Waleabimbola:

Hello everyone,
Please I invited a friend of mine and his family to visit me in Canada for Christmas.

He submitted his application online on the 13th September and did biometrics few days after.
He got Biometric Verification letter today(4th November)
Please what is the success rate after getting BVL?
I mean do they still refuse TRV after sending BVL?
Thanks

[quote author=Ozzz post=83748559]My fellow Nairalanders, good morning!

Family application visiting visa approved( I hope it means we were granted visa)

Day 49

Visa Office unknown !!! (maybe London, yet to confirm)

Online application

Application submission - Sept 17th
Biomeric collection letter - Sept 19th
Biometric done & Completed - Sept 23rd
Ghost update - Oct 17th ( since no update, thanking for my patience.)
Eligibility started - Oct 31st
BVL or Correspondence letter- Nov 04 (ghost update)
Original Passport Req. letter- Nov 04 (ghost update)

My people, our flight ticket, booking ticket including my brothers grad. have all elapsed during the processing time grin So obviously morale was low. I decided I wasn't even going to write them (IRCC) or complain to them, anything that happens, let it happen, but somehow i was just positive.
I was surprised to see double ghost updates yesterday evening. Infact I still dey fear cos.. my online cic account still showing processing for eligibility and background checks, but for final decision, showing approved.

Elders please is this Goodnews?

Secondly, how much am I to pay to submit 3 passports ?

Can I, the authorised representative of the application submit and collect passports on behalf of my parents ?

what's the duration of time to get back passports ?

Hello, I saw your post and I might be in need of your service soon if I get good rate..
I just loaded a container with the following cars:
2014 Camry (1)
2014 corrola (2)
2004 Sienna (1)
What would be the cost of clearing the whole container and if possible you can break the price down for each vehicle.
Thanks

Career / Re: Got An Interview, How Do You Tell Your Present Boss? by Waleabimbola(m): 7:23am On May 12, 2016
Oluseguntee:
I recently got a job this month. Their pay is actually good compared to others. Before I resumed there, I had done a test somewhere else which promises to pay better than this one I am working in. They now called me this week for a final test that will come up next week. My problem is how do you tell my present work place you have an interview somewhere else considering I just resumed with them. Note: I took permission for something few days ago. Please help a bro.

Just say you have USA visa interview and the date has been given to you before you got your present job.tell your boss you will be done before 12 noon.(you know you won't be done anyway, just to keep him calm)

What is the exact mistake you made?

shithapuns:
Pls i made a mistake in the online uk visa form, and i have submitted it, is there any way to correct this error or can i simply fill a new form with a new email.

2ndly am going with my wife who is self employed..in the section where they are asking money at hand\total cost of this trip to you personally etc, she simply wrote the figures i had already entered in mine, though in additional info, we wrote that the total cost of the trip would be borne by me _ the husband.
We also stated that her total earnings after tax is abt 25k , but we didnt attach any bank statement for her, only mine....cos her biz even though regidtered is on a small scale

Pls still waiting

Good day house I have registered on teleperformance website late last year but I did not conclude the uk application because I was not given chance for leave I filled the application form eelier today and also paid for visa fee I went to the next step which is to register my appointment on teleperformance but its my old GWF number that is showing and there is no space for me to edit the GWF number please can anybody direct me on how to do that, next week Monday is my appointment date so I need register on the teleperformance on time.
Thank you

Yes you have to use the same GWF.you don't need new GWF.
You only need to create account on teleperformer so as to track your application after you must have submitted at their centre.that is the purpose of your registration NOT to register your appointment.

Thank you very much for the supportive informations that you gave me, please, can i use my bank account statement of 3months old ,and how much is the minimum money that i should have in my bank before going to submit my application at the VSF center. thanks in anticipation.

I think they want 6 months bank statement... I am not really sure.
let other people enlighten you on this issue please so as not to be misinformed.

@waleabimbola, Thanks for your advice too. but are you also saying that all those documents required by the invitee for the invited must be certified by the SA police and after the certification on the documents, he/she can now send it via courier service.

secondly, will the invitee's documents be couriered to the person's address, whom he/she is to be invited to SA or be sent directly to the SA embassy here in Nigeria?

the documents should be signed and courier to you NOT to the embassy

Good day to all, please is it true that , In order to be invited by someone who is a citizen/ permanent resident in SA, can the invitee send his/her copy of national ID, bank account statement and the invitation letter to the person he/she wants to invite for visit via email or via courier service? thanks in anticipation of your kind responses.

Let him/her send it via courier.. Dhl is just 290Rand to Nigeria.. I am sure you dont want to give the embassy any reason to deny you.The embassy might say the stamp on the Documents is fake if it sent via email.
Just an advice anyway. All the Best

And can you pls tell me how many percentage of people living in this country who has make it that did not go through shady way to have their success. ?

My Brother, my advice for you is to come before 15th Dec.. You may be lucky and you will be given 30 days at point of entery here in SA and you may also be unlucky to be given till 15th Dec... Those are the 2 possibilities.
Well The place where your passport is issued has nothing to do with the success of your future application in any other embassy. Infact in your own case it MAY work against you(Am sorry but that is the bitter truth you may not want to hear now) because , your future embassy will see that you are not a resident of SA and you overstayed in SA according to the following reason..
1...you got your passport after 30 days in SA(if you are even lucky to be given 30 days at point of entry)
2...The SA embassy will stamp your NEW passport as Overstayed in SA when you are eventually going back home
3.. it will be written on your NEW passport that you have been banned

My advice for you is, come to SA and spend the time you are given at point of entry and leave SA immediately... I am sure Canada, USA or Australia will never give someone who has over-stayed in ORDINARY SA( as you called it earlier in your post) their Precious visa.

dont be deceived by anyone that , the place where your passport is issued affects outcome of your future visa application.Hence it may only affect you negatively in your own case.
Conclusively, Never say you will never be in SA for the next 10 years my brother because you dont know what the future holds for you.For instance, if you get a good job in Nigeria and the company/organisation want to send you to SA for a training or conference but you have been banned by SA in 2014.. what will you tell your company?
I read a story on here last year of a man who works with SHELL INTERNATIONAL(yes shell oil company) now and they wanted to send him to UK For training meanwhile he has been banned by UK Several years back for using different names on his passport while he was still hustling.what will he Tell the company my brother?do you think any Reputable company will wanna employ someone who has questionable character at embassies when millions are out there waiting?
CONSIDER YOUR FUTURE NOT YOUR PRESENT CONDITION MY BROTHER(am sorry admin for using capital letters)

I wish you all the best my brother

If you like, listen to what these pple are telling you and if you like, don't listen, it's up to but one thing is certain, your money will be wasted and you will end up not getting any permit. I have friends here you refuse to heed to my advice, they are regretting right now. I have even seen some students here who submitted for renewal of their study permit and for over 4 months now they never get their permit renewed not to talk of a visitor coming here to get a permit. Even the popular asylum called (Aduro) is no more easy to get like before. Come to asylum office in Pretoria close the popular marabastard market and see thousands of Naija, congolese and the zimbas sleep ouside their office in freezing cold for weeks in order to get their way in for (aduro). If you want to come to SA, just visit and go back or come with your study permit or work permit from naija else, you will only come here to waste your time and money and metro will make life difficult for you.

Gbamm! over n out

You are on point Bro, i see them every morning when i am going to work..i guess you stay around pta north or around wonderpark area.
