I was a huge fan of the late Chuba Okadigbo , the then Nigerian Senate President. I was barely 9 years old. Keenly followed the affairs of the Senate under is leadership. It sparked in me the desire to someday become a senator.but that's all a thing of the past. Lol. No longer interested in our politics.

His late father, prof Sam Aluko who was one of the best economists Nigeria has ever produced was so upset by the son's indictment that he berated the senate panel and Obasanjo whom he accused of doing everything humanly possible to remove Okadigbo. He said his son Gbenga was vitctimized because of his support for the senate. He said his son was a victim of political gladiators and buccaneers. He also claimed the evidences against his son were cooked up and inspired.
