Jorussia: As a staunch supporter of pmb from the south,i was very disappointed when pmb, yesterday, gave the position of SGF and Chief of staff to the north. After a careful analysis of what on earth will make pmb over look the south in his search for both SGF and chief of staff,i came to the conclusion that the recent actions of our political leaders in the south, must have influenced pmb decision to give both SGF and chief of staff to the north. Two persons(Amaechi and Fashola) from the south who were in poll to clinch both positions base on their closeness with pmb, were been thoroughly embarrassed and disgraced in the media with corruption allegations by their own kinsmen(wike and tinubu).let's take the case of fashola for example, when it became obvious that he was a man after pmb's heart, tinubu went about, using his stooge(gov ambode) to discredit both the personality and adminstration of fashola, thereby putting a very huge moral burden on pmb,if appoints fashola as chief of staff. Same for Amaechi, who gov wike set up a commission of enquiry,to probe the govt of amaechi in front of cameras, in an attempt to make it almost impossible for pmb to appoint amaechi as SGF.I kept asking myself, does this man wike realise that if he successfully demonise amaechi in the eyes of pmb, that there may be none in the ss to occupy that position? I haven't heard that any of the newly sworn in APC govs in d north,is busy embarrassing their predecessors who are PDP on the pages of newspaper and on TV.I saw frustration writing on the list announced by pmb,pmb was forced to appoint both SGF and chief of staff from the north east.If you are very credible, you are from the south, and not close to pmb, there is absolutely no way he will you as either sgf of chief of staff. Our political leaders must learn from the northerners. A Northerner,is a northerner first before been PDP or APC.Pmb does not, consult widely before appointing, which a clear departure from past presidents.our political leaders must stop pulling down those who are close to pmb from the south, for overall interest of southern Nigeria. I remember when senate president was zoned to the South in 1999,between 1999-2007,we produced over 3 senate presidents.but it was zoned to the north in 2007,only David mark was senate president for eight years. If our political leaders in the south, continue to fight those who wants to go up,i am afraid that the north will continue to dominate the polity, even though we are more educated and enlightened than them. You spoke my mind. I was waiting or the client day to have time to explain what you have just said. It's not Pub's fault at all. Tinted is selling us out fast. While the northerners were busy 'flashing' the names of credible people before the president for consideration, our elders in th e south were castigated the few the president recognises. I sure the president had more than enough people to choose from in th North. I can bet that he didn't personally know all these people before now. If we continue this way, we would loose all. |

Sincere9gerian: Exactly! Let's face facts and leave sentiments. What they paid for was for training and not for job placement. Good enough the op admitted they got excellent training. Moreover, the organization was set up for training specifically. Imagine if the organization keep employing those it has trained, then that will be a recipe for over-bloated work force and disaster.
On the issue of the acceptability of their certificate, I wonder why the power firms send staff to the place for training and at the same time deny knowledge of their certificate. Something is not adding up. Maybe NAPTIN has to do more advocacy on the issue of acceptability of it's certificate Body language promised job..... Anyway, I went there for job. I got TCN without them and even left TCN after a year. Better things ahead! |

The mistake I made was to pay that balance for a certificate that even TCN did not recognise. So painful.....................

Politics › Re: Tinubu/Fashola crisis deepens by wallex1983(m): 4:12am On Aug 16, 2015 |
Two things I like about Tinubu....... 1. He's good at political permutations (though he lost out recently at the NASS leadership. 2. He gave Lagos Fashola.
But Tinubu should know that he has grossly overstepped boundaries. Some of us still have respect for him just because of our dear BRF. Hence, he should better leave BRF alone before he looses out finally. I'm sure his loss at the NASS leadership isn't unconnected with his quarrel with Fash. BRF has always respected you sir. So pls respect yourself.
As per Ambode, hmmm. I didn't expect much from you anyway, so I'm not disappointed. One thing I'd say to you. "Bi a ba n sunkun, a ma n riran o" Meaning "Even when we are crying, we must still see o). Wake up and take dressing! |

I don't know the problem with these S/W APC governors sef. Why don't they start working? It appears they just don't have plans. My own governor and his deputy in ogun state have been moving up and down the state locking shops who have dirty trashes in front of them. Is this supposed to be the function of an executive governor and deputy, EVERYDAY? Why can't he charge the LGA chairmen to do this, or direct the ministry of environment to carry it out if it is that important? I see people with no agenda
GNI for don do better o....... But PDP mustn't resurrect in Ogun sha |
