JesseJo:This Jessejo, you have been speaking my mind. The states that do not key in now will regret it. So much money for the states to make from this initiative. Unfortunately, my region is blinded by hate. Very unlike them being business minded people. |
The world is bleeding. According to the report. Civil unrest rose 10 per cent globally, driven by the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic caused a global rise in civil unrest and political insecurity, according to the GPI report. There were 14,871 violent demonstrations, protests and riots recorded globally in 2020. The report said COVID-19 was a “multiplying force” in future political instability and civil unrest. It added the level of this unrest going forward is likely to hinge on the speed and effectiveness of economic recovery. Countries with less debt and higher levels of positive peace were more likely to recover faster. |
criuze:The people they voted for is not their leaders? Whom then voted for them? Some voted in twice. We like to deceive ourselves. |
My brother, no insults please. Kindly tell me one outstanding project carried out by Peter Obi, you just mentioned. Apart from mediocre roads and the "saving of money" Oga you are just exhibiting crass ignorance. Show me the south eastern governor wgo developed only his village. Peter Obi was governor of Anambra state and anambra was the least indebted state and was also rivalling the other 5 states in terms of IGR and FDI[/quote] |

Buhari should not lift the ban, until twitter opens office in Nigeria. |
Moorish:Nigeria can only print Naira, we don't print dollars. So if the country is not earning enough foreign exchange through exports etc, we will have shortage of foreign exchange which will likely lead to devaluation. That is simple economics. The Nigerian economy is not diversified, we rely heavily on crude oil export for our dollar needs. So if there is disruption in crude sales/price, we have this problem. Now, Nigeria is not selling enough crude oil, due to OPEC restrictions as a result of covid 19 pandemic. Most countries are not operating fully so the demand for crude is reduced. Also India, I believe our biggest oil market have cut oil imports due to the ravaging effect of covid 19. In a nutshell, this is the major reason. We have other factors like, fuel importation, low productivity, population growth, education etc |
Eko showing leadership qualities. After Lagos Na Lagos. This man has only spent two years o. God bless Lagos State God bless Nigeria |
“Nigerians recall that President Buhari on 20th May 2020 signed an executive order on implementation of financial autonomy for state legislature and state judiciary, which the same PDP governors have rejected. Yet the Governors will be the ones shouting for restructure. But they have hijacked all the powers in the state and want more from FG. You would think their interest is for the masses, not knowing they want state police just to rig elections and intimidate opponents. |
Banana Republic. Don't they have a Vice, that can take over from the late President. Why his son? |

Ibrahim said: “We never received any notice from anybody to quit from the state. Why should we leave, we are in Nigeria, where are we going to? We shall continue to live in peace with our hosts. We don’t have any issues with the people here, they love us and we love them; I thank Almighty Allah for bringing us to Imo, there is no home like Imo.” I like this, one Nigeria ![]() |
Most Nigerians do not appreciate good news again. The CBN/FGN supported Dangote fully on this project, which is laudable. |
