Mine was a life changing decision, I think I was either 7 or 8 yrs then. Was in the Villa, popsy just came from Lagos and his frnds came around. I was sent to go and buy dry gin(then in cocacola bottle covered with dried plantain leaves) I rode my tyre(that's my car then.. lol) so as to be fast. After I bought the drink, I was riding the tyre back home when the drink started spilling to the external walls of the bottle, I was just licking up the spills till I started siping the drink from the plantain leaves covering... I just knew that I found myself in the evening of the following day. I was told that I was lost and my parents and family members were looking for me, it was reported to the village head and he ordered a search for me. My parents were devastated because we are just two boys. Finally they found my tire along a bus path and entered the bush to search for me, that was how they found me inside thick bush sleeping away. I was brought home and I was told I was sleeping and falling from the bed till I was laid on the floor. Many things went through my mind o, a snake could have bitten me or other animals. So I just made up my mind never to go near alcohol from that early stage, and I have kept dt vow till now dt am over 30yrs. I have concluded dt alcho is not for my kind of person.

Just like me I no get brain to withstand alcohol

Let us share the craziest things we've ever done when under the influence of alcohol. Here's mine.

During my first year in the university in Ghana. we were organised a welcome party by the school, usually called Akwaaba night. so my PH friends who were already into drinking and partying even before they came to Ghana incited me to drink, and i took just 2 bottles of star. Low and behold my brothers and sisters i started seeing angels. I walked up to a very beautiful girl sitting by the bar and started rubbing her thighs in a manner that's suggestive that she's a prostitute, meanwhile she was just another 100 level student like me. I was rubbing her thighs, even trying to enter her most holy place, whiles telling her to come home with me., and that i'd do her well. What i would never do ordinarily. This lady took offence and landed me a dirty slap that reset my brain. Me weh dey gentle and calm by nature come wan retaliate o. my friends come dey hold me. i come dey shout dey tell the girl "You be ashawo". "F*ck you". See girl weh i wan help sef"...

The next morning my name was on everyone's lips, My friends making jest of me that just 2 bottles of star turned me into a commando I swore never to take alcohol beyond my threshold.

It's been more than 2weeks of inter state ban. Asymptomatic cases would have been revealed within this period if there was any.

Why do you think they lifted the ban? Cos at the expiration of the two weeks lockdown no case was revealed And as long as there's no exit and ingress into the state, no new case will be recorded.

Guy, I'm totally frustrated and tired. It's hell on earth. When you complain, people will advise you to start a trade, your own business or whatever, but none of them would raise a finger to assist with the needed capital. And finally, don't stay idle and expect manners to come falling for you. Engage yourself in anything you could find, however, derogatory, so long it puts food on your table. Nonetheless, let it be legitimate. God is a rewarder of hard work. and He never fails.

Trust me, you are not alone.

Remember quitters are never winners, and winners are never quitters.
