Politicians and their careless statements. How can anyone in the captivity of bandits be doing fine?

She is way younger and TuFace should have known better. I guess he is well prepared for the drama and enjoying it. Sometimes, I wonder what brought them together in the first place.

I have read about desensitization...

And social learning theory. But still can't fathom how it correlates with a chicken affecting behavior. Can you explain?
Okay. To summarise, the more a child continues to witness an act of violence, those situations become normalized.

So, let us liken it to slaughtering of animals. When a child becomes so used to spilling of blood, he sees it as normal, and it may lower his inhibitions against committing violent acts that involves spilling of blood.

Can trigger certain behaviors like what...?

Seeing a chicken shouldn't trigger evil in any normal person. What behavior has killing a chicken triggered in Africans?

Seeking knowledge from anyone is different from throwing away your lifestyle and embracing or copying everything the person does.

It can only make you a caricature of that person!
Go and read about social behaviours and pay attention to the concept of 'desensitization' and Albert Bandura's 'Social Learning Theory'. Then you will understand why people behave the way they do.

If it has not been established that killing of chickens trigger certain behaviours in Africans, then perhaps it could be because we lack good psychologists over here.

Any child or adult that wants to be evil...

Will be evil.
It's not about watching a chicken being slaughtered.

If any thing a child watching or participating in a chicken being slaughtered would teach basic values like appreciation for food, the natural value of life and death cycle, responsibility and a whole lot.

Our problem as Africans is that we throw away our values and embrace everything the white man does.

We can never be like the white man. My lecturer used to say the best we can be as Africans to the white man is a caricature. Because we can only imitate him not be him!
No one is disputing your first statement because that is a basic fact. Anyone that wants to be evil, will be! Regardless, there are some childhood experiences that can trigger certain behaviours in people, of which slaughtering of animals is one of them. So, stop dwelling on that and try to understand the message I was trying to pass across.

As for wanting to be like the white man, I'm not sure I understand your point, but let me pretend I do. You think my opinion is straight outta the white man's behaviorist theories and holds no bearing on the real life situations
we experience in Africans.

Well, if that is your point, then let me ask you a question: Why did you get educated with books written by white men and why did you adopt most life styles practiced by white men? It is for one reason; because they know more than you do.

Learning from knowledgeable people doesn't mean we want to be like them. It proves that you are willing to undergo change to become refined and a better version of yourself.

So, if Albert Bantura, a great psychologist was knowledgeable enough to develop the 'Social Learning Theory', the least you can do is learn because he knows more than you do.

SpencerForbes:
Go and ask the baby mamas, the high school girls who dropped out due to unwanted pregnancy, the women who abandoned their children for their parents to raise, or the hookup girls and prostitutes used for r_tuals: how many boys do we find in their immediate midst? Based on the data you collect from those groups, you can then derive your own conclusion about which gender carries the highest social risk and reputational damage.
Who impregnated the baby mamas? Irresponsible men. Who impregnated the high school girls? Men who are sexual predators.

As for hook up girls getting used for rituals, just imagine if parents raised their sons well, then girls wouldn't be endangered species.

In essence, women carrying the highest social risk doesn't mean they are difficult to raise. It proves they are vulnerable to the villainy of men because some people didn't raise their sons well.

Children know the difference between good and evil. Seeing animals getting slaughtered didn’t affect you. It won’t affect the average child. Evil people show glaring signs.
Firstly, knowing the difference between good and evil doesn't stop children from exhibiting bad behaviours. Don't you follow crimes committed by kids on news channels? They can be very brutal that most times they are tried as adults.

Secondly, seeing animals getting slaughtered affected me emotionally, but not negatively. Your assertion that it won't affect the average child is not true because it is the average child that always grow up to become a murderous adult.

Thirdly, in most homes in Nigeria, you will find at least one cultist, and one of their penchants is slaughtering humans they way they do to animals.

If you think their childhood experience of watching animals being slaughtered has no influence on their present behaviours, then human psychology is definitely not your thing.

THE ONLY REASON SOUTH AFRICA IS ON THAT LIST?

THEIR WHITE POPULATION.

