texaco1: at last at last at last someone is beginning to reason and see the truth of what I have been hammering to ppl for months . Not everyone can be an importer. This business will only be profitable if you can invest big in it. But buying items of 200$ and waiting for 2 to 3 weeks before getting it ,whereas you could have bought the same item from kbm or mayorall and make reasonable profit without having to wait for 3weeks. Which one is better?but the nigeria mentality of I want to be my own oga won't allow ppl see the reason in this. It is far better for ppl to buy from those who have brought the items in and resell than to place an order that will take weeks to get to them.

this is complete BS. all your epistle is just to push the middleman economy...a seller buys from another seller and sells to another seller and the consumer is cheated out of his money

...so if i want to sell something, i should look for a middle man who has imported it and added his profit, then i add my own profit and the END USERS has to pay double?

dozzybaba: Yeah..i knew that, i do FDs a lot. But Bankers and marketers don't always tell you what's in 'fine print' when they want you 'to buy'. Especially when you are newbie to a certain investment 'niche'..It's an unwritten marketing and advertizing principle to always downplay the downsides of your services and products. Welcome to the wonderful world of BlackBerry 10. Make sure you visit the BlackBerry world and search for any app you will like to have. If it's not there, no worries. You can install the Android version on your device

heck the most posted tip on this thread is for you to use normal GLO BIS rather than the BB10 plan!!!! it gives you 3gb of data for just 1k

when you say MTN 4g bb10 do you mean MTN BB10 data plan?

if you are using MTN bis...it doesnt work on BB10 devices because MTN has blocked that data channel and that could be distorting stuff and causing all sorts of issues with your apps.

if this problem started after you updated your BBM to the latest version, you need to confirm what BB10 OS version, device model you're using... outdated OS version might also be responsible for the issues

note that a security wipe will restore your device to a default state based on the OS version you have, it will not install the latest version of the OS

henry007: its the worst advise coz its coming from henry007 lol. stripper bbm issue started when he updated his bbm but yet your "genius" advice is for him to update bbm, and OS then security wipe?! shey na copy and paste advice better pass?. I bet you zoomed past the main issue at hand and faced me.

quick advise: get over yourself....i dont know who you are and frankly i dont give a damn who you are....in case you have not noticed, lots of folks here and I have maintained decorum and have been offering help to BB10 users for quite a while now

if you give a bad advise here, i will call you out because my goal has been and will always be to make this thread the one place anyone with a BB10 device can find help with getting the best experience on their BB10

maybe you can explain to the general public what intelligence went into your asking someone using a BB10 with BBM built in to install the android version of BBM on that type of device?

When you plug the device to a pc, it asks you to download a required driver to allow the pc communicate with the device. That driver is different from the program which is why it still asks you to download the BlackBerry link program

If you install the BlackBerry link the device will not ask you to download the driver because the driver is part of the program

You need to install a program called BlackBerry link on your pc. It helps with managing your BlackBerry via a pc

Just go to BlackBerry.com to download BlackBerry link

Note that this program is different from the previous BlackBerry Desktop manager

We need to strive to not give each other bad advise... the worst thing anyone using a BlackBerry 10 device would do will be to install the Android version of BlackBerry Messenger on a BlackBerry 10

If anyone is having a problem with their bbm and they're using a BlackBerry 10 device pls update both OS and bbm to the latest version but before doing that UNINSTALL all the unnecessary apps you have installed on your device and make sure you have at least 2Gb of free device memory

Worst case scenario, copy all your personal files onto your media card, remove the media card and security wipe your device to start afresh

I have updated to all official versions of 10.2.1.anything without having any issues on my z30 and I expect the z3 to behave as good as the z30

Oh by the way, each update has been worth the effort

Daily driver means the OS you use for your everyday mobile activities

Try this: delete all the android markets you have installed and reinstall only one of them.

henry007: I'm sure you have seen/chosen to ignore problems that occur after updating a perfectly functioning os 10.2.1.___device. if you don't have bugs that the said update is meant to fix, would you advise one to update anyway for the sake of updating? i dont think its wise. my advice is to wait for a better os version with something new to look forward to which is the OS 10.3._____

the so called issues or problems are few localized instances and those are not enough to discredit the concept

it's myopic thinking tha an OS or app update will be released only to fix a few bugs affecting a small percentage of devices...Updates can impact different models of the same device differently due to the differences in the hardware make up of the different models but usually an update will also include preemptive patches for those models not impacted negatively and also bring other stuff/improvements to all models beyond the bug fix

In the case of BB10 which is the subject of this thread, different BB10 models (Z10/30/3, Q10/5, P9982) exist and they are all updated at the same time. they are run on hundreds of mobile networks in hundreds of countries with different configuration and implementation of GSM and CDMA technology....all these variables could cause different units to react differently to updates so why would heavily paid engineers spend time to release an update just to fix the bugs on less than 5% of devices in deployment?

if you want to update at a business center, it must be a center that allows wifi connection or allows you to bring your own laptop to connect to internet service

if you're able to connect to wifi directly using your phone, then you can do the update OTA. if you have to connect with your laptop, then you need to have BB Link installed on your laptop and use that program to update your phone

Once the Update is pushed to your phone, feel free to update your OS...you will need wifi either from a router or via mobile hotspot from another phone

OS Updates improve and stabilize the features you already have and add new ones to make your mobile experience better. most times you might not even notice the difference in the old and new versions but always remember this.... if the update is not worth it, the engineers responsible for putting the update together would not have spent time and other resources to work on pushing the update out

eljaye: Well, from a general outlook, some updates/upgrades just mess things up the more, from the simple facebook, twitter updates to os updates, there's always the fear that what if the upgrade even makes the device slower or makes using the app a little difficult.
Some people also have issues with hearsay, and once someone starts crying foul about something, the next minute panic just commences.
So it would take a whole lot to get some people to upgrade/update apps and os.

you're right to an extent but i do not know of any single upgrade or update on any OS or app that was a worldwide disaster...95% of the time, upgrades and updates makes the mobile experience better...its usually in few isolated cases that people have issues with an OS or app after a new update

henry007: don't update till 10.3.v if not you may encounter unnecessary bugs that are not worth the update. I believe nothing is wrong with yours obviously coz it came out the box like that.

this is the type of misinformation that makes people think that upgrading their OS or updating their apps is bad
