Lol...650K monthly for a 2 hours job. What sort of low class lie is this? The funny part is, it is people based abroad that exploit their fellow Nigerians the most knowing full well that labor is very cheap and under priced over here. |
bestman09:Who cares about your opinion? |
charlsecy:How many men are sole providers in Nigeria? |
pansophist:What lots of women fail to realise is that they might not be the spec of the men that asked for their hand in marriage. Exactly! That is because they couldn't get the type of women they desired, and had to compromise on their stand. Some women will never do the same and no one has the right to judge or condemn them. The difference between men and women is that men live in reality despite their desire/delusion, but women live in their delusion despite reality. Only broke men live in reality, and this is why the average Nigerian man believes that with your money, you can get any beautiful woman to marry you. Infact, most men ditch the women they dated when the were broke for wild pretty girls as soon as they hit the jack pot. So, what reality are you talking about? This spec of a thing are not qualities for a long-lasting marriage. Spec mostly satisfies a person's vanity. Spec should never be a basis for choosing a partner. When women choose men themselves, they usually go for spec and ignore the most important thing. When the challenges of life comes knocking, I hope such spec can be there to wither the storm. I agree that spec mostly satisfies a person's vanity, but would you rather have a woman settle for 'Mr available' only to cheat on him with her spec? Like some people have rightly said: 'we live once', and since marriage is supposed to be an everlasting thing, there is nothing wrong in wanting a spec for marriage. As for your last statement, challenges of life will always come knocking in marriages, and not every man (whether spec or not) will be capable of withering the storm. I know women who settled for 'Mr available' and did not have it good in their marriages. So, at the end of the day, nothing is guaranteed! |
RevenuesBoost:What you wrote up there was well understood. You said: "ANY PRETTY WOMAN IN HER 30's, or older, of course, who isn't married is because she has a bad character. You didn't make any exceptions and your post suggests that as long as you are in your 30's or older, pretty, but not married, then you must have a bad character. In other words, only women with good characters get married, while the pretty ones with bad character remain single. So, I asked you a question: "if that were the case, why are runs girls and rude girls getting married, while so many pretty good girls that abound across Nigeria are still single? You cleverly evaded that question and you are now contradicting yourself by saying that most women that married right, set a standard for themselves. If that is the case, then why ridicule or chastise older single women who are yet unmarried? Don't you think some of them are still single because they want to marry right by setting standards for themselves? Why should you conclude it's because they have bad character, and not because of the standards they have set for themselves? Let me blunt with you. Not every woman can settle for any man. On a general note, a man may be a woman's super hero, but some women will rather remain single than settle for him. Why? Because they have a 'type', and will never compromise their stand. What you people fail to understand is, getting married is the easiest thing for any woman if she is the type that is ready to stick to any man. Most women who get married every weekends, are not happy because they had to end up with the the most available guy, and not with men their type. Know this and have peace! |
Nnamdipapa:Lol... I was trying to be sarcastic though. |
tanigororo:Yeah, marriage is an achievement and it feels exhilarating that this so called achievement has sniffed the life out of many women. |
RevenuesBoost:What is your definition of a bad character since all the runs girls, rude girls and gold diggers that I know are married? However, I know other good girls who are in their 30's and 40's and are unmarried because they have set standards for themselves. Would you advice them to marry any man that comes their way just because of societal pressure or the desperation to become a Mrs? |
Lol...Nigerians and marriage matter. It's baffling how Nigerians percieve single women in Nigeria as unaccomplished and inferior. Look at this woman running her mouth like a tap water just to condemn her friend simply because she has set her standards for men. She is obviously envious of her friend because her type will even marry a lunatic just to have the Mrs title. I know women who rushed to get married to 'second class men' because of societal pressure, and most of them are regretting now but are too ashamed to voice it out or walk out of the marriage due to stigmatization. I like the fact that her friend is not a desperado like her, who would settle for any available man just to be called 'Mrs'. And for those saying that older single girls are unmarried because of their bad characters, well...you are entitled to your opinions. Though the last time I checked, all the runs girls are married. This implies that being a 'runs girl' is not bad since men are finding them worthy of marriage. |
brain54:Lies... Rich people know the value of children and never discriminate against their daughters whether she is married or not. |
brain54:This tradition only applies to daughters of poor men and misogynists. |
Dogalmighty17:Your mentality stinks! The rubbish men do to their wives, can they do the same to their side chicks? Some of the terrible things that women go through in their husband's house, did they experience that in their father's house? So, if a girl gets married, she should automatically become your slave? |
Kobojunkie:Lol....Of course! I can recall asking her to leave, and her response was: "over my dead body". Unfortunately, most Nigerian women are like her, and will prefer to die than leave their deadbeats and abusive husbands. I wish them luck! |
emirate9:Aside washing plates, are there no other chores a man can help with around the house? There are some men who will never lift a finger to help their wives no matter how fagged out she is. A woman cannot be representing a man when it's time sort out PHCN wahala, put on the generator, change the bulbs, or weed around the home, then you still expect her to be sharing bills with you, cooking and washing for you. Did you marry a wife or a slave? |
