PM Please so we can talk. |
My ribs are cracked already! @OP its very normal. My wife does that a lot. What is not normal but common is that both of you are already sharing a bed in two weeks. Why my wife does that? I have never asked! I just stare back at her and try to read her thoughts from her eyes and I go back to catch the rest of my sleep. |
The Ascension 2face Idibia |
I have listened to the entire album and as his biggest fan ever ( i mean that) i find this a very average album from 2face compraed with his last album. My take is his lable just wanted him to push something out..i don't know. having said that i like very much "kiss of life", "hate what you do to me", "#aproko", "International loving" "holiday", "Close to you" "Diaspora Woman" and "Jeje". I like a bit "Go" and "Can't hear you". I have no idea what Rocksteady is doing in "the Best I can be" and "Confessions" he jsu messed up what may have turned out to be very good music. Still the album is growing on me and i am loving it every hour. So i don't care if he is top selling..it is another joint from 2face delivered by konga and i like it! Check out these tracks and let me know what you all think. Please be careful as you move about..eat only what you are sure was boiled and avoid body contact with anyone with flu-like symptoms. One love my People! |

I read a book in 2008 By a certain Dr Audu -Use Water As Your Medicine. The book suggested a few things which i have made a habit since then. 1. I take 4-7 liters of water each day starting at 5am up till 6pm(depending on my activities for the day)No water after 6 pm and none at night.(the brain, according to the book needs to rest.So waking up at night to pee is not healthy) 2. Water and food must never mix in the tummy. It was very difficult initially but i got used to it. Water and food in the tummy leads to constipation and Indigestion and a host of other ailments in the system. Water with food does not allow for proper digestion of the food.Water as a universal solvent dissolves the enzymes necessary to break down food into useful components. So the advice is if you must take water and eat thereafter take it 30 mins before the meal or wait until the food digests(also depends on the kind of food you eat. Vegs 30mins,Carbohydrate 2hrs, protein 4hrs e.t.c)before you take water. This will also help you eat less, eat healthy and have a functional body system. 3. Water as a drug means that you don't have to worry about taking water when eating if you have taken your measured dose prior to eating. As an example i take 2 liters in the morning eat by noon(at which point i will be extremely hungry but still have boundless energy)take another 1-2 liters by 2pm( or 3 liters by 4-5 pm depending on what my activity is for the day. Usually i don't get hungry at all until later in the evening) and then a final 2 liters by 6pm. If it is a hot day i take more than 10 liters to compensate for body water losses. Overall I am a healthier and by far a better person all round. Water cures more than 10 major disease in the system including premature ejaculation( take with Unripe plantain and plenty of banana).A liter is two sachet of pure water. |

Oxygen has set up probably Nigeria's first Metro-WI-Fi network at the computer village. First time users will require a simple registration process. the vouchers cost N200 for 3 hours with a two day validity,N500 for 6 hours with a 7 day validity and 4500 per month. No data caps. Pretty fast,no super fast. I used it and i was really impressed by how much thought they had put into convenient internet. Drawback is that there are in the computer Village alone for now. |
Thank God! i felt there must be something seriously wrong with me.I just don't get it 'Readers are leaders'! If you read this you'll be something else far from a leader! Christ! and to think that some folks are actually signing up for this?! |

