Hi, I pray it is a positive result. Could you confirm if you were sending reminders via paid mail? or through the original administrative review email?

Thanks.

Hi, thanks for checking up. They responded in August 2022 since February 2022 overturn, though the issues were cleared based on the previous AR, unfortunately, another error was made by the case worker and I have no option but to fight it again as the record needs to be set straight. It might be longer, but never bowing to immigration law manipulation.

dippyyoo:

Hi @DFmum and @waleshadow.. any updates? Dependant kids just got sorted end of July for an AR overturned 21st February. Visas gotten now.
Travel / Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by waleshadow: 9:53am On Aug 08, 2022
Avoid it. You may apply just so you can get the decision overturned, but then, just do a new application afterwards, else you may have to wait for over 6months for the result. It is no joke.

Not to make anyone uncomfortable, but my dependents' overturned decision is now 6months and still counting with no passport request. Same excuse; Covid-19, Russia-Ukraine fight etc. But new VISAs are being issued daily. An overturned decision with all data in the system requires 6 months to be transferred or do findings? It is disheartening, heartbreaking and disappointing at the same time.

DFmum:
They havent requested for passport yet, they replied and apologised for delay and reassured that they are working on the application for reconsideration but no timeframe. Today made it 5months of successful administrative review, it took them ages to transfer file back for decision.

Hi,

Has there been any update on your AR final decision? please share if there is any info that may help others.

Thanks.

Pandaaa:
Hello

Help me b4 UKVI drives me crazy.

I was refused visa on the 14th of October.
The reason is that i didn't meet up with the financial requirements, but I did.

So I went for an Administrative review the same day. I heard nothing from this UK home office until 17th of December.

I was notified of my successful administrative review.

But till now they have not reached me on any decision made yet.

I used the paid enquiry to escalated the matter, they sent an email that a decision has been made but they can't disclose it on line( this one was happening last month) that I should wait for 15 working days, that they will reach me.

I am still waiting.oooh,

I don't know my left from my right, too much uncertainties concerning the visa application.

I disturbed thier life with the paid enquiry, they are still saying the same thing, the Home office is busy, wait for 15days your issue has been escalated.
I have waited for 15days 2 times now.

Is there any other thing i can do? Any other channel I cam use and mount pressure in them?

Hi,

My family got a successful AR in February as well, it has been 12 weeks now. They have been responding to emails that it is under consideration but with no timeline. Has there been any update on yours? please share if you have any info, Thanks.

DFmum:
11 weeks of successful administrative review, nil mail for passport submission yet. When will this be over?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by waleshadow: 10:19pm On Apr 23, 2022
Please do. I had the same issue in 2018. Even as a signatory to the company's account, it was not accepted as I did not specifically state in a cover letter that I have access to the account. It is funny but this is how they see it.

Primetouch1:
Pls a quick response : I am using my company’s statement of account for my family visa do I need to s write a letter as a director stating the company will fund the Trip ?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by waleshadow: 9:52pm On Apr 23, 2022
Hi, has there been any feedback on your VISA?

DFmum:
Please am trying to use the paid call to know update on my family application but its not going through, that it has not exceeded timeline to give me an update. I don't know what they meant by that.

This is 9weeks of successful administrative review and I was told it has been escalated last week I called them. Does escalation takes so much time?
And I can't even use the paid call anymore, don't know why.

Hi,

Have you received any updates on your VISA status? did you submit your passport? Are they responding to your emails?

ELIZABET:
Good morning.

SOS

Has anyone here gone through the Administrative review process for UK student dependant from >>successful Administrative review to >>Visa granted

Please help with information. Your experience is needed.

There are a lot of people here with successful AR that have been kept hanging by UKVI. No communication, no idea what is going on and how long we should wait.

All paid emails and paid calls have yielded nothing.

Please help

Kind regards

Hi guys,

I just needed to update those that were on the previous thread and for the benefit of those that might face the same challenge.

I got my VISA to study but my family was refused (partner+children) with the option to push for Administrative review, which we applied for within the timeline given. It took 33days after application to get feedback from the Administrative review team and it was a SUCCESS! Yes, the refusal was overturned and they apologized for the error. The case has now been forwarded to the original case working team. I just want to say, if your reasons are valid and you can wait, administrative review works!

