They want to remove subsidy and increase tarrifs, because the amount of money we are earning from oil is not enough for our large population.

And it is from that money that we pay for subsidy on petrol and partial subsidies on power.

And paying the subsidy is forcing us into more debt.

Either we remove subsides, or we take more loans, or we raise taxes, and tax everyone, including people in the informal sector, to pay for subsides on petrol.

(And yes, I FULLY agree we should cut governance costs, and end corruption, but even then the money raised would not be enough to pay for the subsidy on petrol for one year)

They only interested in the areas that affects the citizens the most. A serious government should lead by example, when you say revenue is shrinking but you still want to keep your allowances and huge salaries, expensive pecks, exorbitant pensions to politicians, spending on frivolities then, you re obviously not ready. They still want to maintain their frivolous lifestyle, keep corruption but cut subsidies.... It clearly shows that they are not ready yet.

I've always thought no major city in Nigeria I.e Lagos, Abuja and PH is almost traffic free. "Rural cities" like Ibadan, Ogbomosho can't even lay claim to being traffic free.

Most traffic currently experienced in pH now re due to on going road construction, maybe truck broke down on the road or maybe weekend ikwerre burials which they would close a lane because they got no land left . Rumuobiokani were your office is located is mostly free. So if you get a house around I can guarantee you traffic free movement tro and fro.

Guy relax and forget about what you read in the news, truth is that there's insecurity in all part of the country but pH is cool and you ll love it. An easy going place almost traffic free. Except for our ode governor with loud mouth.

Not as driven as lagos so if you re looking for cool place with less rascality, easy going etc then pH is your kinda place.