Interesting post. I am a Jehovah's witness,I am proudly one too! I have never seen or heard that witnesses hold their members to ransom. I was baptized Nov 12 1994.I don't feel superior to any other christian organizations cos we know from the scriptures that we should not be egoistic or contentious(Phil 2:3).I have been disfellowshipped for wrong conduct in the past and i choose to stay and get re-instated within a year after i have given clear evidence that my conduct is in line with Jehovah's requirements for his servants.I have all of my family members as witnesses, but we all decided to get baptized based on informed decision and it was never forced.A witness is not some one who attends our Kingdom hall, no it is someone who has studied the bible and has a basic understanding of what the bible teaches and realizes that it is best to conform your life in harmony with Jehovah's standards. It is tough to be one in a world that is saturated with so much decadence, but the bible does not leave us in the dark as to the real force behind the deplorable conditions in the world(Rev 12:9 , Eph 2:2, 1Jon 5:19) The bible also points out that not everything we do is acceptable to Jehovah as such we need to carefully examine if these things are so(Eph 5:6-11);so celebration that the world holds high are constantly examined to see if their origins are not found in some kind of paganism. The truth is Satan will want us to all serve him whether we know it or not and try to promote false religious ideas in the guise of celebrating God.Witnesses do not fall into such traps. No witness miss birthdays, Christmas and the list of things the poster mentioned for two reasons, 1. They know what the roots are and they are sure that it is repulsive to Jehovah 2. They realize that throughout human history the majority has been wrong when it comes to the issue of religion and worship of God.This truth is once again found in these scriptures( Rev 12:9,Matt 7:13,14) The poster is NOT a JW. I am and i am sure anyone who is will not list such mundane things as reasons why he feels frustrated.I had every reason to be sad and angry when i was excommunicated but i had also known that my way of life was wrong and false. I could not claim to serve a clean God and still practice what he hates so when the discipline came i realized that i was in the wrong and Jehovah was right. The JWs are very wonderful people who love themselves so so much. I have been to countries where i know no one; the moment i ask the taxi to take me to a Kingdom hall i know i am home. That is what our lord and master Jesus Christ says will identify his disciples(John 13:34,35) I rest my case. For members here who are JW please add me on FB https://www.facebook.com/Wandyvirus. Thanks! |
OP, i am in half your shoes. i am dating someone i was just fond of but my head kept on telling me that she is a good girl and a wife material. I have since listened to my head and conditioned my mind to stay with her. She is pretty, sexy and very intelligent. What else do i want? i know that if i ever lose her i'll be the loser. So if you know she's the wife material please use your head! i have used mine. I buy her stuff that i know i like seeing in other girls,i sometimes ask her to make certain hairstyles that trips me in those girls i'm attracted to.i make sure that i make her into what i need exactly and the dividends are paying of.She's s loves me that i wonder where my good fortune came from.I know i'll be happy with her and i'm beginning to have serious feelings for her. |
The Movie Aramotu which has won critical aclaim has been yanked off the cinemas. The movie, one historical in nature has Kayode Odumosu and Peter Fatomilola bringing years of acting experience into their roles while the young Gabriel Afolayan shows that he is not that far behind. Another feat for the film is its subtitling, which is nearly flawless and on point, with efforts made to translate incantations and Yoruba words with deep meanings. In addition, the proper Yoruba language suited to the period and the people was spoken by all the characters throughout the movie with very few slip-ups. This treatment of the Yoruba language movies is a trend i have noticed at the cinemas lately. Whereas "Tango with me " has been showing in he last 2 months,"Eti keta" did not spend three weeks before it was yanked. Aramotu is the latest of this trends. I sought to find out why at the Ozone cinema and i was told they don't do Nigerian movie more than three weeks.i pointed out that "Tango with me" and "Ije" ARE Nigerian; The Ozone staff told me that Aramotu was not doing too well and only started doing well four days ago. I totally understand that running a cinema is serious business and it is capitalist in nature, however if the claim is that it was beginning to do well(as evidenced by the number of us who came to see the movie) why put it out. I reasoned along this lines and he responded that Nigerians don't like seeing Yoruba movies. Here we are about 20 of us wants to see the movie and we are all(i'm sure) Nigerians! How do you give us a chance at our own? When will our own come of age if there are not given the chance to compete? I called my Cousin who stared in the movie and she gave me some insight into what goes on behind the scene when they are negotiation a placement of really good movies in the cinemas. Her revelations are very sicking and i think it's time we fight against this. And yes i am interested cos she is my Cousin.I have also seen all of the Nigerian Movies showing at the cinema at the times they ran. So it goes beyond my cousin and it's more about our culture our own. LETS SPEAK OUT! |
I was at the testimonial and i have never seen such honor bestowed on one man.The Chairman of the EPL was there as well as Chairmen of other FA's from around the world. It was emotion laden as Kanu and his friend bid farewell in a parade. The crowds could not help them selves as some ran on the track and pitch and to hug Kanu and their favorite Stars. Yakubu was booed all through his time on the pitch, that shows how unforgiving the Nigerian fans are(that includes me) Overall it was worth the man,the match and the rain! A chapter has closed, and can never be rewritten. It was a pleasure to see the Okocha,Kanu Adebayo combinations;to see that Rufi and Ike still has it in them;to see Finidi making those crosses he is too known for and to see Henderson from Portsmouth give a befitting farewell to The King, the legend-Kanu |

