You can only change your details on DS160 before you submit, as for appointment page you can change your details even after submission but you need to contact them via email by using the feedback option at the left corner of the page

Dear good people please advise me, I applied for a US visiting visa and I've submitted my application before I realized my passport validity is less than six months. My interview is next week 11 of May in Abuja. I'm about applying to renew my passport, hopefully it will be out before my interview. Please is this a problem for my visa? Is that a red flag? You can renew and get your passport within 24 to 48 hours

The only issue and problem is that if you have submitted your DS160 form, you will need to fill another one and update your passport number on the form but if not update it on the DS160 before submitting and also go to the appointment booking website and also update your passport number there too..

Try and use PayPal and send to someone who owns a PayPal account there but it takes 1-3 working days before it will reflect

The maximum duration should be the days or weeks or months that you filled as for your visiting..

I advise you don't spend more than so that you won't violate the visa rules and regulation

After the long wait, my file went to the department on 21st of April, since then if I call the response I get is that i should be patient cos they're yet to hear from the department. They don't respond to my emails. Takes them 2wks b4 I get a response from any email. However, is it advisable to ask them to shift it to Fall cos from the look of things now, summer starts from next month and I don't think I can meet up with the visa issues. Or should I wait after I must have been admitted then I'll differ to fall. Which is better?

The best is that after you have been granted admission then you can differ and you won't stress yourself for fresh application by then

Visa can be rejected for any schools either private or public schools..

At times you need travelling history and sometimes you don't need travelling history to get US student visa..

It's part of your supporting documents and if applicant don't have (s)he will be attended to and sometimes having one of these test help and not having it leads to denial by some VO

Infact it's compulsory as far am concern for those who want success at times and it's not compulsory for those who want to take risk.. Don't forget it's my own opinion

Is it university or high school transcript

Well if it's high school transcript they will accept waec result card but university own must be official

Just check their website and click on Nigeria and you will get more info about which and how the transcript should be mail to them
