Autos / Re: $275 In U.S, ₦2.2m In Nigeria, See The Clean Title Corolla Sold To My Boss(Pics by wayaa007(m): 12:23am On Apr 28, 2018
If they call the price of a clean title car, most people will run away. That car will cost up to $1,500 to fix in the US. I’m surprised to see $275 as a winning bid. Only advice I’d give anyone buying a car is,

1. ask the dealer if it’s a clean title.

2. Be ready to pay more for a clean title. Don’t start saying I say a Camry at Mr.A’s shop and it cost 2m, so yours should be cheaper.

For 2.2m considering the crazy clearing situation, it’s a fair deal. The repairs done on it should be well enough to last.

When buying a car, always look at it maintenance history in the carFax report, even if it’s accidented or a clean title, you don’t want a car that hasn’t been regularly maintained, it’s worse than buying an accidented car.

In the US, you have titles called “salvage-rebuilt” these are cars that had accidents, but have been fixed, and inspected and are certified safe for road use. There’s no harm in buying this type of cars, they are cheaper to buy and have been inspected by authorities to be safe.

Flooded titles are also cheap to get, a car with flood title can never be driven in some states in the USA, EXCEPT you have a “bonded title”, when buying a flooded vehicle, please ensure it’s not an expensive car because it’s not worth the risk. Make sure the engine is properly cleaned and serviced and that the sensors are working properly.

Certificate of Destruction is for the Junk yard, please don’t drive it.

I can help with a little light. Some of us can read in-between but you will see response from the surface. Why? Because it is a faceless forum. Humans can not detect bad intentions with 100% assurance and same goes for the VOs. However, lies comes with one or more loose nuts. That is what the VOs look out for not your English or expression.

Another observation: Silent readers of this thread seems to get their visa approved than those who brings there circumstance and stories validation. Did any body else noticed?

True, I was a silent reader for three months, I had my interview on the 19th of September ,
Questions from V0
Vo: good day, where are you heading to
Me: Atlanta for a Bleep conference
VO: what do you do?
ME: I’m a XXXX at XXXX
VO: what would the conference add to you, what is the conference all about?
ME: I explained
VO: what do you do again
Me: I mentioned my position
VO: Can I see the invite?
Me: I showed her and showed the letter to the embassy, and my tickets.
VO: have you traveled outside Africa?
ME: yes to India
VO: why why you given an x entry visa
ME: Explained what is and why I was given
VO: who sponsored your trip to India
Me: Company
VO: how long did you spend in India
ME: 8 months
Vo: alright I’m gonna approve you, come pick your passport in 3 days

Thing is, most times, you just have to do your homework, pray to God. And more importantly DO YOUR HOMEWORK, and be HONEST. There’s no need lying, it doesn’t help your application.

Another thing I noticed, a particular VO asked why was everyone saying they travelled to Dubai, Kenya, Togo, Ghana, is there something we don’t know about those places.

She then started asking “have you traveled to any other place out of Africa?”

I believe it’s coz people forged visa and it’s easy to visit this places

Sometimes people ask questions here mostly coz they don’t believe in what they are doing, they need validation.

At POE, just asked me what I was coming to do and I mentioned I was going for a conference, stamped me in for six months.

Well, it's not as easy as it is been written, likewise the pay.
Nowadays most IT companies do not only rely on your certifications, they want it being practical, like ; what can you really do either in isolation or within a team.

I know lots of peeps here with certifications all over.. go to LinkedIn you will see them flocking around with certs without any experience.

I am a Senior network engineer, it took me years of practices: trial and error to get there. I have a Lab at home where i simulate network scenarios during my off days.

You need devoted time to become an IT professional and then you start seeing the money flowing like water.

As an IT consultant you can't earn lesser than 500K a month except you don't know what you are doing.

God bless!!

But bro, you guys often fail to acknowledge one fact, there are few jobs, what do u want a fresh Telecoms Engineer to do while there are no jobs? Run off to do a masters degree or go somewhere, get trained, study and get certificates rather than sitting at home.

I took a year off my job to visit India and gather knowledge and certificates. The field isn't too different from the classroom, especially in networks and Server. I remember several times using remote access to help my friends on the field. I used SOlved an SCCM problem without having experience on ever using a Live SCCM server.

Young guys out there, if you can't get a job, and you have the funds, please pursue the certificates and the knowledge, it will always pay you in the long run. Especially when you start working and have no time to study for any exam.

And like the poster rightly said, you need to have a Lab to practice. I UNL, and VIRL I use to test topologies, I even integrate them with active Directory, SCCM and cloud, and still try to hack them...lol, all for fun!

YOU MUST PRACTICE IN ICT

Wayaa007 I dont know your location but if you're outside Lagos, you need to move to Lagos ASAP, google IT companies, do extensive research and start submitting CV on the Island. Like you said you just came back from India in June, not too long if you ask me but i understand the frustration. My friend was in a similar situation in 2014, CCNA CCNP CCIE (exam), he even attempted the 8hrs CCIE practical but wasnt successful. The 1st job he got when he got back to Lagos from India was 80k, after 5-6 months, he got another place with 120k salary and less than 6 months, he got a bigger offer in PH close to 300k. So just exercise a little patience, do your research and pray to God fervently, i still recommend 3 days deliverance at MFM and i know your story will change.

PS: still waiting for you to contact me. Thanks

Thanks bro, I've sent a message to you

So, reading his comment and yours, I can see he passed useful and intelligent information than you do.
Therefore, stop looking for people's Mistakes cos it doesn't add any value to your life

So I should support bad English?

And who talked about intelligence here?

You are just a brainless cow with access to internet.

I won't see something that's bad and not correct it.

To the guy with the post, I meant no insult, I just want you to write the sentence correctly for easy comprehension.

And as for the baboon that quoted me, and still used bad English in sending the message. I forgive you grin

It happens like that but it's not that good. Immediately you woke up from the terrible dream you will remember everything but when you slept again and woke up in the morning you can't remember anything about the dream.

I will advise you take your phone and write down some of the key point in the dream immediately you woke up from the dream. I guess with this you will be able to remember back.

Baba, this your English nor be am
