Truths9ja: Twins Video Leak: You Are Childish, Samklef Hits Back At Davido
Nigerian music producer and artiste, Samklef, has publicly berated afrobeats superstar, Davido, whom he accused of blocking him on social media over leaking the now viral video of his newborn twins.
LEADERSHIP had earlier reported that a video showing Davido, his wife and the newborn twins leaving a United States hospital circulated online on Friday.
Davido slammed Samklef for allegedly sharing the video public on Instagram, describing the music executive as a “clouth chaser” among other uncomplimentary words.
Although Samklef, who clarified that he saw the video on X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted same, later told fans that he and “Davido are kool”. However, hours later, he made a video expressing displeasure for what he called “disrespect” from Davido.
A visibly angry Samklef said: “I have never posted anything negative about you Davido, but today Davido, you allowed your emotion, you came to my timeline to disrespect me.
“First and foremost, me and you no be mates, you met me in this industry, we are not mates. If you are Davido, you are Davido for yourself. We are celebrating for your good news. Say you want to dey intimate me ni? O wa si timeline mi, o so fun mi pe ‘I am wicked, I am clouth chaser’. Then, what are you? You we dey call person, are you not a clouth chaser? What have you been doing all your life? You think say I dey fear you? I dey give you respect but you no respect yourself. This na good news, we supposed dey dey celebrate you.
“I sent you a message, I believe that as a wise guy, you supposed to understand. First and foremost, who recorded that video? Secondly, the person that recorded and leaked that video is from your circle. Why you no go blame other people? Why did you choose me? Oh, is it because your other guy did not post it first, I posted it first? Is that why you were attacking me? I want you to tell me.
“Because for the fact that you blocked me, it shows that you are pathetic and you are childish. I don’t belong to anybody, I no dey fear anybody. Loud and clear!”

bestofnollywood: Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has reacted to news of his arrest in Ivory Coast for not performing at a show after collecting money.
The Nigerian singer, who had a similar issue in Tanzania last year, said that despite the fact that his agent signed a contract with a clause of “no money, no performance” with the client, he traveled to perform without getting paid.Kizz Daniel disclosed this in a statement shared on his Instagram page, adding that the organizers of the show made excuses for “bank transfer delays.” He, however, said that without receiving his performance fee when he arrived in the West African country, his team was attacked backstage, which made him stop.
He wrote, “The agent signed my contract which states “no money no performance”
“I agreed to fly in regardless, after so many appeal and of cuz excuses on bank transfer delay with the promise of receiving the money upon arrival in Abidjan
“Till now no payment, not even the alleged amount mentioned I still chose to support CAF and went ahead to the venue to perform without payment, but unfortunately my 3 min performance slot was up.
“My team were assaulted backstage and i decided to take my leave.
“I am not arrested by CAF OR DETAINED WHATSOEVER .I AM FINE AND HEADING TO LONDON FOR MY SHOW NOV 12, OVO ARENA, WEMBLEY.”
kitikisa: Music producer and TV presenter, Kenny Ogungbe popularly called Keke, has passed out from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at 53 years.
He made this known on his Instagram account on Thursday, October 12. Sharing photos of himself and other corps members, he wrote: "NYSC GRADUATION/POP TODAY. Lagos/12C. Graduation Day. To God Be the Glory.
An Instagram user Onifade Praix asked in the comment: “Sheybi unna talk say if someone is above 30 you cannot serve again ni”
Ogungbe replied: “I graduated at age 25. You are exempted if you graduate above 30.”
Many in the comment section have concluded that he is interested in contesting for public office.
Homedating: Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, revealed that Olamide did not respond to his messages. He also mentioned that both Wizkid and Davido did not provide the verses.
Portable made this statement in a video amidst ongoing rift between him and his signee, YoungiDuu.
In the video, he clarified that he has made efforts to uplift himself and, in doing so, has used his resources to assist others. However, he feels that his efforts often go unappreciated.
In his words, “Here I am still looking for someone to sign me, to help me, I’m using what I have to assist you all, but you don’t appreciate it.”

NCBLOG: Edo Catholic priest dies of hypertension 22 months after regaining freedom from kidnappers
A Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Peter Ebhota Udo, has reportedly died of hypertension 22 months after he regained freedom from kidnappers in Edo State, Reports.
Recall that Rev. Udo, the parish priest of St. Patrick's Catholic Church Uromi in Esan North East Local Government Area of the state was kidnapped alongside Rev. Fr. Philemon Oboh of St. Joseph retreat centre, Ugboha, in July 2022.
The Priests were rescued unhurt by security operatives on July 6, 2022.
A Catholic Priest, Fr. Kay, who confirmed the sad news in a Facebook post on Friday, October 13, 2023, said Rev Udo survived two kidnappings.
“Dear Rev Fr Peter Udo, the Priest of Impossible Cases, I can't believe you're no more. Life is a mystery. Just yesterday, you wished me happy birthday as I sat typing my morning reflection,” he wrote.
"I had previously wondered why you couldn't make it to my birthday celebration. Unknown to us, you were already struggling with pains. But it is well. You were a man of peace. A joy giver, a light in the dark, and a priest who poured out his entire life for others. An Iroko tree has fallen! But God knows best. You survived two kidnappings, only to be felled by blood pressure? You'll be sorely missed. We love you, but God loves you more. Keep resting in the Bosom of the Lord, till we meet to part no more! Earth's loss is heaven's gain. Udoooooo! Pray for us who are still here. At your Requiem Mass yesterday, men and women of the CONCLAVE WEPT. In fact, Jesus wept too! Almiron: Lionel Messi has been informed that he is the winner of the 2023 Ballon d'Or according to family friend Alessandro Dossetti.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner has been widely tipped to win his eighth Ballon d'Or on October 30. It appears that he may have been told that he has won the award by a close friend.