Goodluck to everyone"

Thanks. I understand the reason for the refusal. My case is a bit special and may not apply to many here. The marriage is over 10years with substantial proof.

sweetoma:

I am so sorry to hear this, I had a friend who experienced a similar issue. I will ask her to find out how she addressed it, If you don’t mind tho, do you have any idea why your refusal was based on additional proof of marriage ? Was your marriage recent ? And what proof did you provide when asked?

Later got to know about this. Thanks for the response.

Bigfish01:

Bro administrative review is 90 days or more ignore the 28 days.. if the administrative review is successful UKVI will email you to resubmit your passport.

Hi everyone,

I just collected my dependent's passport only to see it blank with no decision letter. Has anyone experienced this? Their application is currently under administrative review after a refusal based on additional proof of marriage which has been submitted in the 1st week of January 2022 and ought to be treated within 28 days, but the collection mail came in within a week after.

Your input will be appreciated.

Thank you.

I have an understanding that they do accept Nikkah Certificate but ensure to back it up with pictures of the wedding, signing etc. It should suffice. All the best.

Thank you
1st NSF is to send updated bank statement

Sent degree certificate and transcripts for this

Maybe if you share an idea of what the NSF mails were about and what you did about it, then it may give a better view as to likely outcome. Collection mail is likely a positive feedback if you have address all NSF issues properly.

So sorry to hear this. From the uploaded refusal letter, I believe the main reason for your refusal was that your sponsor was refused. All other excuses from them are just copied and pasted notes.

Gentlesoul3268:

Sorry to hear this # seun adebayo this reason of your refusal is not genuine since you stated all what you would be doing in the Uk.

When do you apply?

Please can you attach your refusal letter for more insight

You can try and re apply later

Best of luck

Replay that same email reminding them of the date you applied, the fact that you have not received any mail on your decision and the need for you to resume by 10th January. Also, login to check where the application is DMC, VAC etc. also check your junk/spam folders.

Riahmah:
Hello everyone. My application as been stucked at DMC. Biometrics was on dec 2 and I opted for priority. I’ve called and sent mail they keep saying decision has been made but my passport is t ready. My school resumes on the Jan 10 and I don’t even have my passport yet. Is there anyone that has a solution to this? I’d really appreciate your response. Thank you

So yea, after sending a paid mail. I got a response days later for my dependants, and a mail for pickup for mine. I haven't gone for the pickup yet. I will share an update by then.

Good evening all,

Happy New year 2022!

I will like to seek your advice on a UK visitor VISA. My wife is travelling for a business meeting in the UK (Invitation received from the UK company) but will be travelling with our 7months old baby. We will like to know if the baby needs to apply for a standard visitor VISA just like the mother. Though, we had tried this but the questions are not so related to that of a baby (e.g. "How long have you been staying in your address", if we put 6months, it says we MUST put where he had stayed for the last 2 years), there are other sections like how much he planned to spend in the UK. Your advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

So, I sent a paid mail and got a feedback that the application has been processed and a decision has been made. Awaiting email for pick up though. But the holiday might cause more delays I guess.

Yes, your husband can be your sponsor and you can use the account, just state it and back it up with a form (in the application). You also need to state that your children are coming with you to the UK in your application, even if they are not coming right now.

Hakyntommy:
Good evening everyone. Please I will like to ask a question. I've received my CAS and I'm about to apply for Visa but the problem is...the proof of funds is in my husband's account. Tho my intention is that myself and my husband go first while we apply for the children later. But someone said there is no way we can convince the visa officer about who is going to take care of our children whole we are away, so it may likely lead to rejection. Now I'm thinking of applying alone but the proof of funds is in my husband account I don't know if he can just write a letter to support my application that he is sponsoring me and that him and th children will come on a later date. The pof will be 28 days on the 29th of this month and it can't be transferred to me. Thank you

This is valid. It is no red flag.

Janetale:

Co-ask, please is it really a red flag if the parents travel first and the children or child later? What if one sign document indicating that their grandparent will take care of them and also having the carer sign the document too.
