Peeps, i can't tell you the (nairaland )name of this friend of mine because he seems to be in the process of doing some other stupid thing (keep posted). Anyway, the most stupid thing i did for love There was this girl i really liked but never returns my calls. I saved up for days, traveled three states and booked a hotel room near to her uni just to tell her how i feel about her. it turns out, she was writting exams and i only saw her for a few minutes so i did not get to say anything. Then by the time she came back from holidays, i was over her. |

My best friend (Nairalander) crashed a brand new peugeot 504, destroyed a Danfo bus and almost killed himself because one silly girl was not feeling him? he also spent about N200,000 on gifts for the same girl who seems not to know how to say "Thank you'. im not sure if he ever even got a kiss |
Business / Re: Starting A Waste Management And Recycling Plant by Waxxy(m): 5:52pm On May 21, 2007 |
@Disguy, i dont think it would be as difficult as it seems. Collection is a tricky issue as u cannot get Nigerians to sort out waste as we do here, even some of us are forced to do so by threats from borough officials But remember that labour is cheap in Nigeria compared to the UK so employing people to do all the work would not be much of a hassle. my main worry is the machinery to carry out the project. If i am correct, a cardboard compactor/ bailer alone cost my firm about £250,000 (about 63 million Naira), and you would probably still need a polythene bailing machine etc @Zhia2000, could you please elucidate on your research on local recycling strategies, will it be functional in Nigeria? 1 Like |

tatajega: You do realise this is a stupid comment right? Seun is a 25 yr old nigerian boy. He is probably more human than you are, people know him and there is nothing special about him. How is it difficult for one person to moderate this small forum? im sure he doesnt even have to spend 2hrs a day on it, the forum has a life of its own and can run without seun himself. |

I can only wonder what this Breh would have said if it was the girl that asked for his number? Probably call her a slut? I like a girl that knows what she wants and goes for it. No sily games. WAX out. |

Travel / Re: What Was Your First Job Abroad? by Waxxy(m): 12:27pm On May 10, 2007 |
My first job in UK was at 4" Le Meridien Picadilly, in Picadilly Circus. One of my mates got me the job just 2 days after i got to the UK. I had to operate a dish washing machine and assist about 3 chefs at the same time. I did it for ! day and almost died, i only came back the next day to tell the supervisor that i was not working again and ran away. I didnt get another job for months Fast forward 2 today, my job is easy and comfortable for my schedule and its very interesting. Like one of my mates will say, everyone needs to experience some menial work to be able to tell a story. |

Girls that are experienced in the game will give u thier number the very minute you ask, that don't mean ull get nothing. So i dont think you start seeing yourself as a local champion I met this BIG girl once, enjoyed a good night with her and got her 2 numbers, she hasn't picked up my calls since then |
