If Jesus as an adult wasn't baptised from age 18-29 years from his cousin John who he could have met at anytime (what was stopping him as he knew the significance since age 12), then anybody who does not baptise at exactly the same age (years , month, days ) is in the same predicament as infants who are baptised.

Rational objections;

Ah, but John also baptised other people who am sure were not exactly Jesus' age. . . .
Which brings me back to 3 questions;

1. So why can't it be possible that John also baptised infants and agric children (10 year olds and less but taller than your father)
2. Why did Jesus have to wait that long ? ( For those arguing on baptism based on faith. . . . fill in the gap)
3. So for all those pages saying household it means only adults.

following your logical line of thinking, was there any instance where baptism by sprinkling of water   was done in the bible?
even if a baby will be baptised, the bible baptism clearly shows it has to be by full immersion in water

Jesus not getting baptised until he was 30yrs was for a reason and has nothing to do with any logic you think you can come up with

a baby even though a 'sinner' due to Adamic nature is still innocent and does not need baptism to be saved yet

a relationship has to start from somewhere and i dont think a university relationship suceeds better or fails faster than a relationship started anywhere else, its all a function of the people involved

i'm sure there's no data to support any purported percentage of success or failure that some people have claimed here

It might be your location but I don't yet trust Etisalat and their so called 3.75G network. My friend bought the micro-sim for his ipad and in the office (Wuse Zone4) the 3G keeps going off and on while the browsing speed is nothing to write home about.

if you have a 7-lane superhighway(etisalat 3.75G network) with 1000 vehicles (subscribers) travelling through it per minute as opposed to a 2 lane highway with 15vehicles travelling through it per minute, which one is likely to have a hold up?

wuse and festac are built up meaning there will be more people trying to use the network from those areas. the number of base stations available to service them is finite so the speed drops as the machines try to accommodate everybody

I definitely need some advice on this issue too! It's not easy having to deal with different stenches from the mouths of people everyday. It used to be enough to just stylishly move back when one is getting suffocated but these days, the smells seem to diffuse even farther. Even from close friends. Damnation!!!

RIMM dropping rates has nothing to do with BIS charge, the amount RIM charges the networks is complete peanuts compared to the money they make.

data cost is a function of internet infrastructure available in a country. nigeria now has about 3 fibre optics terminating here and connecting us to the rest of the work, that is what is driving the cost down. remember Glo owns one of the 3 cables and can afford to push the envelope to edge out competition

the constitution states that a natural born nigerian cannot loose his Nigerian citizenship by becoming the citizen of another country. that said, hopefully, this case will get all the way to the supreme court and a final interpretation will be rendered to put to rest this citizenship drama

you guys must live under an airtel base station cos you are the only two people i have ever heard of who say Airtel bis is ok not to talk of being better than that of any of the other networks

how fast a network responds is a function of your location at times. try Glo and Etisalat but stay away from Airtel.

No Sir, I am not and I do not work for FRSC. I only support the idea of registering licenses to people and not to cars and capturing their data for future reference should need be. Most carnage on our highways could be minimized if traffic offenders could be weeded out. Some may argue that the system could be updated using the old number plate, but that would mean waiting for longer than 5 years to effect, but if all are forced to procure the new license, then the objective could be achieved faster.

Same thing happened when we changed from [s]Machine readable passports to biometric ECOWAS passport[/s]. We all complained and cried, but at the end of the day went for the new passport for those who must have it. I only hope that we wouldn't wait till almost a week to August 2012 before rushing to go for it.

It is a positive step by those who conceived the idea.

vehicle licenses are renewed annually and that can be used to update the database to attach a number plate to an individual rather than vehicle. i dont see how anyone can think swapping the last 3 alphabets with the first 2 alphabets on the number plate is a sensible and laudable event

pls, the international passport upgrade is not an analogy to this plate number scenario and just so you know, we didnt change from machine readable passport, we changed TO MACHINE READABLE passports to embed biometric information

So it seems Etisalat decided to revise the EasyBlaze plan and are now offering 200mb for N1,000. For a network that WAS a pacesetter in data and call rates, this isnt impressive. This market is supposed to be competitive not every other providers just managing to keep up with GLO. Shame

the reason why etisalat has not blown up despite their quality is because they only just do enough to get by and the other networks take their innovation and blow them out of the water.

if you consider that the nigerian market is so fertile and the 4 networks are declaring mega profit each year, then you will understand why the compettion is not fierce. the market is just expanding so there's no real reason to go all out

MTN went all out when it all started and they are still reaping the rewards today despite their excessive charges and crappy service
