PoliticsRe: Nigeria, A Country So Corrupt It Would Be Better To Burn Our Aid Money!! by WarriPikin1: 5:34pm On Oct 04, 2013
blackchukky: Very true, but despite the fact that the British govt is fully aware of the endless corrupt practices , why do they continue to grant more aids, it seems there more to it
Exactly,
All the countries the British ruled from India, Pakistan,to Sudan to Hong Kong, Nigeria etc, all had issue of nationalism and many had to breakup just to live in peace.

The French were a little bit more considerate of the people they ruled and their really diverse culture,so although they created tiny countries like Togo,Benin etc, but most of their former colonies remained stable, prosperous and endured.

like Fela said, the British are responsible for what Nigeria turned into.

They continued to support evil in Nigeria, until Nigeria itself became a byword for evil. Now they are complaining. Yeye Hypocrites!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Special Forces Bomb Boko Haram Hideouts In Yobe And Borno by WarriPikin1: 9:50am On Oct 03, 2013
Abok1: I recently made reference to the importance of drones and Arial surveillance in the fight against Boko Haram, and how we can leverage on this mode of operation to end this quagmire, but my suggestion was opposed. Kudos to the Military forces and I am sure that victory will soon be ours.
We just need to buy more attack helicopters to support ground troops in combat.

Using airplanes to "bomb" targets you can't see especially a highly mobile enemy like Boko Haram, is a waste of time and a lame strategy.

@Op,
The way you posted the latest picture first and the older january pictures with Labaran Maku good governance team later, makes it confusing to see there had been massive progress. Has to look carefully to see the control tower was outside and exposed in the older pictures, but has become part of the mega structure in the earlier newer pics.

agbameta: Over 5000 shops,? The largest mall in the world is in China and it has 2000 shops. grin

Mall of Dubai has 1000 shops and these jokers are talking about 5000 shops? How do you build and manage 5000 shops?

Its nit even a mall sef, its market with stalls..... smh...
agbameta: +
When you see*+- them use words like MEGA, MASSIVE, HUGE, WORLD CLASS, just lmao or lol @ their comedy..
agbameta: Emotions, sentiments and holy ghost don't build anything without human competence, honesty and credibility.

The contractor for the largest mall in Africa is scam company with total yearly sales of $800,000. That's less than a million worth of work.

So, who is corning who? You people need to get off your emotional soap box and start using your brains for a change...
Shebi you are the one that said Igbos should leave Lagos and go and develop their region?
So, Why does it pain you so much when they develop their area?

While Jerry Useni and others are gleefully telling how they murdered their commander in chief, Gen Ironsi because he was Igbo and installed Gowon, those that have been made slaves in Nigeria because of that killing and who should be clamouring for the trial of these criminal murderers, are here wasting their energy and time in a senseless smear campaign against their own ! Wonders shall truly never end!

It is truly a wasted generation of senseless Igbomen we have today. Where are the proverbial wise men from the East?

I think Fashola and other yoruba leaders tired of seeing foreigners in their region should advise Yorubas to leave Warri and Port Harcourt or they are useless hypocrites!

Afterall, unlike Lagos, Warri and PH were never made the capital of Nigeria and didn't get one dime of FG money!

PoliticsRe: Has Governor Peter Obi Gone Berserk? by WarriPikin1: 7:34am On Sep 26, 2013
As long as he does not create a debt by taking new loans, Obi should ensure all his legacy programs are completed before he leaves. There is nothing like continuity in governance in Nigeria.

My favorite project in 2006 was the Enugu International Conference Center. That laudable project which was 90% completed was abandoned immediately the governor left office! Today,it is a structure used by armed robber, occultists and girl molesters!

Any project Obi does not complete shall remain abandoned and a waste of public funds.

PoliticsRe: Rivers State VS Rwanda: Why Amaechi Should Is An Underachiever by WarriPikin1: 3:59pm On Sep 23, 2013
Rossikk: Oh lawd here we go again. Biafrangoat sees a FEW pics of the choicest part of Kigali and CONCLUDES that ''no city in Nigeria can blah blah blah'', including Abuja, where she's probably never stepped her foot in. Fact is Abuja is miles ahead of Kigali.

Abuja
[b]Bros,

You have completely missed the point. You shouldn't compare Abuja, Lagos or Port Harcourt to Kigali. These cities are obviously located in oil rich Nigeria and have been key cities for a long time. On the other hand, Kigali is located in landlocked , tiny and poor Rwanda but have built shining cities and buildings because of focused leadership.

The comparison here is to quantify in real terms what Rwanda has achieved with 50% of the money available to a Nigerian Governor Chibuike Amaechi. To show that Amaechi's political activism and constant bikering with everyone has continued to distract him from developing his state, inspite of the huge resources at his disposal.

Many of the other SW governors and even Roachas of Imo have managed to combine politics with the development work they were voted in office to do. Amaechi has forgotten the number one reason for voting him into office is to deliver dividends of democracy to Rivers State and not to be holding press conferences in London and New York everyday.

Abagworo: More
O'l boy you are pathetic!

