GboyegaD: There could be further notice if the person is sincere. She could approach a friend and explain her situation or even a member of her religious group if she is active and humble. In all, I wish her the best.
For those who are quick to judge people because of their present situation, kindly desist from such act and instead, be kind to all and grateful to God. Thank you sir and God bless you.. |

labrinthy: Hi all..want to thank everyone on this forum.i have been a silent follower, reading transcripts and comments..may God bless you all...visa was approved on 19th august at the lagos embassy...school resumes the day visa was approved and the admission officer has advised me to wait until spring so as not to encounter any problem at the port of entry...dont know what to do now..december seems to far...i need your thoughts on this..thanks ya all The Admission officer already gave you the best advice which people here will give to you because it won't be good to have issues at point of entry and the immigration officer there can send someone back. Just wait and move by first week of December which is a month to you resumption but if you want to go and resume this semester just ask your admission officer to give you extension letter that you will show at the point of entry to the immigration officer and that show help but notify your school with you flight intineary incase the immigration officer at Poe wants to call your school Don't worry much because before you know it December is here and mind you September starts next week.. |

diggy4real: Please I need a school for atleast $3,000-$5000 tuition fee for Masters program...plus do one pay her fees completely before one gets admitted and subsequently i-20 form....or can one pay a part fee?
Lastly what are the advantages of F- 1 visa in terms of work conditions. How many hours per day is one allowed to work. On F 1 the it's 20 working hours per week.. You don't need to pay part or full payment before getting your I20 but some schools do ask applicants to deposits part of their fee but it's not advisable doing that as far I am concern.. |

emmbee86: Hello everyone,
It looks like only community colleges offer IT courses, some as certificate course and others included in the associate degree curriculum. The question is as an IT person in Nigeria, graduated from uni in 2003, what are ones chances of getting a student visa for an IT courses given that one can't get a good training center in Nigeria with a good hands-on training. I have been a trainer and we don't deliver well, no serious hands on and tech know how.
Thanks If you are planning to apply to community college I will advice you to disconnect that from your mind because since you graduated from a university since 2003 which is almost 15 years ago, why now going to polytechnic in USA for IT course If I may ask are you moving forward or backward educationally if you now apply to a community college for an IT course Sir with your current age is better just go for masters which seems to fit your profile and I pray that God favour you.. |

imperiouxx: Not only that their admission process is stringent, just a 2 year program in Harvard is like robbing a bank for tuition. They have Nigerians but they are mostly American born or those that migrated to U.S as child. For a Straight Outta Naija, you will be one very lucky genius if at all your application is considered for evaluation.
Their scholarship is very very very (x3) competitive. Harvard like other private schools is designed for you to pay with student loan if your parents can't afford the huge tuition and student loan is given if you have an American or resident who can cosign for you. @Big boss @All How about some private university who grant scholarship to students (deduction within 30% to 50% from school total fee which include tuition and fee, living expenses, books etc), is it really advisable to apply there and take their I20 for interview ? |

Notonlyamerika: Orile Iganmu Okay and do you want direction for commercial bus or taxi ? Majority of all taxi driver know the place and can drive you there but if you taking commercial bus just try and board the one going to ikeja and when you get there ask and walk down to the bride close to the general hospital and take a navy blue bus or normal yellow bus going to international airport.. I hope this help |
