We? because you are the owner of Nairaland. It's like you write first before you reason... Between you and ICASng, who looks like someone with ulterior motive. She has contributed immensely on this thread more than you but you wouldn't know that or you know but choose to feign ignorance.

I'm a fan of what ICaSNg is doing no doubt. ICaSNg is obviously an agent with other motives. If he or she can stop telling people to "inbox for more info", remove their organisation contact details from their signature/bio and contribue with a non-organisational name, we can genuinely stan ICaSNg and appreciate their efforts smiley.

That's what I am telling you. You can have the conversation somewhere else not on this thread. This thread is for Ireland student visa. Why not create your own thread for your blind arguments and look for customers.

Initially, I never asked to have this conversation. I literally posted my 2 cents, you got triggered and decided to turn it into an unhealthy conversation. Did my analysis trigger you so hard that you couldn't ignore?

I deliberately decided not to quote you because I know what you are looking for but since you have decided to quote, I am here for you. I don't think you know the meaning of vulgar because I am yet to even start. What are you trying to achieve with this useless comparison between UK and Ireland,so people in Ireland should die or what?

You really had to go through my posts to know who I am but I dont have to go through yours because from your few comments here, it can be deduced that you lack acute reasoning. Who sent you to post comparisons here. You should be comparing your life with those in Ireland not comparing both countries.

BTW, you can't even force anyone to choose when it's not your money. Grow up and stop displaying your foolishness here

Exactly! So why are you still triggered?

ICaSNg:

Hello,

For a degree in Nursing in the Republic of Ireland, these are what you need to know:
1.Excellent 0-level results including Mathematics, English and Science subjects- @ As or Bs. Basically they want exceptional students for health science or medical related programs

2. Foundation studies-- which you have to pass excellently
3. Funds- for Foundation @ EUR 14,500 for 9 months and duration of BSc Nursing is 4 years @ at least EUR 17,000 per year.

Getting an offer after foundation in Ireland is not automatic, its strictly based on your performance however, you can study in cheaper European countries like Lithuania , Georgia, Czech Republic etc @ very affordable costs as low as EUR 5,000 per year .these places allow you study and practice as a Nurse in any European country or do clinical examinations in US, UK etc. If you pass the required examinations in any of these countries, you can gain sponsored work permit.

Hope this answers your question?

For further info- inbox.

Cheers

Justwise, here is ICaSNg asking people to "inbox" for further info in other to promote their organisation. ICaSNg is clearly an agent and they've been lowkey indirectly advertising for free here. I suggest they should be made to change their name to something else that isn't their organisation. We frown at agents on this forum.

I really don't understand why some of you are crying because of my harmless post. If you feel was I said was false, why don't you counter it? I literally backed up my claims. We're in a forum and here to learn from each other. If you feel the points I raised ain't true, why don't you engage me in a meaningful discussion rather than insulting and calling me names? That shows some of you lot cannot engage in a healthy conversion without insulting people.

I've been called names including a clout chaser simply because I compared the UK to Ireland. When you suggest options for people, don't you compare them? Did I force anyone to choose the UK? There are people here regardless of what I said that will still choose Ireland over the UK and that's totally fine. I just did a harmless breakdown and certain people attacked me for no reason. Well, most of the people that attacked me either just got an Irish visa or stand to gain something if more people use their services.

Also, I stated that I don't wana derail the thread for others that are still interested in Ireland and if you had questions, ask them in the UK thread. Yet, they still engaged and attacked me. I wonder why people got bitter and triggered. You have a long way to go if you get offended and personally triggered by other people's opinion in a public forum and can't induldge in a healthy conversation without using uncouth words. Smh

I usually don't like responding to Clout chasing / chasers. I don't know what your aim and intentions are but you are being very rude about whatever point you're trying to make.

I personally studied and lived in the UK for years, I can't say UK is the best alternative for everyone. If you took time to go through the thread you will see that I've personally advised the UK for those seeking easier visa applications or flexible tuition payment.

No country is 100% perfect, kindly let people made their decisions through their own research please. And as it seems you're trying your hands at recruiting people from here , stop being dramatic. People interested in the UK definitely know which thread to seek the right info from .

ICaSNg, when the thread was created, you said somewhere that the goal of this thread was to compare studying in Ireland to the UK and make the benefits of studying in Ireland known? Now, I came with verified facts and compared them, you're complaining? Simply because it's not going your way and last time I checked, we frown at agents in Travel sections, don't we?

And Justwise, this ICaSNg has his or her company's contact details as signature. Isn't that indirect advertising? I thought NL doesn't promote such acts?

