Something pushed me to check ur profile and I believe something is really wrong here. You did post on December 2, that a friend of urs used a fake bank statement. Then december 8, you posted your interview transcript for november 28 and the stories were outright similar. Hope you are not going there with another fake bank statement. Me know say na you be the two persons. FBI and CIA for using the fast track.. Maybe he is the one who knows unless he open up.. |

portelli: Bro Walspring, I'm very very sorry about the refusal. But I so much concentrate where the VO asked: did U applied to schools outside the US? U said: No. And the Vo ask again how many in Nigeria? U ans: yes yabatech. The no 1 thing I noticed was that ur answers to both questions were inconsistent, because Nigeria is still outside US, you should have answered no when the vo asked 'how many in 9ja'. 2ndly, since U applied to schools in 9ja, that signifies that u still have interest in studying in 9ja, vo might suggest you should go ahead with ur study in 9ja and leave US unis alone. But don't give up . Ure almost there. Just refire one more time, I'm sure you won't miss it. But it pains me, how professors fail exam! Thanks alot for this explanation.. |

nedum360: My sister is single. The vo never asked. N I have a statement of account of about 2.5 m. The vo never asked though it was on my i20. I concur it's possible I fumbled the reason for choosing the school. Is it possible to reapply n request expedite appointment. Resumption is 12th jan All you have to do is to defer till Fall 2015 since the resumption is 12th Jan 2015 and first available date is 13th/14th Jan 2015 and you can request for emergency request.. If you defer till fall 2015, you will have more time to prepare yourself and plan ahead and dont think its too fall because you go attend your interview by Middle or ending of May 2015 |

Me - NO VO - how many schools do you apply to? Me - 6 schools, Got admitted to 4 while 1 still on waiting list and i didnt hear from the remaining 1 VO - do you apply to schools outside USA Me - NO VO - How many schools in Nigeria? Me - Yes only Yabatech VO - Sorry i cant approve your visa...... Read this paper i will give to you and you will see the reason why your application is not grantedtoday Me - Thank You.. CONVERSATION AFTER THE INTERVIEW...Me - Can i reapply again VO - she dont feel like talking but something pushed her to talk and although she wanted to refer me back to the form before she said go and review your application before you apply again. Me - For me to be sure i asked her that are you saying i should change my school to another school since 4 schools gave me admission? VO - NO, what am saying is that you should review your application before you pay for another visa fee and apply or you try another country. Me - Okay and thanks. |

innovativeame: I woke this morning with red - eyes. Thanks to the taxi driver who gave me a call at exactly 4:03 am. Otherwise, it would have been another story. I arrived the consulate at 5:30 am. The crowd was not as I expected. I became uptight and nervous, in the quest to calm my nervousness, I was asking babes and blokes if they are on Nairaland but their responses were negative, I couldn't believe I had no brother from the thread . Furthermore, I had to run a brief interview with those blokes, in another sad moment, their responses were against what my coaches here have been stating, before a bad company corrupts a good habit, I had to refrain from all form of communication. On the other hand, I kept my mouth opened so that it won't stink when I'll be chatting with the VO. After all the checks and drama, the adjudication process began with 1st 3 folks facing rejection. I was still keeping my cool, still ruminating on the words of the elders on NL (confidence is key). Here comes my turn at Window 7 with a white lady in her late 20s or very early 30s. She's rejected 5 persons and approved 2 before me. I was trying to use my Mathematics mind to compute the sequence and possibly derive a formula for approval or denial but my sequence was not convergent. I walked close to the counter where my number was displayed, this is what transpired; Me: hey !how is it going? VO: very well VO: You are going to Illinois state University? Me: Exactly VO : When did u graduate Me:2012 VO: where did u school? Me: University of Lagos VO: what Degree? Me: Bachelor of science in Education VO : How did u choose this school? Me: I did a comprehensive research online by cataloging using Princetonreview.Com, usnews.com and stateuniversity.com. VO: Did you apply to other schools Me: yes I did Vo:: hmm mm, ok Me: North Carolina A $ T state university, Arizona state University and SIUE VO: What will this degree do for you? ME: When I return to NIGERIA, I'll take over my uncle's Science college VO : Science college? (With a chuckle) Me: (smiling sheepishly ) VO: Did u take GRE ME: yes I did Vo: can I have your test report? Me: sure (gave it to her with a a smile) V O: who is your sponsor? Me: My mum is my main sponsor but my uncle will be supporting (still staring at her while she nodded) VO: she gave me a white paper me : was still staring with ambivalent feelings VO: pick up your visa on Friday in VI Me: Thank you! Recommendations; 1. Pray enough because men who kneel before God can can stand before men. 2. Make ur response simple until u are asked to expatiate by the VO 3. Maintain eye contact until u hear the golden remark. 4. Don't be scared when u see other persons being denied, that could trigger some funny hormones in ur system. Appreciation: God uses people to bless us, I will be such an ingrate if I do not mention few names who were part of this race. Thanks to slimmy05, my brother,my chief editor, special adviser on standardized test issues, I can't forget Bigfrancis for taking time out to help even when it is not comfortable, Oga Walspring -general commentator, Prof ImPeriouxx ,adviser on public matters . My boat rocks today becos of everyone on this thread. I've learnt from people's approval and rejection, the comments, hilarious comments and all the saga. *trust me, I was literally flying while walking out of the consulate, I trekked from the consulate to Obalende without the knowledge of it* Congrats big boss... Enjoy your stay in Obamaland Cheers!!! Cheers!!! Cheers!!! Only me you gave general comemntator? To God be the Glory |

Why can't we Nigerians strike and shutdown the whole nation simply by telling the FG to repair or build refineries within a year.. Maybe we never believe that this can work because our leaders are thieves If FG cant FG to repair or build refineries within a year that means they are stealing from us.. I can imagine 98% of Nigerians stealing from each other, Although you might not believe this.. |
