save Nigeria? How have Igbos saved their dirty states? I never knew Yoruba and Hausas are the governors of Igbo states.
PoliticsRe: Ohanaeze To APC - Field Igbo Presidential Candidate, by Wadeoye(m): 5:48pm On Feb 13, 2013
peckhamboi: Igbos are really a pitiable lot, it is obvious they don't have what it takes to rule the country, obviuosly from the state of underdevelopment and insecurity in biafra, coupled with inability of igbos to build a meaningful party of opposition right from independence that igbos have no agenda except that of grabbing power.

they hobnob and play political prostitute with who ever is in power, because they have no vision either for their region or the nation, that was y zik joined NPC, and all of a sudden the vision of NCNC a party founded by a yoruba man who made zik his secretary was taken over by igbos and destroyed with the usual igbo leadership visionlesness, selfishness and greed. thank God yorubas abandoned NCNC for them cos that was the end of igbo voice on the national political scene...igbos cant build a real party..

u can see that the igbos dont mean well for nigeria, that is why they want to support this failure called pdp and jonathan that has no direction just because they hope after jonathan they will be allowed to rule.

am not suprised zik and ekweme did the same thing, and joined with a party that had no vision whilst yorubas remained in opposition, after they will start crying marginalization

igbos have the worst leaders in the world, can you see this mumu, saying they will support jonathan so that jonathan will support them in 2019, even if jonathan wins in 2015 doesnt he know that power will go to the north in 2019 and will remain their for atleast another 8 years?

you see how igbo leaders right from zik, ojukwu, ekweme etc always lead igbos to military and political defeat and confusion,

igbos are not ready to rule ... the one that i was even thinking was different ie rochas has showed himself a typical igboman with trader mentality, and mindless grab for power,,. even before he was inaugurated as gorvnor, he wrote to all banks freezing to freeze imo state account and had to be warned by inec that he yet to be inaugurated as gorvnor after election, he keeps fighting and showing his power all over the place, the last time it was with senator anyanwu,

just behaving like a typical igboman that sees money and position as a means to lord it over others... fashola does not use siren, he stays in hold up no matter how serious like other lagosians. awo never stayed in govt apartment or take govt benefit, he always said what he cant enjoy at the level of his personal wealth he wont accept in public office

igbos cant rule, they dont know the purpose of politics or power, that is why they dont understand the beauty of opposition politics, they have never been in power yet they have never been in opposition, always begging complaining and whining,

the opposition may one day win power, or have a strong bargaining power, like when the nation was forced to vote for yoruba men in 1999, but when you play political protsitute like igbos, [people always use and dump u.

igbos are really pathetic, confused and primitive polticaly

PoliticsRe: APC Meets To Discuss Sharing Formula Tommorow by Wadeoye(m): 9:43pm On Feb 12, 2013
kafero: APC is a party formed to wrestle power (National Cake) from PDP! I think that says it all. Voting for APC will usher in a government that will be worse than PDP since the party was never formed to serve the Nigerian people in the first place. And that is why they are already sharing what they don't have yet.Their priority is who gets what and not how to turn this country around for good.
You are a fool... What is the essence of a party contesting an election? Is it not to wrestle power from a non-performing government? Of course you have to wrestle power to be in government before any other thing and GEJ government has made this possible by not delivering expected dividend of democracy/entrenching corruption in the system.

Now tell me how wrestling power will make the party not perform.
PoliticsRe: 43 Spare Parts’ Shops, Closed & Traders Arrested In Lagos by Wadeoye(m): 7:22pm On Feb 11, 2013
debosky: If it is proven that those traders indeed attacked lawful agents of the government, they should have the book thrown at them with the full force of the law.

There is too much mob mentality on display in Lagos - if you don't agree with a law, you challenge it through the valid channels. You do not resort to beating up officials who are only doing their job.

Instead of dealing with the issue at hand, some delusional folk are talking about people having 'virtually bought up' Lagos. If they have indeed virtually bought up Lagos, how come they can't pay 'chicken change' 100k levy?
Thanks - very intelligent but Igbos will avoid answering your question.

Those guys arrested should be treated exactly like miscreants which they are and the full weight of the law should be brought on them. Whoever is not happy should return to SE bush for spare parts business. How can you be doing business and you dont want to pay tax? How do these uncivilized villagers expect the government to function?
