Romance › Re: Dear Women, Men Don't Like You. by Walkee: 9:37am On Feb 05, 2022 |
CaveAdullam: 1. Women will always blame men for their lapses and failures. Social media and the advent of feminism, gender equality and inclusion has provided a leeway for women to express their independence, yet, nothing to write home about them. Even if a woman becomes God, subtract all the men from the equation and they will run heaven to the drain. Even in the Bible fictional tale, Eve caused the fall of man and yet 'God' blamed Adam her husband.
2. Not that men don't like women or vice versa but that their sexual selection strategy is conflicting. Women are opportunistic, emotional, instinctual and always goes where the bag is bigger, ladder is higher, and walls stronger: Hypergamy. While men are the ideal lovers: sacrifices and care for the women and children.
The conflict here is that men want women to reciprocate their good deeds but women are unable to do so even when the man falls low. Women always stretches their tiny necks like giraffes to something always higher and forget the good deeds of the man that once treated them with care and love.
3. Men may prefer women for their wombs, vaginas and breasts while women value men for their money, power, status and attention.
However, this conflict as a result of their sexual selection strategy hasn't stopped men and women from coexisting as there has been a whole lot of compromises along the way in order to get better. Simply put, the sexes evolved to be complementary to one another, that is, the strength of one covers for the weakness of the other.
4. You are just cherry picking nonsensical claims: bride price, ritual killings, female genital mutilation blah blah blah to justify your assertions. Of course, you are very wrong.
Female genital mutilation is now a thing of the past even though the cultural reasons behind it was to curb female libido and promiscuity. However, male circumcision is still in vogue, infant baby boys still getting severe pains as a result of sexual hygiene purposes. No two ears hear about this.
Male and female offsprings has been used for ritual killings in the past, reason because the "land must be cleanse of demons causing famine, diseases, drought"...men, women, children all benefited. If you're referring to the present ritual killings in Nigeria, then blame it on female promiscuity, myopic tendency and greediness; same way you'll blame young boys that are killed daily as a result of cultism.
5. You make mention of bride price as if there's anything men gain solely through marriage but rather pains and agony. Men diminish themselves in marriage because they want wives and children to be happy. Despite that, all they get most times is henpecking and inveighing from spouses and sometimes their children. Offsprings are of benefits to mothers and fathers. Even children still prefer their mums to their dads.
6. Men: Short life expectancy. Highest number of homeless people. Highest number of prisoners. Highest number of school dropouts. Longer jail term. Highest number of work casualties. So, what are men enjoying actually?
7. Do you know how many men from yester years has losed their lives as a result of war? If women were truly hated, they would have gone alongside with men to wage war and bring prisoners. But the love men has for women and children, women aren't conscripted, after all, they are the weaker sex.
8. You lots, women and feminists should be grateful to men, had it been possible, you lots would have gone into oblivion long time ago assuming males can reproduce on their own.
"Abeg getat".
Edited: God blamed Adam her husband. regarding your point number 5 offsprings are of zero benefit to a man. As a man you gain nothing from having children. 99% of the time you will be long dead before they even get a job and are able to support you if you fell off on the way and majority of the time they won't even support you even if you were alive. Children only love a father who provide, children love their mother whether she was able to provide for them or not. My step mother abandoned her children when my father died, they still loved her. Women abort children, dump new born babies in gutters everyday yet everyone still believes a mother's love for her children is greatest thing in the world. Take a look at your WhatsApp status, everybody is "hustling for my mama" nobody hustles for the papa. Listen to all the musicians, "their mothers prayed for them" no father prayed for their children. As a man once you have children you become a slave. You work and earn 100k, you give your wife 80k for food and school fees, you send 10k your mother, and use the remaining 10k for transport. An average married man don't have 2 good pairs of shoes whereas his wife has numerous heels and good clothes. Abeg I don tire to type. |