Silentgroper:Some men have never carried out the aforementioned chores since they got married. Why are you guys trying so hard to debunk the truth? |
emirate9:You talk as if you have been to all the homes in Nigeria. I can confidently tell you that there are many men who do nothing of the aforementioned chores at home. The worst part is, they are deadbeats and their wives provide for the house hold. |
ExudeLoveToAll:My father was a deadbeat. My mom was the provider and still carried out all the house chores. |
I support her with my full chest. Men have been doing women ojoro since time immemorial. If a man and a woman are splitting the bills, then they should also take turns to do the chores. It is called balanced equation! |
KingPure:"What you don't know, you simply don't know. What you won't learn, you can't know. And what you don't know, you have to pay for." Lol...Talking like a jobless youth as usual. Am I supposed to be interested in the life of Mr Eazi to the extent of learning more about him and his audio business investments? Sorry, I have better things to do with my time. Google is easy, cheap, and available to navigate when you're ready to learn. Let me ask you a simple question: How does Google get their contents? Let me help you by answering it... From you and I, and from every blogger who concocts story for traffic. Does that make every information on google true? Absolutely not! I can create a fake story today about you being a billionaire, and anyone who googles your name will see the post and believe it. So, how the hell should I believe what google puts up about Mr Eazi's audio business investments? Obviously, you don't know how google works, and you should pay me for this simple lecture. The young man in question is "almost" richer than Otedola presently. Since this information is from you, his financial manager, I absolutely believe you. ![]() |
pocohantas:Sex workers are over trying. Imagine allowing someone that, stinks and with an unpleasant face like this dude to come near you. It is even better to be a thief than to be a sex worker. |
He doesn't look sincere. The eyes don't lie, and I can see through them. |
The problem of children looking out for their mothers more than their fathers has to do with the man, and the relationship he has built with them over the years. As a father, If you don't bond with your children during their formative years or act responsibly, then be prepared to suffer the consequences. You can't be a dead beat dad, a wife beater, or a womanizer, and be expecting kind gestures from your children. Most responsible children become distant from their dads as soon as they sense that he is irresponsible. My former neighbor, for instance should get the award for the 'best father' in the world. He has a strong bond with all his children, such that they are always saying: 'my daddy this..my daddy that'. Whenever you tip them for running errands for you, you will hear: 'let's go and give it to daddy'. Do you think these children will grow into adults and neglect their dad? Hell no! My sister's friend recently bought a brand new car for her dad and even renovated the family house he built. This was a man who was very close to his children and made them feel special. He used to take them out and they continue to share a special bond. Their mom is alive, but she comes second. My point is, no RESPONSIBLE child will neglect his dad if he was there for him physically, emotionally and financially. Most men work and provide for their families, yes...but providing for your family shouldn't turn you into an 'aloof five star general' in your home. If you have a job that takes you away often, make the most of your presence whenever you are around. Respect your wife and bond with your kids during their formative years, and they will remember to send you small gifts and upkeep money as a show of appreciation when the time comes. |
Other men get married to daughters of rich men and have never felt the need to explain their financial status because the evidence is always in the public eye for people to see. Now, it's Mr Eazi's turn and they have been churning out sponsored posts to convince the public that his audio business investments span across 18 imaginary countries. Is that really necessary? |
aribisala0:You forgot to mention robbers kidnappers, and fraudsters No, I didn't forget because it wasn't a semester exam where I was asked to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of going to church. I was only trying to point out the basic fact that a religious place can be a place for great networking. People also get kidnapped in their homes, farms and on the streets, so I don't know what you are on about. As for China not doing God, why not strive to be like a Chinese? You can start by inventing something useful or adopt their communal way of life. Just for the records, if China don't do God, then why does the government recognize five religions including Islam and Christianity? China may not be an overly religious country, but they do God. The only difference is that they are not fanatics like most Nigerians. |
CocoteeHr:This looks fishy. Why did you give an email address that doesn't exist in the first place? He told you to reconfirm, and you are still insisting that the email is correct. Gmail doesn't make mistakes, so I wonder what your game plan is. |
It depends on the type of swallow. Pounded yam is great with ogbono, while amala tastes better with okro. You can also combine the two if you can't choose between both of them. |
That Ekwunife woman is vile, classless and vulgar. Why did she have to drag Nonye into her fights with the governor, and why did she come up with such malicious allegations? I can bet on my life that she is the adulterous one because female politicians have been known to be free givers. I guess she had to throw the first stone because she thought Soludo was going to expose her promiscuity to the world, By the way, why is she acting like she is the one contesting for the position of the executive governor? Is the governorship candidate a figure head? I pity the man because a woman like this will try to control him and bring his office to disrepute. |
yomi007k:This is what I always preach to people, but they think I am nuts. |
I'm waiting for the part where she gets rewarded with a whooping sum of money. Honestly, Hilda is big, and now even the president is celebrating her. That babe is a master strategist! |
Lol...This is funny. I think many people queued up to have a taste of the rice not because they were hungry, but just for the fun of it. |
fxexperts:Do you eat with your feet? |
