EJINNE: @ sabiguy tnx for ur opinion but I dnt tink same way u did cos dere was smtyn u failed to hit on.... my case was entered into deir system a day bfor my interview, meaning woreva it was dat brot abt d A.P was not from d answers I gave but frm info provided on ds 160 perhaps. * wen I sed recommendatn in my post i also dint 4gt to write intensive researching on d recommended schl pickn oda schls as comparative ssamples * not colleagues at wrk, freshly recruited graduates under my supervision and dat ofcos is reasonable enof for any supervisor to be on his toes * Wen I asked if she wld lyk to see d evidence, it was done in a calm and friendly manner and not sme kind of arrogancy display moreso d few ppl dat got deir visas dat moryn were asked > have u paid ur sevis fees? So for me to ve gotten to dat last questn its definitely a strong beam of hope and nt a resemblance of slow denial... tnx for ur tym and opinion anyway. Wld update u soon. Do you truly pay the sevis fee? Do you have relatives in U.S or do you fill information about them in your ds160? Has anyone fill immigrant visa for you before or play the DV/visa lottery before? With these questions above, i think it will help us all here |

dqn6606: Hi house! My respect to the Gurus on this forum! I thank God for the life of the owner(s) of this site and the creator(s) of this great, highly informative thread. May God reward you all abundantly.
My transcript: VO: are you Mr mysurname? Me: yes myfirstname VO: why did you choose UI? Me: I did cos, it's a prestigious institution, I will be able to benefit from a robust Xmsry Knowledge base courtesy of the professionals the dept boast of and I've got a research grp headed by Prof bla bla ... working on my area of research intr.( VO nodding while listening ) VO: you are married? Me: yes VO: are you going with your fam? Me: no, only me for now VO: got kids? Me: yes, VO: How many and age? Me: told her but gave wrong age. Instead of weeks, I said months. I thought of correcting it but I guess I was nervous VO: it has been approved Me: looking confused. VO: repeated herself, gave me I20, pick ur passport bla bla. That's all. Good luck! Me: still startled, I mumbled good luck LOL then said thank you and left slowly.
Tips: Guys pray well, and prepare well by going through this thread to see how to answer tricky questions.
I'll try to add more observations later. Nice transcript... Enjoy your stay in Obamaland |

udeyokay: Thanks bro The lucked my username and password in a way even to login the appointment is not possible for me now if I complain they said I should chill by monday they will give ma new date then give me my username and password.though I have not given them dime. They said when I confirm their job then I will pay them. As if i knew that is what they will do for you... Its emergency request and they dont want you to see the confirmation in your email from the embassy.. I will advise you not to pay for the date because they already maneuver you... I dont still know why someone people will fall for cheap trick and still patronize agent |

udeyokay: Please gurus have anybody in this forum heard or seing where it was possible for some of those nigerians that organise the appointment screening at the first check in post in the embassy could secure an early appointment for someone? One of them asked me to go and pay for visa fee that he would secure an early appointment for me.that I will immediately print out the appointment confirmation. But I'm still nervous I don't want to land into trouble :- They will do emergency for you and you wont know it emergency and you will just pay money for what you can do yourself.. |