Safeguarding the society is far more important than making money. Everything is not about money, as we see it in Nigeria. you dey mind these guys. Elimon: You argue like someone backwards earnestly... With respect to ur views tho... The vices that come out of a particular sector doesn't mean u should shut it down overlooking its vast usefulness. I used my dad's car to school at times and I know how helpful it used to be based on the distance from my house to school before I got a place of campus. Same goes to other students. Election malpractice in Nigeria doesn't mean u should stop elections but create measure to control it. Same goes to student with cars. students aren't allowed to wear some kind of clothes to school, they aren't allowed to operate phones inside lecture halls. Schools have their own rules. They have their own problems. Is it the same Schools that have not been able to build lecture halls to fully accommodate students that you want to add car park to the lists of their problems? There's nothing backwards in being realistic. They analysed the situation and make their own rules and regulations. You aren't smarter than a combination of 30 plus professors and numerous doctors of different academic professions who sat down, analysed the situations and came up with the resolution. |

3exe3: Same as on the major roads but is reduced due to the presence of security agencies
What's stopping the schools from creating checks and balances for such
The school is meant to be a ground of innovation
They should learn how to solve problems not always being on the defense
No environment grows with such they should now bring VIO and road safety to mount checkpoints inside campus or what? There are other more pressing issues in school than those. Schools just recently got a bit successful at flushing out cultism from campus and you want them to add another problem to themselves? |

The challenge here is not her but the way you're seeing the whole relationship... I know men like respect yea, but the way you saying it is like you're looking down on her..sorry if I misunderstand you. my point is, if I can buy bottle of drink for 30k to 50k at that time, I see nothing noble in paying 100k for 1 year tuition fee. You have no idea how I see her. She just knows how to respect me. Because I said if slap her doesn't mean that's common. She used to disrespect people a lot mainly because that's how they do in her place in Warri but not anymore. If she does anything that warrant slap(which is very rare) she'd surely cover her mouth. |

Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Lacks Patience. by Walkee: 6:43pm On Feb 02, 2022 |
Goodvibes8: Happy new month Dear nairalanders. Pls i really your advice on this issue.
My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year and 3 months, I intend to make her my wife. She is always on her recommended glasses because of her eyesight, She is a great, beautiful and brilliant girl but she lacks patience, she is not always patient with me.
She is a kind of girl that if she need something from you, just be ready to give her what she asked instantly and immediately else she will give you attitude.
I take good care of her, we go out on dates, I send her money for up-keep, I always try to be a good and better man for her, she is not a bitch and I love her so much.
Exactly this time last week, I sent her 35k for her up-keep. So yesterday evening (6pm) she called me and she said her glass lenses has expired, she can barely see and it's causing her serious headache, that she needed 25k to renew the lens.
I gently told her I can't do transfer at the moment, let her use the money I sent to her last week to sort it out first, then I would send everything back to her including the money for her glass lens in 4 days time.
She started giving me attitude, she said the money isn't up to 25k in her account, that she has used part of the money. I also explained the reason why I can't do transfer but she didn't listen, from 7pm yesterday till today she refused to pick my calls.
This morning, I have to make some calls to my friends to help me with some cash, then I sent her the 25k to go see her optometrist doctor. Infact what happened is just a tip of an iceberg, I can't even narrate what she done on several occasions, She doesn't care if you have what she need. Everything about her is urgent!!
I see this her behavior as a red flag. What should I do? I love her, she's a first class graduate. Pls don't call me a simp. I just need advice Pls. her parents have died? Look, don't think I'm one of those guys here. I paid my girlfriend's school fees of 100k plus from her 200L to final year because her mother is poor, 100k was nothing to me that time and other story but trust me, if I use eye talk to her in public she will code immediately. If I slap her she will use her own hand to cover her mouth so that people will not hear her cry. Now sef I don't have kobo but she dares not misbehave. She smoke igbo? How can you be taking care of a female and she will have zero regards for you? You be mugu? |
