Bussy123: Can Take statement of result to embassy or it has to be original certificate? I only have my original statement of result for my undergraduate and don't have my certificate yet. I have my original master degree certificate from UI but don't have the certificate for undergraduate.
Also Do i have to go with WAEC certificate? There is a mistake on the age on my certificate. You can go with the original certificate or statement that your school gave to you.. |

olayomi: Hello house, kindly advise.
The address on my SEVIS fee receipt is different from the one on my other documents. Just a slight difference in the house number (correct number - 3, the one on the receipt is 5)
Hope this doesn't have any implication? Or is there a way I can effect the change? You can send message sevis to change it for you. FMJFEE.SEVIS@ice.dhs.gov |

Bussy123: Hi Guys and ladies.
Do I have to go to embassy with my WEAC Certificate. I am a Phd Student. Do i have to go with waec certificate or just my undergrad and post grad cert? There is a mistake on age my Waec certificate. What kind I can do? I dont wan to go there with any fake document or with document that has errors. Can i Swear an affidavits? Go with all your documents. Sometimes they ask for documents and sometimes they don't but I advice you to go with it so as to be on a safe path.. You can do the affidavit but I thought you should have done that few years ago when you notice the error or you go to waec office and do the correction.. |

Tods: Yea I know they send for free which takes time but I want an expedited delivery that's why an opting for the courier service option. I meant the rate at which the bank will charge, is it official rate of 200 or black market of 320 or so? Your bank will charge you at parallel market rate |

Tods: House please for those that collected their i20 using dhl or any other courier service, how much dollars did they charge to send it to Nigeria, plus did they charge at official rate or parallel rate? If your school asked you to register with eshipglobal it will cost you $106 or almost $110.. |

Verdi: Hello everyone,
Great job you guys have done, in disseminating information on the entire US grad school application process. I have gained so much perusing this and the previous thread parts for a while now and I hope to also provide useful feedback which others may find useful.
My question is concerning the payment of the MRV fee. I completed my applications for Fall 2016 and I've been admitted with my I-20 on the way(should be here next Friday or slightly later) and I want to know if I can go ahead and pay the MRV fee this week (like today or tomorrow) considering the site says the present fee rate expires on May 23. Is it possible to pay for the MRV fee without the I-20? Also I'd like to know if there is any time restriction to schedule your interview from the day you pay your MRV fee, for instance, is there some rule that says you must use the UID or receipt number or something within xyz days?
Thank you. You are good to pay the visa fee and it's only valid for 1 year from the day of payment |

Bussy123: Hi all,
I recently accepted an offer into graduate program (PhD) in chemistry. I was offered a financial support as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) or Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) with stipend. In short, its fully funded.
What are the embassy requirements please? How can I prove strong tie to my country? My education has been back to back, I recently completed Master in Chemistry (graduated in September) in UI but still carrying out researches and writing papers (Journals) so I am not doing any paid job now.
What advice can you guys give when it comes to embassy in Lagos? so far my PhD is fully funded with monthly stipend, do I have to present huge back statement to embassy? What are the documents that I should provide or take to the embassy with me?
Looking forward to hear from you guy. Thanks With all these you are good to go.. Also you will need to show sponsorship of possible and also defend your full ride, although it's very rare to see PhD student getting denied for student visa.. Go along with your Passport, i20, admission letter with GA letter, sevis reciept, bank statement of sponsor, certificate, transcript, standardised test result |

pls, what will she tell them when she gets to western union or how will she go about it?
Thanks Fill and submit the I901 form online www.fmjfee.com and Send her the payment coupon confirmation page or coupon number. She will make the payment via WU and fill the form same way she is sending the money to you in Nigeria but the difference is that it's the bank name and coupon number and dhs that will be as receiver, account number .. Am sure when she gets to WU they will teach her how to fill the form and tell her to let them know that she wants to pay for sevis fee.. |