Big deal really! i have been praying that Skype gets more main stream than the eBay prison it was held for almost four years.I am interested in seeing how the VoIP markets will play out.One thing however is that Skype is proprietary and how Microsoft intends to integrate this will be a must watch. I also see another angle to all of this. With this acquisition, the desktop VoIP battle will be won by MS.Why? Skype's users are not ready to hang up yet and with over 90bn minutes of video and voice calls, thsi might just be MS answer to Google's Gtalk. How it will play out with Mobile is another kettle of fish where fring and Gtalk are holding sway. It's going to be interesting going from here. What i see is the next couple of PCs and notebooks,Tablets and the likes with the windows OS running a free Voice, video and chat-unified messaging at it's best! Google and yahoo, over to you(they both offered $2bn and $4bn respectively for Skype.Facebook did too,i have no idea what Facebook offered) |
AC Milan confirm deals for Mexes, Taiwo May 9, 2011 AC Milan have secured the services of Nigeria left-back Taye Taiwo and France defender Philippe Mexes for next season, Rossoneri coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed. The Italian champions, who won the Scudetto on Saturday after a 0-0 draw at Roma, have already moved to strengthen their squad for the 2011-12 campaign. Milan's interest in Mexes has been known for some time and the centre-back, who has already played his last game for Roma after requiring surgery on a knee ligament injury in April, will move to the San Siro on a free transfer. He will be joined in defence by Marseille left-back Taiwo, who also arrives on a Bosman, with Allegri happy to have moved early to acquire the pair's services. "In defence, Milan are sorted,'' Allegri said in a press conference on Monday. "We have taken (Philippe) Mexes and Taiwo.'' Taiwo, 26, has enjoyed a fine season with Marseille and scored the winning goal in last month's Coupe de France final, while Mexes will bring to an end a seven-year association with Roma. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/917665/ac-milan-confirm-deals-for-philippe-mexes-and-taye-taiwo?cc=5901 |
Sagamite:Sagamite please you should know by now that the poster is either a 20year old that thinks 55 is a far off figure(should be his Daddy's age bracket) or he simply has very low opinion of people older than him. From his post you will realize that he is a youth not older than 23.So save your breath my brother! |
I think we are missing the points here.If you read between the lines and take into consideration the comment of the Nigerian Journalist(typical of them to see everything from Myopic, jaundiced, emotion induced view),you will see that the senior boys are not taking kindly to the new structure. In my opinion they want to be pampered and takes things like the old order.Did he tell his coach he was leaving? Who has a right to decide for a player-himself or his coach? are we saying Sia1 has no idea he is injured? Is he the only injured player that stayed back? I read some arguments here and i wonder what sort of homes these people come from.Osaze has done his best for Nigeria yes.Is that reason or excuse for misbehavior? If you are a high-flyer in an organization, and you get the respect of your work mates and your boss,is that a license for arrogance or insolence? I read Mikel and Nsofor's comments in a daily and both said they know he is a disciplinarian. In Mikel's words he says "i like Siasia cos he will always tell you the bitter truth".This tells us that there is change and some are accepting while he is not. Please leave journalist like Shina alone with their one sided "suck-up-to the-british" comments. The time bomb will explode and Nigerian football will be better. If the senior boys want senior treatment let them turn back the hands of time to very recent SA 2010.Let them beg Yakubu and the rest of that sorry team to score at least one goal against SK.Let them lose to Holland in the quarter finals like Ghana did and then we will all ask Siasia to please treat them like kings.Siasia has contributed a lot more than his average self can ever dream of.A manger will have his style. It's left for the subordinates to fit in our ship out! |
2face cant even count up to ABC. His english is a Publick plus National this grace to HUmanity (no oofeinse)
Mr Cork! You wrote his songs for him abi? . Try "excuse me sister" or 'Go down there".The guy sabi yarn English o! No mind people wey they make us think otherwise.Actually i had that notion of him for a long time(tho i cared less if he could or not, bottom line is he makes VERY good music),i stumbled on a number of interviews across the world as well as his body of works as seen in his lyrics and i realized that he has a much more better command of the language than most of what i read on Nairaland. His body of works range from the very urban almost cosmopolitan ("Appreciate it","Go Down There" to a fusion of deep African lyrics and sublime English ("Implication","Only me","Enter the place" or sometimes just outright reggae ("So proud","Raindrops" and most of the time himself("free" "You No Holy Pass", "Pako" and then occasionally godlike("odia", "Oh Papa" .You need to not just know how to spell ABC, but also understand the complex relationships of words and rhymes.I doff my hat for him-he is the master of rhymes as far as R&B,POP,Hip-pop and reggae is concerned. |
sexxxxy:Sorry i was banned and i have no idea why!I think i have misinformed you guys and for this i apologize. One of the best books i read on nutrition USE WATER AS YOUR MEDICINE, written by A. O. Abudu says that eating fruits AFTER your meal will make the fruit will sit on top of the food in your stomach and ferment and putrefy thus leading to intestinal disorders foremost of which is constipation. However Dr. Zafar A. Nomani (Professor Emeritus of Nutrition, West Virginia University and recipient of King Hassan II International Research Award on Health and Ramadan Fasting, Casablanca, Morocco) says that it is ok to eat fruits during, after,or before meals.he says The dietary fiber in fruits helps in the churning of the stomach content. The reflex action opens the valve between the stomach and the small intestine. It helps in the movement of digesta in the small intestine. Actually, fruits which are rich in dietary fiber help in reducing stomach acidity, heaviness of stomach, etc. When dietary fiber in fruit touches the inside lining of the stomach, it stimulates muscle contraction and expansion and has a churning effect. Hence the movement of the digesta. It contributes in preventing constipation, upset stomach or acidity. This has been shown in hundreds of studies. So here i retract my comments earlier and tender an apology to all who may have been misinformed. I am trying to do a through resaerch so as to know who is right or what really is the ideal. |

to a fusion of deep African lyrics and sublime English ("Implication","Only me","Enter the place"