Anyhow, i will tell you that i'm a PH boy to the core. Born and raised in PH.... and i'm not here to make PH look bad. I'm concerned with the fact that we aren't booming with all the money available to us,while less endowed states are very prosperous.
All the pictures and building you posted, NOT ONE was built by amaechi!

NOT ONE!
All the New buildings Papabrown has posted of Kigali were all built in the last 3 years !

I hope you still have some sense to stop posting pictures built by Melford Okilo and Diette Spiff as amaechi's achievements. Show us what amechi has done. Infact,on my next visit to PH,i shall take pictures of the hundreds of abandoned amaechi roads all over the city and the nuisance they have constituted to our people's lives.
PoliticsRe: Rivers State VS Rwanda: Why Amaechi Should Is An Underachiever by WarriPikin1:
emiye: @ op, When making such comparisons, to aid the analysis, you must ensure your data is correct and can be referenced.

You claimed Nigeria's annual budget is 22billion USD , i found out it is 31billion usd.

You claimed Rwanda s annual budget is 1.67 usd, i found out it is 2.2 usd http://www.kpmg.com/eastafrica/en/IssuesAndInsights/ArticlesPublications/Documents/KPMG_Rwanda_Budget_Brief_2012.pdf coinmill.com/RWF_USD.html#

what other wrong claims have you made ?
You guys must stop supporting evil. let us call these criminals out,so that they know we are aware of their lackluster performance.

Even if Rwanda budget $2.2 billion as you claimed instead of $1.6 billion, their $2.2 billion dollars converted into Naira is just about N350 billion naira.
Rivers State budget of N490.5 billion naira still dwarf Rwanda budget by a whopping N140 billion naira! Which is the size of the budget for another major state like Imo or Benue!

Yet Rwanda has many engagements around the world to fund, they have a Police force to equip and fund etc and Kigali has added more new buildings, roads, hospital, remodelled and modernized it's international airport, brand new university, huge export oriented free trade zone, building a brand new railway from Butare to Kigali, compared to our Rivers State that has done what with the more money and less responsibility it has? So what is really your point?

PoliticsRe: Rivers State VS Rwanda: Why Amaechi Should Is An Underachiever by WarriPikin1: 3:31pm On Sep 21, 2013
Abagworo: You are the one dreaming. Amaechi has almost completed road to Opobo. What achievement of that sort infrastructurally can you attribute to Akpabio? He only constructed roads outside the city where there was little or no compensations, then painted the roads. What else?
Comon stop lieing !

I was in PH yesterday to visit my doctor friend at Wogi, and i almost cried for PH. The same roads that ediiot governor amaechi demolished peoples houses to build have not been completed for more than 5 years! YKC junction is a hell on earth not because of many car in woji or elelenwo, but bad roads! ..... and traffic backs up so far that cars are forced to remain stationary on the shaky Woji bridge, just as the OP. stated in the thread.Exactly the type of situation in Lagos before 1999. Don't even get me going about the state of PH now or else i will go back tomorrow and take pictures. I hated Peter Odili, but Amaechi has made him a saint.

All you people living abroad should not be arguing what you don't know just to support a bad person or party.By doing so, you are helping to kill Nigeria and your home state by supporting evil men looting our common heritage and leaving us paupers and miserable. Amaechi has not performed and should be called out not protected to continue his Mal-administration of Rivers State.

oily Yoruba: This is the most foolish thread ever, by a typical nigerian. How can one compare a state (Rivers) to a country (Rwanda)? Even if Rivers gets $1 trillion a month, it's less likely to beat Rwanda with say, a $100m a month. This is simply because Rivers cannot do anything without the interference from Abuja. Until the useless zoological republic of nigeria ceases to exist, there is absolutely nothing good that will come out of that place.
O'l boy, abegi shut up!

So why hasn't the Federal Government stopped Fashola from improving Lagos? or is Fashola not in Nigeria? Why have the FG not stopped Akpabio and Lamido from improving Akwa Ibom and Jigawa? Are they not people in Nigeria too?

If Ameaechi had not been frolicking with APC, you would have been the first to call a spade a spade!
PoliticsRe: Rivers State VS Rwanda: Why Amaechi Should Is An Underachiever by WarriPikin1:
You forgot to mention that Rwanda also fund its powerful armed forces, universities, more than 100 embassies with ambassadors around the world with just $1.3 billion dollars.Amaechi does not have to worry about any of that.

Other Niger delta governors have improved their states, built impressive roads and flyovers, built airports, building deep seaports some have embarked on uncommon transformation to completely overhaul their rural state within a record time.Even Non-Niger Delta states as Jigawa and Gombe have built impressive infrastructure. Lawanti International airport has the longest runway in Nigeria, and it was not built by an oil producing state!

So what has Amaechi really done in ONLY Port Harcourt all these years? The only project he had all these years, the Rivers metro light rail, has remained a pipe dream.
.

No doubt, AMECHI is a thief and a thug.
The worst is that he completely has no vision and try to cover it up by making trouble to distract us from his huge deficiencies.
