It is mostly utilized for football matches and serves as First Bank FC's home pitch. The stadium is also home to the Nigerian national rugby league squad. The 24,325-seat stadium.It hosted some matches of the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup youth tournament held in Nigeria, and it also hosted the Nigerian FA Cup final 4: Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Nigeria's Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium is a multi-purpose venue. Enugu Rangers' home stadium is now used primarily for football matches. Nnamdi Azikiwe, the country's first president, was honored with the stadium's name. Enugu Rangers F.C., a Nigerian Professional Football League team, plays their home games at the stadium, which was built in 1959. A 22,000-seat capacity, a VIP viewing area, eight (  exits, artificial turf, floodlights, and a video matrix scoreboard are among the stadium's amenities.
