Romance / Re: Can You Spot A Cheater? by Waxxy(m): 10:59am On Aug 30, 2009
@oyinda,
unfortunately, you are about 80% wrong. A cheat/player can be anything but all that you have listed. what you have described, is a childish, insecure, sex freak.
i actually thot the poster meant "CHEETAH", grin grin grin

Romance / Re: Your Bf Lets His Friends Hears Your Teleconversation All The Time! Why? by Waxxy(m): 10:34am On Aug 30, 2009
The thing is, if you're so buff that he's showing you off, at least one of his friends would want to have you to himself. And while most would not make a move because of friendship bond, some guys won't mind. Even to the extent of burning his cables (masterminding a break up). Talk to him about this issue, it needs to stop, its not healthy for a adult rltp (well, except if you both are still teenagers)
Romance / Re: Your Bf Lets His Friends Hears Your Teleconversation All The Time! Why? by Waxxy(m): 10:14am On Aug 30, 2009
Not a big deal now, its not like you guys were having phone s*x? Infact, you should hold your head up, your boyfriend was using you o show off to his mates.
Just watchout for hanky-panky from his mates in the future,.lol

We should research the subject of discourse. Any volunteers?

Sports / Re: Nigeria (2) Vs Tunisia (2) on Sunday 6th September by Waxxy(m): 3:53am On Aug 30, 2009
To be sincere, I am more worried about playing Kenya in Nairobi than Tunisia in Abuja. Nigeria is not as good but i think we will beat Tunisia. Judging from our last game with them and thier lackadaissical atitude against Mozam bique, i dont see them beating us.
Anyway, i hope Taiye returns to the team cos we need him. we dont want any of that nonsense scares we saw against Kenya again.
Nigeria should get to the world cup
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester Utd (2) Vs Arsenal (1) On Saturday 29th August by Waxxy(m): 6:39pm On Aug 29, 2009

Travel / Re: Bellview: The Worst Airline In Nigeria. Don't Try It! by Waxxy(m): 6:19pm On Aug 29, 2009
I truly agree that a cheap price should not always mean poor service.
I've been on some really cheap flights over time and my only bad experirence was from LHR to CDG Paris (it really wasnt that bad, sha) the french hostess was kinda rude when she was serving snacks that made me feel as if i was begging for it and i wasnt expecting such a behaviour from an international carrier. to make it worse, we boarded from terminal 2 (the most useless terminal at heathrow). on the plus side, some parisian girls held my attention for most of the flight so i didnt even have time to bother about the hostess, lol

on a more serious note, Royal Air Maroc is really cheap from Lagos to London and the service is about 70% (Departure is 3:45 at midnight). Just be prepared for nonsense immigration officers in Morroco, they molested me and almost seized my mate's British passport. But that hapens everywhere

Bellview to London is definitely a risk i wont take, not even from Lagos to Abuja.
Arik is acceptable and Air france is alright (if ure lucky), my favourite air france experience was from paris to lagos. the pilot offered us free chocolates to take home to our friends, i was thinking maybe they were expired or something but it turned out they were good
BA, VA, KLM are too expensive so it makes no sense
Romance / Re: The Power Of Complementary/call Card. by Waxxy(m): 5:33pm On Aug 03, 2009
It actually does work u know and its not always because the girl is hungry or after your money, your business card speaks for you. If you approach a girl randomly, she knows very little about you and a business card gives her an insight into who you truly are. she may also be looking for a job and wants to use you as a network/link to your company.

A business card from a good company (even if you don't earn that much) will impress anybody, even guyz. So chairman, if it works, keep using it.

but also be aware that (wots-up) girls already know this trick and it could sometimes be your very undoing (mess you up), especially if she works in a better company or particularly dislikes that company: caution

Romance / Re: Please Write An Open Letter To Your Ex by Waxxy(m): 10:52pm On Jul 30, 2009
@seeker,
If i do actually write an open letter to my ex, i would stand accused of plagiarising your manuscript. This sounds twisted but its like you're my twin and you dated my ex, lol.

Nice girl, still friends but our relationship lacked vital communiation, had to let it go

Romance / Re: Pop-corn Begging Ladies At The Silverbird Cinemas by Waxxy(m): 3:46pm On Mar 31, 2009
These hustler babes are everywhere. In Abuja, we call them "Ceddi plaza" girls. You can find them perching around Bon Cafe, Barcelos on the first floor waiting for suitable prey. U'll see them at d start and end of every movie, sumtyms in groups.They shld not be confused with normal cinema-going ladies
Career / Re: Your Role Model In Corporate Nigeria? by Waxxy(m): 5:29am On Mar 21, 2009
Some great players in the industry have made the roll call. Oba Otudeko, Fola Adeola,Otunba Olasubomi Balogun, Erastus Akingbola etc, but my no 1 "menthols" has got to be Hakeem (Keem) Bello-Osagie former UBA CEO, now of ZAIN Nigeria and Pat Utomi ( u all knw abt him, Platinum bank, LBS etc). I actually have issues with those who came to prominence through political affiliations and influences, Adenuga, Dangote, Jimoh Ibrahim, Otedola et al. PS: Those that want 2 become Osewa, goodluck to you

Education / Re: Bbc Pictorial: Universities In Nigeria. by Waxxy(m): 8:56am On Mar 08, 2008
why BBC dey embarass my alma-mater now? Greatest Unibuja grin grin

infrastructures are not in place, agreed, but an average student from that shithole would still contend favourable with a british student. I did. thats the whole point of going to skool

You can not always copare a british school where u pay nearly £9,000 a year to a nigerian government skool where you pay just about £80.
Career / Re: Why Do Most Female Secretaries Sleep With Their Bosses? by Waxxy(m): 1:59am On Feb 25, 2008

TV/Movies / Re: Everybody Hates Chris! by Waxxy(m): 11:37pm On Jan 02, 2008
i also like the idea of Tanya always trying to get Chris in trouble, kinda reminds of how my younger brova used to make me get the blame for everything he does wrong.

i loved the episode where Chris came home late , and Tanya was very worried about him, just because she wanted to cut off her doll's hair and put d blame on him. thats crazy

i would have killed her if she were my sibling, grin
TV/Movies / Re: Everybody Hates Chris! by Waxxy(m): 12:26am On Dec 25, 2007
Raimond:

Politics / Re: Is The Average Nigerian Fraudulent? by Waxxy(m): 5:12pm On Jul 16, 2007
I have always said it, the reason why the rest of the world says rubbish about us is because we either say the same ourselves or do not publicly renounce it. If you publicly call your mother a Witch, you should not be upset if other kids call her so as well

@denex,
Seriously, which country refused you visa? I guess its the US but that is not a reason to hate your brethren in the diaspora. You need to get over your inferiority complex
