Actually, what you should be ashamed of is your own response and like you said, the information is out there for any one who wants to learn.
the fact the you say lights and interior fan (electrical systems that run off the car's battery) load a car's engine confirms to me you do not know what you're talking about.
those who want to know, are free to learn |
Car Talk › Re: 7 Myths About Fuel Economy by walcolm(m): 10:46pm On Mar 28, 2016 |
that roadside mechanic talk about AC being a load is in itself a myth.
the AC compressor is always connected to the engine by the fan belt. so whether you're actually using the AC or not, it is already factored into the car's fuel efficiency and its part of the engine
analogy: if your fridge is plugged in, if you turn the temperature to cooling or you dont, it will still use up your electricity. the difference is that when you ask it to cool, the cooling agent travels through the system to drop the temperature as it is using that electricity. the same thing is what happens with the car AC |
Car Talk › Re: 7 Myths About Fuel Economy by walcolm(m): 7:48pm On Mar 27, 2016 |
wapu: What about the AC myth??
That you save more fuel when you drive without an AC. It is a myth. When you drive without the AC you have to leave the windows open which will reduce aerodynamics and increase friction. More friction requires more fuel to overcome so you actually waste fuel when you don't drive with AC |

Of course the technical and finance department are aware (they only care about the revenue to the business) but customer service are not aware (officially) so they will tell you its not supported and encourage you to go with the more expensive BB10 data plans |

oloribabs: Actually,it is a very long story exactly like movie scenes. I did not see the both of them and I don't know the thief either. The 2nd buyer with the agreement of the 1st buyer decided to return the phone to me without collecting money from me. I will just say they have good hearts and God bless them So you're saying first buyer paid money to thief. Sold it to second buyer. First and second buyer then got together and agreed to return the phone to you The question is, how did they contact you? |

fashrola: Yeah it has been a waste... cos it's very slow to load new feeds, drains battery faster, I always use the default browser to check my notifications on facebook... but it's still VERY Important to me, cos it syncs all my facebook friend's birthday and events to ma calender and their number to my Phonebook... cos I can even chat with them via whatsapp since their number is synced to my phonebook
I love Face10 though... I even subscribed for the premium version, but the cons are:
1. No messenger like facebook for BlackBerry where u can chat directly from your inbox 2. Does not not sync your facebook contact to your calender and phonebook
I just want Blackberry to give this Face10 full authorization to sync all our contacts to calender and Phonebook... then it gonna beat facebook for BlackBerry hands down...
One more thing: I love the dark theme on face10 app Glad to see you're enjoying your Face10...i have not tried the app yet. i agree with you the facebook app integrates into the device the way a native app is supposed to Just so you know, as a paying customer you should communicate any new features you want to the face10 developers and now that facebook; the company has removed support for the native facebook for BB app, the face10 developers will have more leverage to convince BlackBerry; the company to allow them implement more features to keep BB users happy |

Yes, loading an older autoloader should give you the preloaded Facebook version.
the only question i have is why you guys think you need to use the Facebook app for Blackberry...its a very useless app and has been that way for a long time so why waste your time stressing over the app? |

Airtel has two plans that will work on BB10 devices....the 'complete' and 'unlimited'. they are both 3gb for 1400 and 1500 but on a BB10 device, the data consumption is DOUBLE and you will run out of data by the time you have used 1.5gb!!! |

It meets all your criteria: camera, speed and space more than any other BlackBerry 10 device 13MP rear camera, quad-core processor, 32gb internal storage, you can put a 128gb SD card and the device has 3gb RAM If budget is not an issue...you should get the passport |

BADNEAT: What's d best subscription for bb10 aside d glo bis glo has two data plans that gives 4.5gb for 2.5k or 9gb for 4k...now that glo has increased the cost of BIS to 1.4k and 1.5k for 3gb data plans, i'm thinking of switching to those regular plan and move away from BIS if you do the maths, cost per MB for the data plans are 54kobo/MB (4.5gb for 2.5k), 43kobo/MB (9gb for 4k), 45kobo/MB (1.4k for 3gb) and 49kobo/MB (1.5k for 3gb) |

Kay17: The question is whether a woman in a marriage owes her family any financial responsibility. Not whether the woman is to cater for her man absolutely. Don't confuse both. I like this clarification. I believe if a woman decides to work rather than face domestic duties fully, then any and every kobo she earns from her work belongs to the family just like any and every penny the husband earns belongs to the family The problem here is many women think because the husband is traditionally supposed to provide for the family, if the wife earns money she has to keep it for herself but the fact is that we do not live in the stone age anymore and that type of thinking is wrong Even if the husband is a billionaire, the wife cannot decide unilaterally to keep her earnings to herself and still expect a Happy home |

deyemia: The Person I Intend To Marry Just Told Me This!!!
Dear Nairalanders,
I've come again to hear your views about this issue.... especially married "Egbons"
So it all started like this, My new fiancee and I just finished a sunday service and I was about going to drop her at home when one of her single friends asked if she could join us which we agreed.
On our way they started talking all wife stuffs sharing their views on a marriage and shii, then one thing led to a financial topic where my fiancee started saying she can never support a husband financially, that a man should be a man and take all responsibilities of every penny to be spent, that the reason she's working is to be able to afford all the things she wants that all the responsibilities of the household is for the husband . I acted cool at first.
Her friend was even saying that she doesnt like to be a liability that at least it should not be the man's responsibility 100% that the wife should be able to support financially, My fiancee outrightly disagreed with her saying support doesnt have to be financial from the wife, that it could be through prayers.
I couldnt keep mute anymore I had to ask her "what does it mean when people say supportive wife? " she replied she doesn't know, that she's sure it doesnt have to be financial.
At some point when the friend had already alighted, I asked what if the man is building a house and needs immediate support for just window frames, she said never!
She even said if she has money in the bank and their is no food at home, we will all drink Garri.
Now here are the facts, -We got introduced through match making, -there are some good things about her that is worth consideration. -I dont think she has dated before because she obviously has no experience whats so ever when it comes to relationship behaviours. she's "efikko" kind of. -This her ideology seems deep rooted in her upbringing and family., her mum is rich.
My Challenge is, Should I stick around and try to change that ideology or just move on because I am sure it's a destructive ideology. If you like her enough to want to marry her YOU MUST address this issue before marriage....i made the mistake of not addressing the exact same issue from your post, it does sound to me like she's a bad person...the problem is only ignorance....part of your marriage counselling must include a solid financial counselling where independent and professional views are considered you can buzz me privately for further discussion |

Have you tried to measure the amount of data you used before you had to renew your subscription?
My measurement this February on the airtel unlimited BIS plan showed only 1.5gb consumed before the sim started requesting a new subscription?
And the 1k airtel BIS plan is a hit or miss on a BlackBerry 10 device!!! Some are able to use it and others are not |