THEY ARE REFERRING TO WHITE SOUTH AFRICANS, NOT THE BLACK MAJORITY.

THAT REPULSIVE LIST IS THE WORK OF ANTI-BLACK RACISTS.
Who cares whether they were referring to white South Africans? I don't have inferiority complex, so their opinions don't matter to me.

I grew up watching people kill animals, and I always felt pity for them but will still eat the meat because of my love for meat.

However, I don't think it's a good idea to kill animals in front of kids. Children are wired differently, and there is no limit to what they can do. An evil child may pick up a knife one day just to teach his baby sis or bro a lesson. If you know what I mean.
FamilyRe: Can You Fart In The Presence Of Your Partner? by We4all: 5:28pm On Dec 01, 2025
Is farting not supposed to be an involuntary action that can happen anytime? If it happens, suddenly, just apologise and move on. If you feel embarrassed about it, it's because you haven't bonded with your partner.

If your partner feels awful about it, then you might be dealing with someone who is as fake as Toke's bbl. Run from people like that cos they ain't worth your time. Imagine fuming over something you are guilty of! Regardless, try to control your fart as it can be embarrassing.

Lol...South Korea made the top choice. As in how? Is it the South Koreans I know or there exist another type that I don't know of.

In fact, I think Indians are the only Asians that look a bit attractive. Other Asians with their small eyes and short physiques shouldn't be described as beautiful.

It's just coz they have more ammunition than our soldiers .. all what these bandits know how to do is to put the gun on rapid fire till the cartridge empty put new one but to tactically pick and shoot a target from afar , leave am for military boys but those one na 2 cartridge them they give them while bandits hold like 7-8 cartridge.
Just imagine, then how can they win the war against those terrorists? It's even annoying given that the government spend so much on security, but achieve little because the ogas at the top are always diverting the funds.

By the way, you talk like someone who has been on the war front before. You be bandit abi you be soldier? wink wink wink

You don't force anyone to become a surrogate. They are always well paid for rendering their services. Tbh, pregnancy is actually risky and men should appreciate their women for embarking on that journey.

Without blinking, I can mention up to 10 women who died during or after child birth. So, trying to downplay the risk associated with pregnancy is cruel.

Although your post sounds funny, there is sense in it. These people have a motive and have a very strong back up. Imagine kidnapping students with a helicopter. The first question is, who owns that helicopter and how did it fly the airspace undetected? So many questions to answer.

I am more concerned about the person that recorded the video and shared it. What was the motive and why didn't he alert soldiers that there was a gathering of bandits? On a second thought, maybe it was even an army man that was doing the recording.

CrimeRe: VIDEO: Bandits Kill Palm Wine Tapper After Family Offers Only N10,000 As Ransom by We4all: 8:06am On Dec 01, 2025
This has become a pattern and I believe there is more to it. These generation of bandits lack sense. They target very poor people, demand high ransom which the victims can't afford and end up killing them.

Men, this is war and it is time to take up arms and secure your neighborhood. These bandits are having a field day because our men have become weaklings.

Where are the cultists who derive pleasure in terrorising their neighborhoods? Why can't they mobilise to fight these bandits? Oh! I forgot that they are only good in flexing muscles with the innocent and not criminals.

People, banditry won't stop soon because the people doing this are like wild animals and don't know when to stop. They will continue to attack, and it is left for us to react, otherwise.....
PoliticsRe: Bandits Kidnap A Bride, 30 Women In Chacho Wurno LGA Of Sokoto by We4all: 7:44am On Dec 01, 2025
They are not bandits but demons imposed on Nigeria to make life a living hell. Sometimes, I wonder how people derive joy from inflicting pains on other people?

Imagine if the victims had resisted the attack with a counter attack. The bandits are having a swell time because they have something we have been forbidden to have; guns.
PetsRe: Photos From The Kennel Club Of Rivers Dog Walk 2025 by We4all: 7:32am On Dec 01, 2025
Dogs that will attack innocent citizens but run at the sight of bandits. To be honest, Nigerians are copy cats and see owning dogs as a projection of affluence, and not necessarily because they love them. For what it's worth, I hate dogs.
