Pls do not take any drugs except paracetamol that is when u av started weaning.I wont lie it is indeed painful especially when you av a big breast like me#lol#and pls don't drink hot water or massage ur breast with hot water cos it wud just make u produce more milk and don't extract d milk as well cos ur body wud also produce milk.I used hot water and I felt so much pain that I started crying,my breast was so big and painful (this was for a week) I didn't know I was using d wrong method until someone told me about 'ice block'and when I used it,d next day my milk dried up(its just like when u r using ice block 4 a swollen part of d body)also stay away from pap or foods u eat that made u produce much milk and pls talk 2 ur doctor about it

U and I can do research n pay a Paed, but not evryone can......even the Doctors go wrong somtimes cos dey r human dats why research is important.what still bafffles ♍ε̲̣̣̣̥ is ds Woman's hubby na Big Boy oh so it couldn't hav been Money issue.

U seee what I'm saying, I've always known too that hydrocortisone is a VERY strong steriod 4 Adults how much more babies. Google is Ur Friend

I realy feel for her oh. You have a point there oh! Even though my baby's pead makes jest of our(hubby and I) coming too often, I dont mind oh! I just laugh and tell her that thats why they are there and afterall she is not doing it for free. I have said on this thread befor that I dnt think we are Doctors or medical personel just mothers with some form of experience, and even if we are, we cant well examine your child online, so that should be put into real consideration...

Somthn happened I̶̲̥̅̊n my estate last night, a lady lost her 3weeks old baby. The baby has bn stooling for 3days and instead of seeking medical help,the lady prefered 2call mothers with newborn 2ask what 2give 2her child. A Moda asked 2giv Jelosi and flagyl or somthn like that sha. 2days after the baby was stl down n very pale dats whn she decided 2go 2 †ЂΞ hospital. Long story cut short, the child died. The cause of stooling was discovered to be Jaundice.
Lesson 2be learnt here is wha is wrong with ur child might not be same wth anoda child even if dey exhibit same symptom.we are all here 4 one anoda but pls let's try as much as possible not 2giv drug prescription.

The soup is gud 4u, especially if it contains Uda,I neva xperience tommy probblem with my baby.........but I started givin her gripe water evry morn fron when she was 3days old

Congrats Dearie, 4 CS u cant tie ur tommy, just keep breast feeding it wil go down......tying tommy immediately after CS is @ur own risk oh
Shea butter(clean one)is very gud 4babyy skin, dats wht I use 4my baby. I mixed it with olive oil dn Whisk like egg to soften it. Dats wht I use 4 both her hair n Skin

I Don't get the part of the hot water

My 12days old baby is having cough and catarrh with repeated sneezing, someone suggested we give Amplicox but I'm against that. I gave him Vit C drop this evening when I saw his laboured breathing; we've been told at the hospital not to give anything except breast milk.

I'd taken up a fight with granny this night as she insists we give Ampiclox claiming that was what they gave to me then I planned taking him to the hospital tomorrow morning,though.

Any home remedies?

Don't give any ampiclox pls, vit c is ok.........also try massaging wth hot water and apply shea butter on his nose bridge.....take alot of fruits ur self since u are still breastfeeding........hope ds helps

I actually asked that question to know if the reaction was as a result of the nan, I was thinking maybe her tummy isnt accepting it(that is if the discomfort startd as a result of it) so I thought if stoping the nan improves the situation then she may try another product, ofcourse after being certain the discomfort was bc of the nan... Strictly my thought!

Making it light is also a good option.

U have to adhere to the instruction on the tin. Making it light results to stooling n dehydration. And can be bad too....I'll rather advice U always prepare the least mil and giv water as well cos any baby who's taking anythn apart from breast milk shd take water.Giv water 30mins b4 or after Nan
