when a phone goes off and doesn't come on, most times, its because the battery has been discharged beyond its minimum threshold

there must have been a problem with the charging and it was discharging rather than charging when it was plugged to the wall

change your charger and see what happens. if that doesnt work, change the battery

depends on what you need it for

are u guys all sure the problem is not from your own devices? i dont think the DNS changer can affect enterprise and BIS servers that host your access to the internet.

the BB designed to be cheap is the CURVE...not sure there are still many people out there using the Storm 1 or 2.

if this is your first BB and u have a low budget, get any ofthe curve series

the networks don't like video streaming from YouTube because it uses up a lot of bandwidth. what most of them do is take out your airtime if you have any on the device you're using to stream

you have to think up more innovative ways to go about it and get value for your money

thats because the networks dont like people streaming video from the internet especially youtube

are u asking about the battery of ur phone? if that's the question, then confirm you bought a new phone. if it is new the battery should not have a problem

note that androids are not the best in battery so factor that in before u conclude there's a problem with the battery

and don't forget to read the manual

From what I hear, it's a relatively small bank with deep pockets that's run out of Togo and its services are not competitive with the best Nigerian banks. My mum had a domiciliary account with Oceanic she used for sending my sister's school fees to the US. The transfer was fast and efficient; my sister would get the funds on the same day or the next day at the latest. Once Ecobank acquired Oceanic, the transfers started taking longer and longer! It got so bad that she transferred $20k and the money took 9 days to get to the US!!! She was so pissed-off, she closed the account and opened a new domi account with another bank.

How can a bank that can't run basic international transfers properly, run a mobile payments system? Mobile payments systems are struggling with security issues in Europe and the US. How can they possibly work in Nigeria, the epicenter of Yahoozee? Abeg, better run for your life before your money disappears!

your sister school fees experience is not a general thing and its not correct for you to conclude based on your singular experience... i have been using ecobank for intl transfer for like 4 yrs with no issues

if it is purely CDMA and not a world phone that has both CDMA and GSM capability, you cannot unlock it

the first thing you need to check is if it has a GSM simcard slot, if it does, no unlocking is necessary beyond the normal GSM unlocking

if it doesnt, you're out of luck and you can only use it with starcomms or multilinks