You will never achieve your aim here because it appears you were sent to discourage people. Just imagine going to Dubai thread here on Nairaland to say that Ireland is better than Dubai, who that one concern. Everybody must not go to UK, everybody must not go to Ireland also. Allow people to choose for themselves.

So I could have waited for another year before doing my Masters abroad because of the recently announced 2 years post study visa by UK, it is very obvious you don't have sense.

You complained in one of your posts about someone cursing you, but here you are... hypocritically doing the same thing. I posted comparisons and didn't force anyone to choose the UK. Why are you so pained? ..and why you so vulgar and uncouth?

I am no where close to being pained or bitter. i just hate that one country is better than another talk. If i get to Ireland and i don't like it, guess what? I will move to UK or wherever i deem fit and if i get there and i still don't like it? I will move. And do you know the best part of it all? Is no one drove me away from Nigeria in the first place. I see a lot of people complaining of how abroad is so bad and a bad decision like they are being forced to be there. It just irritates me

Guy, I typed what I typed with MY computer and MY data. Did you see "Your" in what I said? If what I said irritates you, how does that concern me? If you hate the talk, how is that my business? This section has a large text area, type your own na... ahhn! See me see wahala o

Researcher Yeah? What was your research methodology? Who where your sample population? and what was your sampling method? What technique did you use for data collection? And what technique of data analysis did you use to interpret your data and arrive at your findings to prove your hypothesis right or wrong? How did you make this selection? What procedures did you take to ensure your findings where void of 5% error? Don't throw that verifiable fact thing at me cause nothing is verifiable there as far as i am concerned and i will not dogmatically accept your claims.

Have you lived in both Ireland and UK for you to be so certain about your claims? If not then your 2 cents are no where close to being factual. It would be extremely unwise for anyone to 100% make decisions based on someone else's experience. And by the way you say you are not forcing anyone to go to UK but by presenting such a biased comparison you are indirectly trying to make people feel its their best shot. I know a lot of people who have gone to your so called heavenly UK and come back to Nigeria because they couldn't find work. I won't even be surprised that you are not in the UK yet.

Lmaooo. I posted factual claims with proofs that are verifiable. I'm an avid researcher. If you can't counter all I posted by proving all aforementioned points wrong, don't engage me, just dey your dey.

Why are you pained though? Let people make their choice weighing verifiable facts and conducting extensive comparisons.

Ok,
Thank you so much, Emerald
I know that am gonna have to go for an interview, i just wanted to be sure bout the timing because someone told me that i will have to go and do my biometrics in Abuja or Lagos, then go home and wait for a later date for an interview... i was confused, am gonna apply for priority visa btw.

Nah, everything can be done same day and even though you do priority, there's also a possibility that you could be interviewed via a phone call after you do your biometrics. So be prepared regardless.

All these comparisons are not relevant. Someone with first class complained about job and also there was someone who testified about getting a data analyst job as soon as he graduated. las las you are not a tree. If you get to your destination and it's not going well you should move. There's no place in the world where you have things handed over to you for free.

Why aren't they relevant? When you have options to choose from, how do you make decisions? Do you just go with any? Don't you compare and choose the most beneficial? People always weigh their options. Did I force you or anyone to choose the UK? I gave my two cents [which I won't gain nada] and it's your choice to do whatever you want.

Ofc no one will give you anything on a silver platter but an enabling environment will go a long way.

Bros, u think UK visa won't start been hard once the June 2021 is approaching. It was easy B4 Cuz they know u are moving out as soon as ur done with studies. Besides, with the brexit coming, Ireland will benefit immensely from it Cuz most companies will come down to Ireland thereby creating more job opportunities.

"...most companies will come down to Ireland thereby creating more job opportunities" Okoto meow skrr yarns tbh. Ireland has US tech firms such as Indeed, Udemy, Facebook, Amazon, Google, PayPal etc and other top FinTech companies but someone with a first class complained bitterly here about job avaliability and others on this forum keep complaining about how difficult it is to stay back and get something.

In terms of hiring - Irish first, Europeans next, American, Indian/Chinese then Blacks. You can see that you're way at the bottom of the chain. In the UK, the diversity is way better and you actually have a fighting chance.

And what proof do you have that UK study visa will be hard? I gave you an explanation based on facts and you replied based on your assumption and thinking. Ireland won't benefit nada from Brexit compared to us. Due to Brexit, UK plans to fast track visa applications for health professionals from non UK countries and visa to be given within 2 weeks!

Do me a favour. Go to LinkedIn and search for Software Engineers in United Kingdom and then Ireland then compare the search results. I'd do it for you sef.

Got anything else to say? Ireland so-called "Tech hub"
