DEFINITELY Jelly bean will work on GS3 and it should start rolling out officially anytime soon.

Not sure your G-Note will ever get official JB especially now that G-Note2 is about to be unveiled but there will eventually be custom JB ROM that will run on the G-Note, hopefully

im interested in buying a mobile gaming machine. im not a avid gamer. my interest is pretty limited. i just like my PES occasionally.

between a PSP and a Phone like Xperia Play, which do you think is better? id rather prefer being able to consume content on it too, like browsing and movies. which is why im considering the fone vs the PSP

also consider the fact that im not about to start buying games by any means, therefore i shld be able to source games easily......

NB, if you know of a better phone (with dedicated controls or physical keyboard) pls recommend.

jp philips: these network providers sell BB phones as such they favor BB internet plan. if you want good internet plan on your home network get urself a BB at least for now

the BOLD and TORCH series are more expensive than the CURVE series

my advise will be for you to avoid used BB and when you do buy, make sure the one you buy runs at least BB OS6. if you plan on using the device for at least a year, go for one running OS7 i.e BOLD 9900, TORCH 9810 or 9860, curve 9310

For your info, it has been listed as one of the brand that will extinct as soon as possible especially before the end of next year if nothing is done to improve their current platforms and situations. So if you like ,keep it as souvenir.
Why it may be difficult for the users is because speculations create results fast even in abroad unless they (RIM) operate on new platform that is better. If many people start abandoning them for other phones, as you know, smartphones are getting cheaper day by day (no thanks to android os)subscription tariffs especially in naija will be drastically increased. Then you know what will happen next.

thats strange...unless you have messed with the settings on your phone in the past and those modifications are preventing your phone from working.

the Airtel internet works without requiring you to set up anything. if your android is spanking new, it should work. i use the same thing on my device and i didnt have to set up any funny apns blah blah

NO, you can't bridge but you can TETHER once both devices are connected by Bluetooth. bridging is an exclusive blackberry thing

in the settings page, you will see 'internet tethering'. once you're set up your PB can use the data plan on your Nokia to access the internet

your complaint is not clear...is the BB wifi hotspot not doing what its supposed to do or your problem is really with your iPad using up all your data?

garbigarba: @op if you want a smooth, fluid easy to use and extremely practical device go for the lumia 900... It is a beautiful device to use... I presently use an iphone 4 and a lumia 900. Trust me you wont regret it.
On the other hand, the sgs3 is also a good device that packs way to much power than necessary and the os is not the best in its league, its awfully fragmented... Even with the millions of apps they can boast of in their appstore, more than half wont work on your device....
Conclusion : if you're not a geek you wont enjoy the sgs3.... And note, everything that can be done on the sgs3 can be done on the lumia 900.

And thanks guys for derailing the thread and making it a comparison between one x and sgs3.

only the concluding part of your post is where i beg to differ....the Lumia cannot do everything that can be done on the SGS3. Although, those incremental are stuff that will be important to above average users rather than the majority of smartphone users

If you think galaxy is better for you then give reasons in accordance with your needs and just don't say its better because its better or because lumia sucks.

Lastly, since you're so eager to do a comparison, why not start by comparing the metro (wp) UI to that of android and ios. That would help me to really gauge your smartphone know-how

if you read my post again you will realize i responded based on your comment. your comment implied that both phones had the same specs but the pocket has 3Gb internal memory which the Tecno didnt have

if you had listed the spec like Oge now later did, i would not have responded in that manner.

that said, there's no way you should be comparing a single sim phone to a dual sim phone. you should be looking at dual sim phones from Samsung to compare the Tecno to i.e. Samsung Galaxy S or Y duos

if price is the OP's only consideration, then a Tecno T1 with dual sim and dual camera offers more value than the Pocket, no debate

Galaxy S3 will take care of you

android OS is the land of free. so developers are at liberty to put as much rich content in their apps as android hardwares can handle. that is why the android version of most apps you see on other platforms are larger in size

android apps offer richer graphics and better colors although the iOS still does a great job or even better job in some instances
